Trust eroded and time wasted.I have used this shop in years past and have always been satisfied with service and price.This time has been different. When I dropped the car and they told me about the diagnostic fee and I was fine with that even though I felt that it should be waived if I completed subsequent work.I brought Avalon in for lack of power/acceleration. The technician came up with clogged converters being the problem which was not economical to repair for a 20+ year old car. Some people like myself do not farm out work because they are incapable of doing the work but in my case because I did not have time. When I got the $2800 estimate I was forced to make time.Not sure how their technician came up with that diagnosis or if they actually tested the exhaust flow but from my research that is the last of four causes to go after when a vehicle has low power/acceleration. The suggested troubleshooting I found in sequence is 1) Air flow problems, 2) Fuel problems, 3) Ignition problems and lastly 4) exhaust flow problems.I followed this basic troubleshooting and was able to get the Avalon running properly for less than $100 with a new air filter and mass air flow sensor.I had sent two emails and subsequent phone call requesting refund of the errant diagnostic fee with no response to date.It is unlikely that I would recommend or return here for service at this point since they could not take time to respond to request or own up to the fact that their diagnosis was so wrong.

This is my first time at this Aarrow Auto shop and I had a great experience. Steve that runs the place was very friendly and knowledgeable. My car was fixed and they have a service where they send you a few other maint. items that could be done. No high pressure, just a recommendation to keep my car in top condition. The communication was excellent at all stages, from appt time to pricing and completion. I'll be back, give them a try.

Excellent place to get your car repaired. They are very fair, nice and do a thorough job documenting anything wrong with the car before working on it This is done with photos and a full service report that shows green, yellow and red items to be looked at. The front person is Emmanuel and he does a great job getting you in the system, helping with a ride back to work and keeping in touch with you during the entire process. I have been going here for years and they do an outstanding job. Fair, professional and honest!

These people are just fantastic. After running from one (incompetent) place to another for over 6 months, they have finally been able to find what's wrong with my car and fixed it. I am so happy to see, there still seems to be quality out there. They communicate very well and I felt like being in good hands throughout the entire process.I'm extremely thankful guys!

Emmanuel should train customer service associates! He really went above and beyond, working with my warranty provider. He is so personable and makes every effort to satisfy customers. The service crew is professional and efficient. The work was done quickly and thoroughly.

I had my older Toyota vehicle serviced here. It was easy to get an appointment, the techs explained everything thoroughly, and service was quick. I like the detailed report that they send you once they have diagnosed your vehicle. I will definitely be going here for all of my vehicle needs. **Highly Recommend ** What can I say about this place other than they are fantastic! The transmission in my Jeep was shot! They got me in, checked on my Jeep and gave me an estimate right away. Emmanuel kept in contact with me with any updates and took the time to explain everything, I had so many questions, sorry!! If you want a place for Prices, Location and Staff, then look no further! Thank you guys for taking such great care of my baby!!

I can t say enough good things about Aarrow. I ve been going to their Short Pump location for years, until I moved to Chesterfield. So naturally I was glad when I saw they had a location down here. From the work I had done at the other location I already trusted the guys down here. When I had a brake issue they worked with me with the special request I had. They got the work done, did a great job, and were nothing but professional, helpful, and kind. Emmanuel is the man, and I can t say enough nice things about him, and the rest of the team. Shout out to John and Billy for doing great work, and being super chill. Thank you, guys, for accommodating me; you have a customer more life. Josh and his team at Aarrow transmission were awesome! The tech took time to ride with me to identify the problem, and the parts were ordered and unstick in a timely manner. I was able to bring my car in, have it repaired, and pick it up again, all in the same day! Outstanding!! My car shifts well, an drives as if it were new again. I am very happy with the service at Aarrow so far. I really appreciate their system of sending an email with photos explaining any repair issues before the manager calls me. They did great work on my struts and the vehicle rides like new. Josh, the service manager, is honest, knowledgeable, and overall has a great personality. I have been there several times and I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Aarrow for all service and maintenance.- William S.

Just got my clutch looked at by them.They were very helpful and answered all of the MANY questions I had (sorry).Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. Pricing was fair and appropriate for the services provided.One cool perk if you choose this shop, they email you a detailed breakdown that can be viewed online with pictures of everything they dealt with regarding your problem. Additionally they do a brief inspection of many major components of the car, the report from that can also be found in the breakdown.I will likely start using them as my primary mechanic after my experience today, and would highly recommend them.Oh, and free coffee, that s a bonus.

Great experience overall. I went here on May 6th and got my brakes serviced. Great prices and the wait time wasn t long what so ever. I also love the fact that while you re in the waiting area, you can see them service your vehicle through a glass pane which is a cool feature. The waiting area is clean and comes with complimentary water/coffee. The staff is very polite and nice to work with, especially Palmer. Palmer is by far the best service manager I had to pleasure of working with. Another HUGE benefit is the Vehicle Condition Report. They break down three categories (OK, Recommended, Required) so you know exactly what your vehicle may or may not need in the future, and it includes pictures! I definitely will continue to visit this location whenever my vehicle needs service because I know these mechanics are honest, fair and willing to help. Thank you all for all you do!

