I like this place. Always friendly, helpful and get the job done. I recommend bringing your car here. Just changed my review from 4 stars to 5 stars as I just picked my car up again from them and loved the experience. Nice work Edwards Auto Care.

Great auto shop they have always gotten my car done at a reasonable time and a reasonable cost. They treat everyone with kindness as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend coming here to get your car fixed.

Edwards Auto Care is the best place in town! They are always reliable, honest, and trustworthy. You will get your vehicle fixed in a timely manner, with excellent customer service and care to your car. They have helped me maximize my time with my vehicle and I look forward to driving it for many, many more years to come! My new favorite place to go to! They are the best. Gentlemen are very sweet, kind and thorough. Very honest and reasonably priced. I dropped my car off in the morning for pads and rotors replacement, oil change and inspection. Picked it up in the evening! Edwards has become my new go-to auto mechanic after the last trusty place I used switched ownership. I have been beyond pleased with the service I ve received at Edwards. They ve been extremely reasonably priced on oil changes and general repair work. Recently, one of my cars( 14 Sonata w/ less than 100k miles) had the engine lock up on it. It was a mystery as to why this happened but required a total engine replacement. They quoted me a very reasonable price with a low mile used engine but also decided to look into recalls/extended warranties that might be available to me. Due to their research and help I was able to take it to a Hyundai dealer and have my engine replaced free under an extended warranty. I m very happy that they took the time to look into/suggest this knowing that they would potentially loose the job if covered. They ve gained a customer for life and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional shop!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Awful. Don t even bother going. They had my car there for months and didn t fix the issue. When I picked up the car it was making a noise that definitely wasn t present when I brought the car to them. The serpentine belt was out of place and completely fell apart while driving. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my belt when they first had my car.Update: I called them to get to the bottom of the issue and was told that they saw my complaint on here and hung up on me. Wasn t rude to them at all when I called.

I Matt the owner over the past summer in my neighborhood. He s a very good friend of mine right now. I need a break work done on my Mazda, Cx9 I ll took it to him today. I am beyond pleased with Edward s service to my vehicle. The first word I thought of when driving my Beetle the day I got it back was pearly because everything felt smooth and clean. I could feel the joints of my car smoother and responsive. They did a good amount of work overall 7-8 things I asked for, and they worked very hard to get me a good deal. These are veteran boys in the mechanic industry and they are very aware of the arching costs of cars trying to keep up with technology and different sensor misfires. These men are a true testament that honest blue collar service is still alive in America. I m very thankful that I found Edward s Auto Care for a second opinion. They shopped around to find the best deal on parts for me and kept me posted along the way with estimated times, prices, and information. My new to me car has over 200k miles on it and I think I found the place that will help me make it another 100k. Thanks again!

Really nice people who do decent work for a fair price however they typically have your car for at least a week and communication is non existent. The posted hours of opperation are not adhered to and promises of return calls are never met.

Called in to get a quote to replace injectors in my Audi. Brittany took care of me quickly and was very knowledgeable. A lot of shops didn t want to help due to their inexperience, but these guys are going to take care of me in a few days. Very reasonable prices and scheduling. I came in and their mechanic walked me through everything and explained it very well. Fixed it very well. They took care of me, no complaints. I hope to do a lot of repeat business with the future.

I called Edward s Auto Care on a Tuesday night (right before close) after experiencing problems with my brake pads/rotors. They let me drop off my car early Wednesday morning, even though they were booked for the day. They had my problem diagnosed by Wednesday afternoon, and my car ready to go the next day. Everyone I talked to at Edward s was genuine and honest. I can t thank them enough for their work and kindness. I will go to them as long as I m in RVA!Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

The differential on my 2000 F150 went bad. I called Edward's Auto Care because of the great reviews. I spoke with Darryl and he was fantastic. He immediately presented me with repair options. I felt very comfortable and confident that I had selected the right repair shop. He searched high and low to find the exact replacement differential for my truck. Within a couple days he had received the part and had me up and running.

Needed a good amount of work done, and didn't think I would be able to get it all done at the same place. Not only did they surprise me with being able to do everything there, their pricing was surprising as well. They gave me such a great deal on everything. This is the most honest, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful auto shop I have ever used. I highly recommend them and will continue to go to them for all my needs. My car is like driving a new car after they were finished and my bank is not hurting at all.

