I just went up there on Nov 14 2023 and I'm an Uber driver who drives on the weekend and I had a passenger throw up in my car. I wasn't sure what I was going to do, but I looked this place up on google. I was a little worried about what to expect but I felt like I was in good hands. I got the reconditioning for my car, and I was just hoping they could clean everything up. To my surprise the next day, my car looked better then when I picked it up from the dealer, no cap, it had that new car smell in it all over again. 5 Stars hands down.

I have been going to RPM for almost 20 years; they have tinted 5 cars for me. Excellent quality and amazing installation; thanks again Kyle! This is the 2nd set of wheels that i have purchased from them and they look great. I really appreciate the recommendation to paint the calipers; the yellow looks perfect! Very attentive service; and I appreciate Blane and Thomas doing research and communicating with me while we picked out the wheels and scheduled appointments. Great experience as always!

I had bought my dream car Lexus RC in February and was in the market to find a good window tinting spot. I had a couple of good friends that have told me about this place as well as coworkers who have heard great things. So I decided to give it a shot. I talked to Kyle about what I was looking for and he knew exactly what I wanted and told me that I would love it once he finishes it. When I came to pick my car up. As I watched it back out of the shop. Sheesh it was like I got a brand new dream car all over again! He did an amazing job on it! I look back at my car everyday after I park up wherever I m at. I can see why his shop was voted number 1 in the US last year! Thanks Kyle for the amazing job! I highly recommend this shop to anyone. It s pure high quality work and professionalism!

If you re looking for a honest review, this should be a reference since other posts were out dated. I talk about the price and what you re paying for. Overall I hope my review helps you. I am giving this place 5 stars they were informative, pricing was fair, professional finish, and customer service.When I called in they were very informative about the material of the tint film they ll use. The benefiting factors about it. Especially since it s ceramic tint and not regular tint material. It won t fade, blemish, bubble, or go purple. Your interior will be fine, the car won t be as hot since it ll reduce the heat. They don t use a knife to cut the film, but a laser so your windows won t be damaged. Although shade was thrown at local competitors, they gave suggestions to alternative vendors who are reputable if the price is out of your budget. I called 4 other places and decided to do it with Advanced Tint. For reasons I ll explain below.I was worried about the price of the tint job, but to be completely fair it s the material and skill you re paying for. I ended up paying a price of $500 for a ceramic tint job on my coupe. It only took 2.5 hours, which they were busy and able to squeeze me in their tight schedule. To be fair after researching ceramic tint for 3 windows, the price ranges from $400-$800+. They did the whole car for $500. And they reassured me about if anything happens to the tint during the cars lifetime (still in my possession) they ll replace the film. So you have to be considerate about that. Because other places can guarantee you a lifetime warranty. But it s the type of material and craftsmanship they re doing. So if you re willing to be okay with bubbles, fading tint, or a bad job that s the price you pay. And you ll more likely keep going back since the lifetime guarantee is in your advantage. Which is out the way and hassle. Great things don t come cheap, and cheap things don t come great. Keep that in mind.In conclusion, after plenty of research, the price you re paying will be well worth the material and skill. So it s on you to do thinking & research before you decide to pay a pricey amount. If you truly think it s well worth it in the long run. Which it is.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I would not use this business. Called and talked to the owner looking for a price quote to tint my vehicles windows. I was told normally its 250 but they have a sale for 200. I get there and we had a miscommunication, they thought i only needed two windows done, when i needed four. Somehow the price then went from $200 for two windows to $730 for 4 windows. When I mentioned I had a quote from a competitor for $250, the owner immediately spent the rest of his time not selling his product but bashing the company saying they have terrible reviews (ironically they have a 4.9 on google and Advanced has a 4.4). Immediately went into slick salesman mode. If you have to trash your competitors with lies rather than tell me why your product is worth more, youve already lost me. All I have to say is WOW. From customer service to quality I give this place a 10/10. It was my first time getting tint and they knew actually what I wanted, and I couldn t be more happy. Shoutout to Kyle and Blaine for being so welcoming and personable. I will definitely be coming back. They will go out of their way to make your experience the best it can be. Ok this place was a bad experience. I went to get my car tinted which should take 2 hours, this took 6 hours and 45 minutes.. Kyle thought he was giving me a great deal from $399 to $299 (just for installation whole thing came to about $450) which is the biggest rip off I ve heard. But he assured me the the quality they do is unbeatable. I can tell you it s very beatable. As soon as a got my car I saw a giant scratch in the tint on the passenger window. The back window tint was cut uneven and off centered and easily noticeable. The corner were not tinted all the way either. For someone who talks about being The best tint job on the east coast I ve had better jobs done in personal garage in northern VA much cheaper, faster and efficient. I would give them 2 stars but a 6 hour 45 minute tint job is beyond me.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I've not had any car windows tinted in a very long time. 15 years or more to be exact. My first experience in all that time was here and I could not be more happy than I am. Ivan took care of it, did a fantastic job and my car looks the part. It literally looks like a factory tint job; it's that good. They had it done same day and the price is right. I'm so happy with the job they did on my Abarth that I'm having them do my GTI. Highly, highly recommended place.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I am very dissatisfied with this place. I was told repeatedly by Kyle that they are #1 in Richmond and their quality is the best yet I had to have my tent replaced twice due to bubbles and knicks. The third time was NOT a charm as I still have a small knick on each window yet I m so over this place that I just gave up and accepted it.One of the owners, Kyle, flat out lied to me during my first visit. He talks too much and is unclear and misleading so be careful with him, get it in writing. Another owner Mary was very helpful and professional initially with my issue, but she and Another owner Thomas both assured me that my tent would be good the third time as this never happens and that was not the case. I did not notice the blemishes until the film dried over the 3-5 day wait period.I should have known this place was not worth my money when I attempted to pull off the first time I came due to the overpricing and Kyle literally ran after my car to tell me he would lower the price. I saw him waving his hands in my rearview mirror. I should have left right then as that was a red flag.The only person that seemed to be honest was Blaine and that is who my 1 star is for. Save your money for a professional place that values their customers and produces quality work every time.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I brought my 2010 Mazda3 iTouring 4 door sedan to get it tinted at the end of June. Kyle is the expert on tint for this company and the guy knows his stuff. I was initially hesitant because the price was much higher than I was hoping to pay. But with everything that this shop offers you they absolutely give you piece of mind. A lifetime warranty is included. Kyle even showed up where I work and picked my car up so it could be tinted while I was there, and he even picked me up and took me to pick the car up once it was finished. The finished product was simply amazing! I feel like I am driving a brand new car. It is much much cooler even with the extreme heat that Richmond has been experiencing this summer. And all the people that I show the car to think that it came from the Mazda factory that way!Great job all around and I am completely happy with the job they did. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone interested in upgrading their vehicle.Skip the other tint shops and go here first!

