Tesla S and X Performance Owners - Do you need a coolant delete manifold installed on your large drive unit? If you are like me with my P85D - the answer is yes! I could not find anyone in the area willing to touch my Tesla. Luckily, the awesome folks at Bimmer Rescue were were willing to do it! All Performance rear drive units in S and X have a fatal flaw that were the coolant seal for the rotor fails allowing coolant into the inverter. After enough coolant leaks, you will have a high voltage isolation fault and you'll need a new motor from Tesla that no longer has a liquid cooled rotor. There is an aftermarket fix but NO other shop was interested in the work.Bimmer Rescue did an excellent job and they are super nice folks to work with. It's awesome to have a Tesla independent shop in the area. If you need work done to your Tesla, I would not hesitated to come back or recommend the fine folks at Bimmer Rescue!

Recently changed my vehicle service to Bimmer Rescue after many years with the local Mercedes dealership. I needed some service recently and had heard about Bimmer Rescue so I decided to get a second opinion and quote. From my initial inquiry for pricing and subsequent commitment to have the service done was a breeze. From the first phone call to the completion of service was absolutely stellar. Top notch customer service. Going forward I will be bringing both our vehicles to Bimmer Rescue. I highly recommend them.

I appreciated how Members of Bimmer Rescue Staff responded when I asked questions. I will be having my car serviced with this company again. The Staff is very knowledgeable about high-end vehicles and that s a huge plus for me. Also, I was referred by my brother-in-law. Thank you Bimmer Rescue.

Bummer Rescue was great! They got me in for my inspection and oil change the next day. They communicated what had to be done and their recommendations for what could be done within a few hours. They did the work and Emmy car was ready the same day. Payment was quick and easy, so was doo off and pick up. They were so nice and easy to work with and they do quality work every time !

I found this place off google and needed my brakes replaced. They offered to do an overall health check on my car. Agreed and I m glad I did. They found several things that needed fixed! They handled all my car warranty stuff and I didn t have to make any phone calls at all. They also offered me a loaner car which was super helpful given I m not from around the area and needed a vehicle while they were working on mine!! Bimmer Rescue is definitely customer driven from my personal experience!

I am grateful for my Bimmer Rescue! I was passing through the Richmond Virginia area when the temperature gauge on my classic BMW 5-series went into the danger zone. Skip made sure I had a reliable tow, a thorough evaluation and quick, clear report once they received the car. I am incredibly impressed by their fairness, professionalism and communication! I would not hesitate to have them work on my car again when I'm in the area.

They are very transparent and open about issues with your vehicle, even though the labor is on the pricier side, they said work that s done has a longer warranty and it s quality work. Everyone was super nice and the autoshop felt very homey and comfortable.Update: I got my car repaired by them and they are the absolute best. They offered to get me an Uber to get home while they worked on my car and they stayed in communication with me. I was able to prepay for the work done and Skip was so nice and gave me a discount on my services. They are my go to place for any work to be done on my mini

I ve been to see the guys at Bimmer Rescue a few times and they are always professional, nice to deal with, and most importantly do excellent work. I have a 2018 Audi and despite their reputation for doing BMW work, they are equally good with Audis. Highly recommend!

Great people and great service with reasonable prices! Went for oil change, and found out my spark plugs were old. Thanks to Bimmer Rescue my X1 is feeling like brand new after their service.

Truthfully any auto repair shop comes down to competence of the mechanics and the service people. Getting service done here is like having a friend as a mechanic. Skipp and Ian could not be easier to work with. Knowledgeable, friendly and very good at explaining what s going on with my vehicle. I also like the update motive that they send out after inspecting my vehicle before they begin working. Photos to help explain what they looked at is a great touch.

Very disappointed by the quality of work I saw done from this place. My boyfriend brought his car here after being recommended by his dad. Over time, instead of fixing the problem, they effectively totalled my boyfriends mini Cooper (which was his pride and joy)Every visit it kept being something else, something else, even replaced several things under the hood until we blew a head gasket on the way to Charlottesville (45 min drive)After towing it to the closest dealership they made it pretty clear that this could have been prevented under the proper care (looking at you bimmer rescue)The car was totalled and it was very sad especially with all the memories had in the car and for it to be gone so suddenly.Anyway all this being said, I'd advise anyone against starting new business here as they seem to only jive with their regulars that are "car dudes" and know all the ins and outs of these specific cars. It's a very "bro" sort of community and if you don't look they way they want you to look then they will probably not actually fix your car to just keep you coming back and spending more money with them.Totally untrustworthy and essentially used weaponized incompetence to total my boyfriends car.I at least know my boyfriend and his father will absolutely no longer be patrons of this establishmentMore like BUMMER rescue, amirite

Ian and Skip are both incredibly nice and really go the extra mile for their customers. They paid for an Uber to drive me back to my home after I dropped off my car, provided a reliable loaner car so i could get around and even helped me when my car seat was giving me trouble. They also gave me a discount. I am very satisfied will definitely be going back.