The staff is awesome, polite and will explain any issues with detail and even show you the part(s) that are in need of replacement! Even during COVID-19, they took great care of my car and didn't overcharge me. The only delay was the parts that were ordered for the repair took longer than usual but nothing that the staff could control! Will use them again and recommend to all my friends and family!

While the part was delay thanks to COVID and other constraints beyond Arrow's control, Steve and Emmanuel did a great job of keeping me posted of status. The employees of this garage are very helpful - personable and honest. I brought a vehicle with a transmission issue to them and they performed a very thorough full diagnostic complete with a detailed report via email at a fair price. The honesty of what the likely repair/replacement costs would be helped me make the correct decision to purchase a new vehicle, not repair everything wrong with the current one. Don and all of the guys at this place are great. I took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an unknown transmission problem. The guys in the shop worked hard to diagnose the problem and then Don worked very hard with my extended warranty company to get the needed parts. Bottom line is there were multiple problems with the vehicle that the guys diagnosed quickly and professionally. My Jeep is running like new now and my total bill was less than $100 thanks to Don's hard work and great communication with the warranty company. We have been going to Aarrow for years for personal and business vehicles. They maintain about 4 or 5 vehicles for us, on average. They have always been responsive, helpful, and I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of.We have been happy customers for years, but I was compelled to write a review today since they really went above and beyond yesterday helping me get my truck fixed, coordinate rides to get me back to work, and fixing it in less then a day.After all that, they were very fair with the bill.Great job Wayne and crew, you guys are great.

They are very respectful and honest. They let you know immediately what they find and don't pressure you at all. I highly recommend Aarrow Transmission to everyone for all of their vehicle needs.

I have been using Aarrow Transmissions for several years now, and these guys have always done a great job and the prices are reasonable. Also when I have my vehicles serviced the repairs or services are always completed in timely manner. This is very honest service center that you can trust with your vehicle repairs.

Aarow is my usual shop, but I wanted to give a special shout to Justin who was so helpful. My 11 year old car needed a lot of work done. Took it in for service, and Justin actually helped my mom surprise me by doing some extra work and working with her to keep it a secret. Might not seem like a big deal, but he definitely went above and beyond. I got my car back feeling like new, knowing it was now safer to drive thanks to the techs who worked on it. It still amazes me when good people work together and you get excellent service, above and beyond what's due. I would recommend this shop to anyone - they are honest, fair and wonderful. I was told by Ford I needed to have the transmission replaced. I brought my SUV to Aarrow and they found I didn't need to replace it. A solenoid pack was replaced and it runs like new. This saved me thousands of dollars. Other shops wanted to charge me $85 for diagnosing, including Ford. The manager, Tommy, and his crew are excellent to work with. I will return again.

What was a very stressful transmission breakdown, turned into an amazing experience! Emmanuel is a star employee! All the staff were friendly, kind and professional. They calmed my fears and got the car back to me a week before I expected it! I highly recommend Arrow Transmission!

Josh and the employees at Arrow Transmission know their stuff! They don't just do Transmissions either! They are a full service automotive shop! They have awesome customer service and can get you back on the road in no time! We will be bringing all of our vehicles here from now on. Totally worth the 1 hour trip to get here!

We have been taking our vehicles to Aarrow for 5+ years now and always have a great experience. They are honest, and the work is done in a timely manner. I love how you can schedule an appointment online, and their new location (with an upgraded waiting area) right off of Pouncey Tract is very convenient. Roy, John & Sterling are nice to work with as well.

Pros: Went for the 4x oil change and state inspection deal and was very happy with the price. As far as I know, the oil change was done well and my whole visit was not long an cumbersome.Cons: When my husband brought his truck in for inspection, they found a broken part and offered to fix it. They quoted us $300 for the price of the part which I found suspicious, so I refused the service. Went to O'Reilly's and got the new part for only $116. Pretty sleezy if you ask me- charging three times the price for a part. Definitely lost trust there.I will most likely finish up my oil changes that I already paid for, but will visit another shop for mechanical work.

I paid for a full service oil change, and went early on a Monday morning as a walk-in (unscheduled). My oil and filter were changed in about 40 minutes, and I would have rated Aarow 5 stars except they clearly did not inspect my car as thoroughly as a full service oil change would require. My car is late 90's and has 160k+ miles on it, so mechanics ALWAYS find something wrong with it, but Aarrow gave me a "checked and OK" rating on every single point of the vehicle inspection sheet (for ex: I removed a battery tie-down, and most mechanics will notice that it is missing and tell me it needs to be replaced to secure the battery in the event of a collision). It's my opinion that the mechanic did not inspect my car closely and gave it a perfunctory once-over. Since I paid more for a full service oil change, that's what I expected. If I had paid less for a basic oil change, then I would feel differently.

We were new to the area and looking for a professional and honest mechanic to deal with our 2002 Chevy trailblazer. With the truck being older, it has had a few issues. Aarrow Transmission has been great to deal with. We have delt with them for three years, having them work on the truck numerous time, and everytime we take the truck in we get honest quotes, quick service, and all in a professional atmosphere. The first time we took the truck to them another mechanic had told us there was a transmission and clutch issue that would be thousands of dollars to fix, but Aarrow was honest and told us it was just the cable. We walked out with only a small bill and a great running truck. We have never looked back and would never take our three cars anywhere else. That is a good mechanic!