I recently upgraded my clunker to my dream Mini Cooper. I have always wanted a tint, but didn't know where to go or what to ask for. I was scared I would end up with one of the purple,bubbled or peeling tints I see driving around Richmond. So, I started to pay attention and once you start looking for examples of Great tint jobs in RVA, you will see the RPM stickers on each of their windows. Curious, I checked with a few of my friends(who love their cars more than they love their wives) and they said "ONLY" go to Advanced Window Tint and they would do my new baby good. I called Advanced Window Tint and one of the staff members answered the phone, I explained that I didn't know what I wanted, and they said bring it in the morning we'll go over the options, colors and styles and we will have it done before you get off work. I drove to Advanced window Tint which is also RPM and the staff greeted me with a smile and with great energy, it is very obvious they take great pride in their work.Kyle in great detail went over all the options of shades and varieties (they have an extensive amount too). We decided that I was going to go with a CIR ceramic tint. I was hesitant to turn over my keys to my baby, but immediately Kyle seemed like a trustworthy man, and his vast knowledge shows he is one who really cares about both cars and his reputation. When I returned to get my car, I was jumping and shrieking with excitement like a 12 year old girl. It was perfect, fast, far better than I expected. THE COLORS ARE PERFECT, THE TEXTURE IS PERFECT, THE APPLICATION IS PERFECT & THE SERVICE CAN NOT BE BEAT. I drive 1.5 -hour trip on 64 a few times a week, and that night, I felt safer than ever before. Before the tint, other cars blinded me with their bright lights in my rear-view and I end up flipping it over, the tint fixed this 100%! I like most women, spend 100's of $$$ on skin care, and this tint provides 99% great protection from the sun. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take your car to Advanced Window Tint , trust them and let them do there thing. you won't regret it - I SURE DIDN'T!

Just got my car tinted and I can definitely say it was worth every penny!!! It looks so damn good, even better than I expected! Kyle was super nice and explained to me everything that he was going to do, which totally put me at ease. You can tell he is very confident in his ability and genuinely likes what he does. He is the real deal!This was my very first tint job and I'm so glad I came to this place. I HIGHLY recommend these dudes. I will definitely be back there when I get another car. You get what you pay for and then some!

This is the third car that Advanced Window Tint has done for me over the past 10 years and obviously I love their work. Kyle, the owner, actually listens to what you want, makes suggestions based on your ideas and is enthusiastic about the quality of service they provide. In talking with him I discovered other material options for tint and ended up using a ceramic tint on my Audi that not only filters more UV but also has a slight blue cast to it versus the grey tint you usually see. Love the look the tint has with the Sepang blue of my car. The attention to details and flawless application is the best reason to pay a little more but get the best from theses guys.

I've had 4 cars tinted in my lifetime and this was BY FAR the best tint job I've ever had. There is almost no gap at all (like 1/16") and the back window -which has a printed antenna, a brake light, and defrost lines- is perfect.I'd read another review before contacting Advanced Window Tint so I knew it would not be cheap which I appreciated knowing in advance. It was the most I've ever spent on a tint job, but go back to my first sentence. Kyle worked me in quickly and picked a spot-on smoke grey to go with my black car. I notice a big difference in heat reduction. And oh did I mention the tint job is perfect?Very satisfied customer. Spend the money here. You won't be disappointed.

