We are a rescue pet transport who was hit by a bmw on 95N 45 pets were on board thankfully all ok and these guys and Gal came to our aid. Not only did they tow us but they put all our pets inside the air conditioned hallways and stayed open for us Robert and Dawn were amazing to work with. Dawn helped us with walking the dogs and playing with the puppies and cleaning . Robert was kind enough to stay in the office well after his shift while closed so we could stay. This place did not have to do any of this. Very good hearted people here. There were others who were involved I can t remember their names but the whole crew is great. Wish we met on better terms. Y all get our (transporters) business should any of us need a tow.

Clay is the man with the plan, super accommodating, and a great truck driver. If there was anyone to tow any of my personal vehicles, he'd be the first I'd call to ask. Couldn't ask for better customer service.

Man, I can t say enough about driver Clay and the intimidator got me out of a bind stuck on a fuel pump today with my fuel tanker. He backed my entire truck and load up out of the fuel pump area and across traffic to get me out of a bad situation cant thank you enough Clay great job, great skills very professional, very courteous five stars all the way.

These people made my day horrible, they were very disrespectful and do not know how to talk to or how to treat a customer. They said that only one person is allowed back and I couldn t have anyone help me carry my items. They would not even help me with my items that were stuck in the trunk and I was unable to take pictures of my granddaughters car seat in order to get her a new one. I would highly urge you not to call this company.

BEWARE!! Charged $990 to tow our truck 10 miles to the Truckstop!! Wouldn t put drive shaft back in truck that THEY removed!! Had my driver walk back and forth to truck stop because they refused to accept the EFS checks we had in truck even though truck stop had same checks. Tow truck driver said the checks were old checks and expired. Called EFS customer service they stated checks don t expire. Companies like this prey on companies and people when they are in need!! Even though companies like this profit off of others misfortune, you don t have to price gouge !!

This was an unusual situation from the start and our experience with Capital Garage could not have been better. We had a tire blow out on a boat trailer on I-95 and the trailer frame was bent making the trailer unusable. Joni in the office was extremely helpful dispatching the truck and helping us find a place to tow it. Jordan, the driver, was friendly & efficient. He very carefully loaded the boat and trailer on the rollback, then once we got to the destination he made some great suggestions which ultimately saved us quite a bit of money. He was very patient while we worked through a couple of scenarios and made the necessary arrangements. Perhaps the best part of the entire experience was watching them flawlessly launch the boat from the trailer that was on the rollback.

Our Dog Rescue Transport team bringing dogs to our rescue were hit by another car and totaled the van. They came and helped the transport company in the middle of the night and all the dogs! Thank you so much for your efficiency and kindness! We got the dogs safe and sound

Good customer service. Drivers are good and a lot of the senior experienced drivers have done a great job on accidents. Good rigging skills. They have kept kept accidents that were bad from becoming worse. They were able to recover equipment with minimal damage.

We had 31 dogs on a rescue transport that was involved in a hit and run accident and these guys came to the rescue! They opened their place of business and provided the space to house the precious cargo out of the heat and helped care for them until relief transport arrived. Thank you so much for your kindness!

My son and his girlfriend broke down on I95 around 11PM. Was able to call and get them to tow his car quickly. They took great care of them and even drove them to a hotel to stay until we could get down there to pick them up the next morning. Long story short, they assisted me in fixing our car and we were back on the road. Super people and very caring. Would recommend them in a pinch. Thanks guys!Service: Car towing

We need more angels like this in the world!! After our rescue transport was involved in a hit-and-run, capital garage was the towing company we called. Not only did they get the truck to their lot safely, They allowed all of the rescue dogs on board to be transferred inside their air condition facility while new transportation was being secured. Now I call that above and beyond!!! Thank you Capital for your hard work and kindness!

This towing company needs a 5 star rating. They stepped up to the plate and helped when transport vehicle got hit in VA this past weekend. They did an excellent job of helping with the vehicle and wonderful with animals. Sincere thank you

Great customer service, my car was brought here after totalling it in an accident. Very helpful staff they were very helpful with my insurance as well since this was my first accident.

The manager was an absolute, *as*hole. He would not work with us at all. The first room we went into the thermostat was broken and wouldn't go below 78. He did switch us to another room, which also wasn't nearly worth the money. We chose to stay another two nights, and he jacked the prices up on us. I would understand that if it were a Friday or Saturday, but it was Wednesday for crying out loud. Hotels don't have fluctuating rates from day-to-day. Absolute worst hotel experience of my life!

