True and honest. There is no other place that I would trust with my vehicles!! From my Father in law , now down to my son this place will remain our go to trusted repair shop!You are treated like old friends or family here.The work is backed and reliable.I reccomend this company to anyone!

Took my car in because I found my previous mechanic was ripping me off. Asked my neighbors in Nextdoor app and Garrett's came highly recommended. They took care of my car with fantastic service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

When you drive a vintage truck you are careful where you take it for repairs. This was my first trip to Garrett's with my truck to have AC work done. An AC conversion to 134a I thought would be an easy job, however, it all leaked out before I got home (They were aware that there was a prior leak). You would think they would stand by their work, but this was not the case. My grandson (a mechanic) looked at it afterwards and told me the bottom hose was loose. Elsewhere, I had that hose tightened, the system recharged, and now it works fine. This is after Garrett's told me (after it all leaked out) that I needed a new compressor, condenser, drier, and new hoses. What I had was not broken - just leaking!To top it off, they made me feel like this was my fault! I told them there was a leak up-front before the hood was ever opened. Apparently the mechanic at Garrett's that did the work can't admit he failed to do his job. What ever happened to standing by your work and "treating the customer like family"? There was no refund offered or even an apology. Just excuses and ego.If you are looking for quality automotive care and accountable customer service -- go elsewhere.One star not even close.Service: Air conditioning

Family owned & operated, and they know their stuff. If you have a Ford anything, the owners will love you. Don't have American made? They'll still take great care of you. I'd trust my cars to these folks any day. Make sure to say hi to the family Silver Labrador that loves to hang out there too!

I have a 2008 jeep wrangler and every time I have a problem I take it to Scotty he fixes it with no trouble. I ve had multiple oil leaks and just yesterday I took it to him with a starter problem and fixed it in half an hour and lastly the customer service is great they would return my calls if their not there (which is very rare) and gets me an appointment that fits my schedule. I appreciate them and the hard work that they do, if you have any vehicle problems take it to them.

In spring 2022, my transmission in my Jeep (2017 Grand Cherokee) went out while driving to Baltimore for work. We had it towed to a Jeep dealership in Baltimore. The dealership determined that I needed a new transmission, but the part was backordered, indefinitely. So I had no choice but to wait... Until they called me a couple months later that I needed to get my Jeep off their lot. They didn't even try to get the part! So we had it towed to Garrett's, and once I gave them the go ahead to fix it, they had the parts needed within a week. It was ready to drive two weeks after the go ahead. Can't thank them enough for helping me out with my Jeep.

Good locally owned repair shop. They are busy so you have to make an appointment but it s worth it if you can wait. I appreciate that they don t pick your car apart during state inspections to offer repairs that aren t needed. Highly recommend.

I've been bringing my cars to Garrett's for years but last time I went in for an inspection he charged me over $30 for some windshield wipers to be replaced even though my windshield wipers were less than 3 months old and premium. The windshield wipers they put on my car are the biggest pieces of junk I have ever seen. Guess he threw away a good customer for $30.

We have taken our vehicles here for about 3 or 4 years. Always treated me great, and taken care of any issues i have had. My husband and I have been going here for about 3 years now and we always get amazing service.Everyone is so nice and helpful. It also helps that there is an adorable pupper named Bubbles there as a mascot.Cars are always fixed in a timely fashion and they are willing to work with you. They're most trustworthy mechanics I've met. I can't recommend them enough.

Fast, friendly, and honest. What more can you ask for out of a shop?! Had my car towed there expecting to replace an alternator. A few hours later I got a call saying that my alternator was fine and just needed throttle body cleaned and programmed. Got my car repaired for 1/3 of what I expected to spend and 3 days earlier than planned. I'll never take my car to another shop again! Big thanks to the whole crew at Garrett's!!

We had heard great things about Garrett s Automotive so decided to try them out and we couldn t have been happier! What a great experience from when we dropped our car off intil we picked it up. We have an Audi which not everyone is thrilled to work on, but Garrett s knew exactly what they they doing. Our car is running better then ever! Great customer service, great automotive service, great experience all around!! We definitely recommend Garrett s.

The guys down at Garrett s are fantastic and quick!! Dropped off my car for some exhaust work thinking it would take them the weekend to finish it up but they had it done the next day!! The people are friendly, knowledgeable, and very fair in their pricing. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Garrett's Automotive is the absolute BEST around! Scotty and his team go above and beyond to make sure the customer is SATISFIED. You will not find the quality of service, the price or the friendliness of staff anywhere else. I would Recommend this business to EVERYONE, you will not be dissapointed!!!! Thanks for all you have done for me over the years, i don't trust anyone else for my car care needs!!!

This shop will not disappoint. Very reasonable labor rates, experienced technicians, and straight talk about what your car really needs. They never try to sell you on things you don't need. They will also be straight with you about some of the known trouble spots for a particular make & model of car, so you can plan ahead for maintaining your current car or buying something to replace it. I won't take my car anywhere else!

Needed to find a mechanic when I moved to the area about a year and half ago, got super lucky with Garrett's. Always so impressed when I leave the shop! Great work, great prices and such a friendly staff. Really enjoy working with them! Won't go anywhere else!

Great service with honest and reliable people! Fast and the quality of the work is outstanding. Had an issue with my son s car another repair shop couldn t fix after multiple tries - Garrett s got it fixed right the first try and had it figured out no time. Trust me - take your car to them if need a great mechanic! Tell em you read Gen e s five star review!!!

Took my vehicle over to the shop to have repairs done. Repairs were completed that same day and so I went later that evening to pick up my vehicle. After picking up the vehicle and leaving the parking lot I noticed that there was damaged to my drivers seat lumbar adjustment knob, knob had been completely broken off and the lumbar assembly inside of the seat was damaged too. I turned around and went back to their shop to find report this damage. Note: That this lumbar assembly was in proper working order before arriving at their shop. The shop mechanic had just test driven my truck prior to me coming to pick it up but he swears they didn't do the damage to the lumbar seat adjustment knob and blamed the tow truck driver. My drivers seat was totally out of my normal adjustment settings, the tow truck driver wouldn't have needed to adjust these settings.I was satisfied with the work performed, but I truly believe they did this damage and refused to own up to it. Anyway this was my first and last experience with Garrett Automotive.

If you need a shop to fix your car right the first time and not try to drain your wallet in the process then this is the place to go.This is a family business that will treat you as a person, not a dollar sign. Scottie had worked on our vehicles for years. His shop is the only place we go to.

I have had my cars and bike worked on at Garrett's and wouldnt go anywhere else! By far some of the nicest and most honest people youll ever meet. With it being hard to find someone you can trust these days, the folks at Garrett's arent just your everyday people theyre remarkable.

Scott, Joyce and family are top notch! They offer quick, excellent service at fair prices and are willing to work with you on whatever repair you need. They communicate promptly and explain everything well. I heartily recommend!

This family own business is amazing. They are my maintenance for over 3yrs now but never have a problem with my car...they have a very good experience to work with different cars too and the same people who work with your car every single time...not like other campaniles that they keep on changing mechanics.
