Brian is one of the best mechanics I've found - very personable, knowledgeable and a great problem solver. I won't take my truck to anyone else. The front desk staff is great as well - Will is always happy to see me and cheerful no matter how many hours he has been working!! I always wait for my truck in the lobby and the ONLY suggestion I have is to upgrade the vending and coffee services.. Merry Christmas!

Bill Talley is where we take all our vehicles. They do a great job. Always get us in as quickly as possible, and prices are reasonable. Will always takes good care of us.

Brought my car in for brakes and an alignment, they were super fast and the staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend coming here to have your car serviced! I d give them more than five stars if I could!

I stopped on because the low pressure tire alarm came on in my Tacoma. Upon inspection, I was told there was a nail in the driver's rear tire and that incidentally the front tires were in imminent need of replacement. O declined the upsell and accepted the patch for the rear tire. When I left, I returned THREE times that day to say that the tire alert had not reset....even after the 5-10 miles the shop said was needed. This was not my experience with thos vehicle and I shared that plus my concern that in addition to the rear tire, tje front tire looked low to me visually. I was auured all tires were fine and normal pressures and told to "come back next week if the light doesn't go off."48 hours later I was stranded on the interstate by a total flat of the driver's side front tire. After AAA risked life and limb to put on the spare, I went to the Mechanicsville Toyota. I needed a replacement tire for the flat, the BROKEN tire pressure indicator from the plug performed by this business cost me hundreds of dollars, and I was assured repeatedly that I did NOT need any new tires as all the others were practically new.So...1. Did an incomplete assessment and repair of my tires.2. Broke an expensive sensor during the removal and replacement od the plugged tire.3. Tried to fraudulently upsell me on tires that I did not need.Would I recommend this company?I would and will heartily recommend that all potential customers stay as far away as possible form this shop.

Will has always been great to work with. I am always able to get an appointment, and he is always so helpful! There are definitely closer places to get my car worked on, but I will ALWAYS go to this location!

I was 5 hours from home and I had just bought a new F150 from a dealership in North Carolina that morning. My wipers quit working and it was pouring down rain. I stopped at Tally s and the service department went above and beyond to help get my wipers working again and get me back on the road home. The young man working on my truck was all about taking care of my problem. Their service was awesome !

They're always friendly. Helpful And they do not try to get over on you. And make you pay for stuff. You really don't need. They will tell you when something is coming up that you might want to take care of. Great place to take your car to Kevin and Will a very nice. Gentleman Keep up the good work.

I took my car to Bill Talley Collision Center after I was hit from behind. They made the entire process easy and painless. They were extremely accommodating with my schedule from getting the initial estimate to getting the actual work done. My car was in and out of the shop within 3 days and looked like new. They even washed the car and cleaned and vacuumed the inside. The service was great, and when they tell you you're a part of the Bill Talley Ford family, they mean it. If I ever need body work done to any of my vehicles again, this is the only place I'll go.

The workmanship of the body shop was the best I've seen. My entire experience, from beginning to end was always pleasent. When I called for updates, I was always greeted with politeness and concern. If your car or truck is involved in a crash, I highly recommend bringing it here. They will put it back together right!

I use to really like these folks until my last purchase. I feel management here communicates issues very poorly with their staff when you have a problem. I feel you get brushed off and ignored. They also communicate to the customer poorly with service updates on how long your vehicle is going to be in the shop for.

My fiance was rear ended by a hit and run driver and immediately following the accident we had the car towed to Bill Talley Collision Center. The car seemed to be driveable, but the check engine light came on and it was in limp mode.Doug Sipe was our Collision Consultant that took our case and at first was communicating with me well. That was until I signed the approval or waiver statement. From that point I would leave a voicemail and an entire day would go by. The following morning I left another voicemail and it wasn't until the afternoon that I even received a phone call.I explained that the check engine light came on, it went into limp mode, and those were the only reasons we had the car towed there. He claimed it would be no problem that they would look into it. Next phone call, "oh yea, let me see what the guys said about that." When I picked up my car, he told me it was a "non-issue," to which I took as a loose wire - which was what I originally thought it was. Here we are a few days later the car went into limp mode and the check engine light back on. I called and had to speak with someone else, as my blood was boiling. The other gentleman (I think his name was Jeff) had me bring it in the next day. They hooked it up to the diagnostic machine and gave me the codes it produced. At that point Doug saw me in the waiting room, I was avoiding making eye contact. The last thing I wanted to do was let the other customers there know what was going on. I work in the service industry and I wouldn't wish a "customer like that" ontoanyone. It does no good for either party.Well, Doug got involved again, told me he would submit the findings to the insurance company and see what they say. He even emailed me once he said he submitted it to the insurance company.I guess it was a big mistake for me to hit reply, but I couldn't let it go. I wanted to be honest, fair, and most importantly just to be heard. I let him know that I was not trying to be a pain, but that I did mentioned this issue to him repeatedly. I mentioned that we only got the car towed there due to the check engine light coming on and yet now - here we were. His response was that they provided me with a free diagnostic check for me and to not reach out to them anymore regarding this issue. He told me I needed to take the car to a mechanic, meanwhile they have a mechanical shop connected to theirs. He told me I was to reach out to the insurance company regarding this issue. Oh and to please reach out to them with any future body work issues or claims.Telling your customers off like that and keeping them in the dark is not the way that you succeed. In all honesty I feel like I have been lied to and taken advantage of.I have now talked with the insurance company, alas, turns out Doug never even submitted the supplemental claim about the issue with the engine at all. They have no record of any further communication from Bill Talley Collision Center nor from Doug. I have been waiting one day shy of a week for nothing! Just one more lie.On a lighter note both receptionists were great! I feel like the administration staff needs a good shake up! One of the ladies that was helping another customer needed one of the gentlemen in the other room while I was there. She called out to him three or four separate times. From the other room all you can hear is laughter and "I'm busy right now, give me a minute." He never came out the whole time I was there and you could see the frustration in the other customers face. I hope they know their customers can hear them talking just a room away.If you want to support a business like this that is your choice, but I would suggest taking your vehicle and money elsewhere. Somewhere else that will actually value your money being spent there and appreciate you as acustomer.

I ran over something on the interstate while passing by Richmond and Doug of Bill Talley Automotive SAVED me. The customer service here is top knotch. They had excellent protective measures for the current pandemic. If you're ever in the area, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Not happy with the manager of this location I wanted to purchase a suv they were asking $17,000 for it . I went to look at it and I see that it needed tires so I called and spoke with someone explaining that I had already been qualified for the suv with my credit union and I was ready to purchase but I was concerned that the suv needed tires, I was placed on hold and the young lady came back to the phone and stated the tires have passed inspection per our standards and the manager said he can sell you some tires at a discount. I just responded thanks and have a nice day..

They say they work on all brands of vehicles. They should change that to we kinda work on all vehicles. I asked about them servicing my Mercedes and I was told that they can only do basic things such as oil change, brakes, tires etc. I thought I finally found somewhere close to me to service my car. Nope.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience with the Laburnum location. Mechanicsville location is much friendlier and receptive.
