We live in Hathaway Towers a stones throw from Dance and absolutely love Billy and his staff. They re serviced both our cars and our RV. They are trustworthy, reliable, affordable and stand behind their work.Highly recommend Dance!!

Young ladies be aware of this place my daughter took her car there for tires and inspection. They said the left inner tie rod and was bad and only wanted to replace the one instead of both sides of the car, both inner and outer so I said I would do it myself, and I removed them, and they all four were equally worn not terribly bad shape, I m glad they pointed out the problem but all four should have been replaced They were gonna charge $250 just for the one and that is not a good way to repair cars because the one was not bad but all four should ve been replaced because if you put one strong part against the weaker ones then the other ones really wear out faster

Just got my car serviced here , the Staff is amazing. They went above and beyond on helping me figure out what was wrong with my car. I will be going back in the future. they show they care by the work they do, we need more shops like this.

Brought my car in to fix the TPMS on the front passenger tire. Charged me $250 ($125 for a new sensor and $125 for labor) and upsold me on a brake fluid change and antifreeze change for a total of $630.Four days later the TPMS warning was right back on for the exact same tire they charged me for. Called the shop and the guy hemmed and hawed about what could have caused that. When I tried to bring my car back the next morning he said he was super busy.I doubt they did any of the services they charged me for. Ripoff artists who will never get my business again

Dance is great. We have been taking our vehicles there for the past 5 years for inspections, minor and major repairs and they've always been fast and fair and remember my husband and our cars.I will say that it's because of these folks my husband is still able to use his little old beater Honda and that it passes inspection. They've done some significant repair work to keep that thing going. Every time we think it's finally time to lay that car to rest, they somehow manage to fix the problem and it's always less money than I was worried it would be.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I really love Dance! Thomas and the crew there are so respectable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. There moral standards and ethics are in tact. You can tell with their patience, they really want to help and aim for great service each time.

Only been here once but it was a good experience. Honest, fair pricing, and quickly got me back on the road. Stopped for a state inspection where i didn't make an appointment. They found a worn tie rod and gave me the option to buy it myself or have them get it (i work for a auto parts chain so i get a discount). Installed the part and put on my new sticker and on my way i went! I'll be giving them more business as a result. Plus, they're in the neighborhood which is nice!

I took my car to a local auto parts store to have my battery replaced. However, the car still wouldn t start. The guy who was working on my car recommended that I take it to Dance Automotive to have them check my starter. He called over to the shop to see if they could fit me in, which they did and even gave me a ride back to my office. Honestly, I was a little worried because I had never been to this auto shop before. Once I got back to my office I checked their reviews online and felt a little better because they had good ratings. After a couple of hours I received a call from Dance Automotive informing me that the battery I just purchased was bad. They had the auto parts store swap it out with another one and my car was good to go. These guys were honest and didn t try to take me to the bank with a repair that was not needed. I ve never had any work done by this auto shop but I will in the future simply because they are trustworthy.

First, it's hard to find a mechanic that you can trust. But then to find one you can trust that will also fix my car, often times same day, plus giving me a good price and cleaning it too is a dream! I started using Dance primarily because they were convenient to me but after visiting them several times in the past 2 years because of my ailing 2005 Honda I am ever so thankful to have them in Richmond, VA. And because I don't live far, they are kind enough to give me rides if need be. Thomas is great -- excellent customer service with a sense of humor and always explains what's needed to fix my car in a straight forward manner. I highly recommend!!

Our family has been coming here for decades. This is the most honest, trustworthy shop in town, with good people who own and run it. If you're a woman, you can trust them to be respectful and truthful with you. We've never been disappointed with our experiences here. Definitely try them out!

Don't go here to have work done on your brakes. Although a regular customer for years, this was the first time we have had our car detailed at Dance. Results were amazing, competitively price, and finished in less than a day. Highly recommend any services they offer.

Awful place, they plugged my tire and not even 20 minutes later it deflated again. Also misdiagnosed my car and told me it would cost $1000+ to fix it. Took it to another mechanic, they properly diagnosed my car problem and only charged me $150.

Went there for many years but I can't trust them anymore. They tried to charge me to correct something they didn't do correctly the last visit and got very rude when I called them on it. I can forgive a mistake but to dig in and get rude when it's their mistake? Not when they're asking me to trust them and pay! It felt like they saw an easy mark and tried to get money for nothing. And that's how you lose trust and entire family of customers like me and mine. Do better, Dance.

I ve taken my car here a few times when making an appointment at the dealer for little things like a state inspection would have been a pain. They are friendly and fast. I don t feel like I m being cheated or talked down to. My husband has also taken his cars here for years. Definitely recommend.

I live only a few blocks from Dance and have always had good experiences. Thomas up front is a straight shooter and he generally can perform work within a day's notice. I have had four vehicles receive work and the prices have always been fair and the quality of workmanship has been superb. My family highly recommends Dance Service Center.

I found Dance online looking for a place to get my car inspected. They made an apt for me the next day in the morning. I dropped off my car and it was ready in 2 hours. Very nice staff and an overall good experience.

Lied to me about a bulb I know they didn't replace, and charged me 100 for "headlight restoration", still had dried bugs and looked like they had been wiped with a dirty shop rag. I had been coming here for years. Lost a customer in me today.

I've been going to dance since I first moved to richmond five years ago, they are right down the street from me. Although I did think they were ripping me off at first, I was wrong. After taking my car to other shops I realized dance knows what they are talking about. I think they are honest and their work has been great. Recommend for anyone looking for a good reliable