I have used the services of Edwards' Auto care for over 35 years. They have never let me down. They do great work at a very reasonable price and stand by their work. I have nothing but gratitude for all they've done for me over the years. Even when stranded, they came to my rescue. They're like family; they care about you and your car. Oh my goodness!!! These gentlemen were so awesome. They squeezed me in to fix some trouble with my brakes. I thought for sure they were going to charge some crazy fee like most garages. INSTEAD, they charged me a super great rate and explained to me the problem. They were super friendly and willing to work with me. The men at this garage were kind, hard working and funny!!! I will definitely take my care here from now on!!! Their kindness and professionalism and willing to go above and beyond has won them a lifetime customer. I shall use my big mouth to shout their awesomeness to all my friends in the area!!!!

It s been an year now! they are my regular mechanical repairer....I blindly trust them. I had issues with tires, brakes, knock sensor and so many things and every time they ve solved my problem with pretty decent price. I regret not going there earlier. I have wasted big amount of money going so many places in downtown. Thanks for the best service guys and thanks for not charging with some minor problems too (Suzy)

These guys are legit. I can't recommend Edward's Auto Care enough! I've been using them since I first moved to Richmond over 3 years ago from reading all the good reviews online. And it's true, these guys are the absolute best. They are always friendly, helpful, and honest. Prior to moving here, I spent YEARS with a broken speedometer and over $1k spent on trying to get it fixed with other shops. The guys at Edward's were able to get it done! Lovely people, pleasure to talk to. I asked for a quote for a specific job and was quickly called back with a very reasonable price of 2/3rds what the dealership wanted. Took it in the next day, and they even threw in the tire rotation I asked for for free since they were working on my brakes anyway. I would absolutely recommend them and they can expect my future business.

I do not have enough nice things to say about Edward s. I have been taking my car to them for 5 years and they have always been incredibly kind and helpful. They have called around to make sure that they are getting the best deal for parts for me, they charge reasonable prices, (and non car-related) they have walked me to my car after dark and always give my dogs biscuits when we walk down to pick it up. They re wonderful.

One of the best shops I've been too in the Richmond area. Dropped my car off in the evening and got it back with new sway bar linkages in less than 24 hours. The guys were honest, thorough, and even took the time to show me the defective parts and make sure I was happy with the repair. I will definitely be coming back when my cars need anything in the future.

Best shop ever! I was visiting Richmond from northern VA and my car battery died. they literally saved my life! all the other shops were either closed or said that they couldn't work on my car for some reason. this shop, however, told me to bring it in, even though it was after hours!!! everyone there is extremely friendly, they made me feel really comfortable. amazing service! i genuinely recommend everyone to go there.

After dealing with the nightmare that is DMV (I moved to Richmond, VA from Long Island, NY) I had low expectations for my inspection. The staff at Edward's went above and beyond for me! I had to move my appointment for an inspection 3 times and they were only pleasant about it - in fact they always answered the phone with a catch phrase and were always pleasant. Definitely got my dose of southern hospitality here, they were SO NICE and never tried to upsell me on anything, they did my inspection, passed me, and I was on my way for just $16. I am absolutely a happy camper and will be coming back whenever I need work done to my car!

I've found my new Go-To auto shop! I called my old shop of choice who wouldn't be able to see me for 3 more days, but had an urgent issue. I then called Edward's right afterwards who encouraged me to bring my vehicle in at my soonest convenience, even if it was technically "after hours" for them. Working in customer service for 10+ years, I found this very customer forward! They promptly took my vehicle in, called me within 24 hours with the issue (a $20 tire repair vs. charging me for a brand new tire), and had my car ready for pick up on time. Again, they worked around my schedule and allowed me to pick it up "after hours" - I highly recommend this honest, friendly, and convenient shop to ANY ONE! I know I will be in the future.

Great place that treats you fairly. Everyone there is friendly and they always had a bunch of cars being worked on. Large garage, small wait space but you don't wait long while there. They seem to underestimate how long it will take to get to your car but what mechanic doesn't. They have their own towing and is a good price too. I'll come back here again.

The mechanic and owner were incredible, super patient explaining to me the pros and cons of a used car they were inspecting for me and quoted really competitive prices for the repairs. Definitely won me over as a customer for my car

I cannot say enough good things about Edward s Auto Care!!! As a young female new to Richmond, I was weary to bring my car to a mechanic when it started making an usual noise. However, the people at Edward s are kind, caring, competent, reliable, efficient, timely and honest!! They also ensured that I got the best deal possible for the work that I needed done! Again, I am so grateful to have found then and would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I've be coming to these guys for a few years now. I'm not someone who can do my own mechanical work on my cars, so it is comforting to know Edward's Auto Care has my back. They always treat me right. Love the new location and plan to continue bringing my business back to them again and again.