This is the most awful and rude customer service around! They are nasty money grabbing people! The worst experience ever!!! Do not call them for assistance or when you go to get your car out they charge prices that are outrageous!! All of the reviews of this place that are bad are exactly true about this company! Horrible business sense and lack any human skills to assist customers!!! This business is the worst I would rather push a car home then call these people for help!!! Rude, nasty people that only care about making money! You all need to learn how to treat people that come into your business! No care or concern! Do not do business with this towing company!!!! If you want to keep your money and not be robbed blind I suggest you go elsewhere!!!! I had to give it a one star rating only to be able to post this however.....CAPITAL GARAGE IS A DOUBLE AND TRIPLE NEGATIVE ZERO and TRASH!!!!! Better Business Bureau will be contacted because basically you are ripping people off that work hard for their money!!!!Service: Car towing

Got into a car accident on the 195 overpass.State police called a tow truck for me.Initially after speaking to the tow truck driver, he confirmed when I asked that the tow was 175 complete to the yard with a 45 dollar a day storage fee.That I understood.What I don't understand is how when the tow truck driver confirmed that the tow is 175 COMPLETE to the yard. You still add on a fuel surcharge and a 50 dollar "tow" instead using the term "accident recovery" for the 175-dollar charge.They prey on people who are at their most vulnerable with these predatory charges.I recommend any other company than these swindlers.Service: Car towing

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. When I called, they initially said they did not have my car. After calling numerous places, they finally said they did have my car.The tow was initially $175, but they charged me a lot fee. When I asked if I could pick it up, they said they were going to charge me $45 to send someone to the shop since they were closed or I could pay the lot fee of another day. So either way, the price was $265. When I showed up, they charged me $75 to tow the car to the parking lot. So I paid $340 altogether.This is the most corrupt company full of unhelpful people trying to make an easy dollar. Their customer service is terrible. After paying, we were forced to wait an hour for them to finally tow the car to the parking lot because no one wanted to do it. Absolutely ridiculous. Their practices should be illegal and they should be put of business.Service: Car towing

I didn't visit this place I called it for information and even when the employee knew I was not buying anything and was only seeking information he gladly helped me and gave me suggestions. I will definitely use them when the need arises. Companies do not realize how important it is to not have rude employees. Employees can make or break your business depending on the attitude they display...

Office smelled horrible, it was disgusting. Staff was very unprofessional and hostile; you could instantly pick up a racist vibe from there. They made it extremely difficult for me to grab my belongings from my car, simply because they could. You'd be better off pushing your car home than dealing with these people. If you like cowardly, low class individuals that act like they are going to jump you if you're a person of color, then this trash heap is for you!

My experience was like no other. The driver was literally the man. He literally put a 8000 gallon tank into a garage bay with a 32 ft roll back and I could not have asked for a better company to do it. They were super friendly and literally did the impossible that most companies refused to do for us. Thanks again!!!

I was charged $265 for a 10 minute tow where they charged me $45 a day lot fee even though they were closed saturday and sunday and i couldnt pickup my car. Then they charged me an extra $75 to pull my car off the impound lot back into the parking lot for mw to take it. This should be illegal, bunch of crooks.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

My sons car got a flat tire on Saturday. He was young and and didn't realize he could have called someone to help him fix his tire. He left his car that night, came back in the am and it was towed. Since it was now Easter Sunday, you would not allow him to get his car and just racked up more charges. $230 to pick it up on Mondsy. Shame on the you and the Virginia State Police. People are hurting for money and work during this pandemic and your company just saw $ signs. I hope Karma comes back to you.

Just wanted to thank Capital Garage for helping my husband out when he broke down along the highway in Richmond, Va area. They towed him into their shop, and since he was from out of town, they provided a ride to a nearby Motel to spend the night until the part came in the next day to do the repair. They also came and picked him up from the Motel and brought him back to his truck. Mechanics fixed the problem, did a great job, and got him back on the road. Appreciate your hospitality which is hard to find these days.

Thorough with inspections yet their customer service wasn't the best. When I called in advancd about availability, I was met with a rushed and rude, "I don't know, you'll just have to come in". I was calling to know if I would've been able to make it to work on time. And the office could be a little bit cleaner.

People lied to me and withheld information from me in order to collect their $45 a day storage fee. Never use this place, you d be better off pushing your car then getting these people to tow it. Awful people and awful place, I d rate them negative if I could.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

The first thing a company must have is customer service and good treatment in any situation ... Sometimes in life you don't know who you might meet on your way, but you treated badly two friends and brother drivers who had an accident when they worked humbly ...... I just want you to know that these are going to be the last people who are going to mistreat and humiliate because, until this bad treatment is finished, we will not stop sending documents to the government or When Expressing. .. be courteous and maintain professionalism andI just want you to know that treating people badly has its consequences and you will live them because the complaint will reach the state and if necessary to the white house where we will ask for a review of this company ..... In the previous comments We can see that this repeats itself continuously and this is the last time ...... I will hear from you very soon. HAPPY DAY