Kyle does a great job but it is way overpriced. I should have taken my vehicle down to VA Beach where they give you a lifetime warranty and for a better price. I took my last car to va beach and they did a great job probably better than Kyle. I would stay clear of this place there are way other better tint jobs for the a lower cost so do your homework and just be warned they will charge you about 500 dollars.

I had the all over window tint service with a windshield sun strip applied to my 2018 RAV4 as a Christmas present. Getting an estimate and scheduling the service were very simple and straightforward processes. The staff is very attentive and so far I feel confident in my choice, believing that I got a high quality service that enhances my vehicle in many ways. I m looking forward to more sun protection and keeping my ride cool this summer with the added privacy my tint provides. I WILL ADMIT IT!!!. I was the complete definition of a skeptic. I had my reservations just because I am new to the area and did not understand the complete logistics of car window tinting, pricing etc. Needless to say I took a chance and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. I trusted them with my Benz and they did an exceptional job! Clean neat and just absolutely beautiful. They were honest, knowledgeable, efficient and the shuttle most definitely put the icing on the cake. I could run my errands while getting my Benz serviced. For anyone looking for exceptional window tinting look no further!! Will most def come back to pick out some custom rims no questions asked!!Thank you for making my Benz better then before!

Just had my 17 mustang GT tinted and by far one of the freshest, most professional jobs I've ever gotten on any of my rides. Kyle was honest, down to earth and def recommend them on any and I mean any of your upgrades. Def going to continue to take my car there for my needs. I have had a lot of nice cars, I have had all of them tinted, all of them at Advanced. I used to live down the street from this shop and I have seen them tint hundreds of cars without a single bubble, streak, or noticeable blemish. The reason these guys offer a lifetime warranty on their tint jobs is because you will be extremely unlikely to ever need it because they are good, really really good, at what they do. If you own Italian or German exotics I wouldn't hesitate to take my ride here for tint; or if you have a '95 civic with black vinyl seats and want to keep from roasting your hind end after a day baking in the VA summer sun. Either way you will get the same thing, excellent service, reasonable prices, and impeccable workmanship. A+

I recently had my F150 tinted at Advance. I was referred to their services by a friend who had his Tundra tinted with satisfactory results. My experience with RPM (Advance Window Tint Co.) was one that I would certainly recommend based on the quality and craftsmanship displayed in the work done by Kyle. Their service was prompt and as promised. I initially dealt with Joe on the day I inquired to have the work done; he was helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. RPM (Advance Window Tint) has provided exactly what I was looking for. Trustworthy, prompt, helpful.

I cannot recommend RPM enough! The guys working here are all knowledgeable, hardworking, take pride in their work and sincerely enjoy what they do. When someone truly enjoys what they do (and are THE best at it) it will always shine through in their work which is your car. I have been dealing with them for years and will not trust my car to anyone else. If its quality top of the line upgrading you want then RPM is where its at!!!Service: Decorative window tinting

Spoke with Kyle the day before I came to visit the shop. He was very courteous on the phone and was looking forward to working with me the next day. When I arrived at the location, I was unsure where to go and a young man outside directed me in the correct direction. As I entered the establishment, I was greeted by 2 personnel inside, even though they were both busy. The atmosphere is nice and the place is well kept. One guy finished up and went to grab Kyle for me after they finished up their call. Kyle and I spoke again briefly about what we were going to do. He walked me through every step of the process, sold me on quality and service and delivered. The service was quick, very professional and one of the best automotive shop experiences I've had in a long time. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars for a reason.Every vehicle I have owned has been tinted here. I've worked in the car business in the past, been in love with cars my whole life, and these are the guys I trust with my cars hands-down, no questions asked. I would recommend anybody in the state of Virginia to stop by and check these guys out. You can go online to any car forum, or talk to any car guru around and they will all tell you the same thing when it comes to window tint: you get what you pay for! Sure, you can get a tint job from any Joe in town, but you better believe you'll know you've gotten what you've paid for as time passes. I own my cars for a long time and the first thing I do after I buy them is bring them here to get tinted. I remain loyal to Advanced for a reason: they do it once, and they do it right. They have complete, total confidence in their product and stand by it for a reason. And don't forget the lifetime warranty that comes along with their product, although you'll never need it. There is a reason Advanced Window Tint has been around for a long time, and will continue to be around for a long time.Do it once, and do it right. Take it to the professionals. Take it to Advanced Window Tint.

By far the best window tinting experience I have had from all levels. Kyle walked me through the entire process to ensure that i wasn't getting anything other than the best. The entire team conducts their business in a very timely and professional manner. When I was shopping around the market Advanced Tint consistently was the shop that was referred with high regards and managed to exceed expectations.

Kyle (the owner) was very polite and informative when answering all of my question and gave excellent recommendations and suggestions on their product and services.The quality of application of the tint was excellent with no streaks or bubbles. All of the trim lines were exact......very professional work, and I would highly recommend them to my friends who are looking for window tinting.