Best service in Virginia as always, very thorough inspection with pictures and everything. Only trustworthy place if you care about what you put in your bmw. Rather come here for experienced specialists than a dealers rushed job

They ve bailed me out of mechanical issues in the past when I ve needed to have the car towed there. The most recent experience left me feeling indifferent about them and now I m not sure if I will make the journey there from Midlothian again. Was reached out to by the new manager saying that had empty slots they were looking to fill. It just happened that there has been an issue with the cars vertical headlight sensors so I decided why not. After their inspection, there were a few other issues that popped up and before you know it I was looking at a 3K bill which included fixes for brake lines, the headlight sensors and connections, an oil filter gasket leak, and directional tires on the new wheels that were put on the wrong side of the car.As I understood it, the wheels needed to come off anyways to address the brake line issues but I will still charged for them addressing the issue of the wheels on the wrong side of the car. Not faulting them there as it was a problem I suppose. Still, it rubbed me the wrong way.After picking up the car, I noticed the driver side floor mat was left dirty from the technicians going in and out of the car. No floor mat or courtesy vacuum from the service. The driver seat was not returned to the saved memory location. Finally, after paying the bill and turning on the car, I was still greeted with a warning for low windshield wiper fluid. That just annoyed me. I know it wasn t their problem and it was pre-existing, issue but the dealership would have topped it off as a courtesy. Little things like that go a long way for customer service.They are still a great shop and I would recommend them for those needing BMW service outside of the dealership in the Richmond area, but for me, personally, I will not got out of my way to take my car there as there are other options closer to where I live.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

Came here for a wheel alignment. And they overcharged me than any other company. It was close to 300 dollars and that was with the mangers discount. Once I told him I m wasn t going to do it for that price he s asked how much do I usually pay. And I told him around 190/200 at NTB (I usually get it done at bmw but I just wanted to see what lie he was going to come up with). The new manager instantly said no no no. That s too low. Because with bmw you have to connect it to the computer otherwise it will mess up the cars computer. I processed to get it done as I travel so far and had my son with me. If I hadn t wasted my time and gas driving all the way to midlo I would have left. NEVER GOING BACK. After I paid and drove off. I noticed that when I put my steering wheel center it would go left. If I wanted to go straight the wheel had to be turned just a bit. They couldn t even alignment my car to its perfect center.

Bought my 650 I hear on accident. My expansion tank cracked on my way to Washington DC on a Friday talking about bad timing. I called Bimmer Rescue and talked to Evan and he had my part ordered and delivered by 1150 am. I got to the shop about 1200 pm and I was gone by 1:48 pm back on my journey. And they weren t Too expensive either for a euro vehicle repair shop. Great job Evan we will be back.

These guys tried to scam me during a Virginia state inspection to the tune of $2000+. Stay away. 0 stars. They claimed my shock was leaking. This in itself, if it were true, is not a failure for inspection by the Va law. Per the law, the shocks have to be inoperable to be rejected. Yet they rejected me for the inspection and wanted $1800 to replace a shock plus charges for alignment and tried to get me to replace two shocks at this price each. I immediately took the car to the dealership who inspected the car and shocks and it passed the Va inspection. They advised this is not the first time they have seen cars come in from this place with bogus inspection rejections and screwed up repairs. They advised me to contact Va state police safety division. I contacted the Va state police who also did an independent verification on the condition of the shocks and they confirmed nothing wrong with the shocks. The police informed me they would handle this from there and pay a visit to this shop. I have no further info from there on what, if anything, was done. I will never use this shop again and you should not either.

Visited bimmer rescue for the first time was happy with service workers and results, also like the concept of free uber rides home should you have to drop off vehicle. Pricing not to far off from dealer though but very happy with work done. Work was performed quickly, needed 1 other job done but was not done because of price, have a cheaper quote but not a local shop. I would and have recommended my friends with European cars to check them out.Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto A/C replacement, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

My husband and I took our vehicle to Bimmer Rescue and were met with great customer service from the Bimmer Rescue team, especially by Skip.My husband has a 2011 335is and needed the HPFP done as well as the fuel control module, and Skip and the team got the work taken care of and our vehicle back in time before the holiday weekend. I have been absolutely blown away by the customer service, in-depth knowledge, and overall professionalism I ve received from my visit at Bimmer Rescue. From the ease of scheduling to the rapid completion of my service, this has been the most enjoyable and fulfilling experience I ve ever had, by far.Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond in order to accommodate both my cars needs as well as my comfort as I waited is something I ve never experienced before which is exactly why Bimmer Rescue will be the only place I bring my Benz.What s most impressive, even more so than the unmatched exceptional service my car received, are the people themselves. Had a sudden suspected oil leak - they got me in fast, even having a lot on their plate. Very thorough, concerned, professional, and honest. Shouldn't have to say that really (IMHO) but I've been burned elsewhere.Turned it around fast too, give the service required!Great job, thanks guys!
