Went for an oil change over a week ago. 3 days later, my car was leaking all the oil out on my driveway. Called them to complain about the issue. They apologized, and did a new oil change for free. Then they told me that my pads needed replacing. I set up an appointment with them, and they were trying to charge me $1,400. I took my car to a different mechanic, turns out, my car does not yet need a break pad change.They are dishonest, and trying to take advantage of you. Never going back.

I ve been coming here since I moved to the area. Favio is great at keeping you updated on your car! I trust that my car is in good hands with them. It s a little pricey in my opinion, but that seems to be all of the DMV area in general. I m willing to pay for good, trustworthy work.Also noting that they are quite fast and always able to squeeze me in when I need work done. Much appreciated with my work schedule

I highly recommend this auto shop for all of your vehicle maintenance needs. I've been relying on Chahel Automotive for years and they've never disappointed. Very professional, honest, and personable; all at a very reasonable price. It's great to have a service location you can trust and depend on. Priceless.

I had to take my car in for inspection, and it needed a quick repair. Favio was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done, and honored his price estimate, even when the parts costed a little more. Very hospitable with even looking at my car a second time when there was something the matter at no cost. Would highly recommend.

Excellent auto service center! Favio took great care of us getting our family vehicle repaired last minute. Professional and customer service oriented, he went out of the way to help us. Simon also worked with us to arrange payments to help expedite our repairs.

I had an amazing experience at Hunter s Woods Auto Service! I came in because my bumper was having some issues, and Favio and team were able to see me same day (courtesy check), they come up with a way of keeping my bumper in place (complimentary!), and recommended an honest, cost effective way of fixing it. They also noticed my car s inspection was about to expire, and were able to attend to it right away. I m so happy I found this place, and will keep coming and recommending others to come here as well :)

Anytime I need anything done for my car, this is the place to go. They are so professional, informative, and extremely personable. Favio is also the greatest help to explain if anything is wonky! My family has been coming here for years and we have never left disappointed.

Their transparency on services and fair pricing for both labor and parts were greatly appreciated. They sourced parts creatively, even checking junkyards when the dealership and aftermarket options fell short. This level of dedication and trustworthiness has earned them a customer for life. Never ever go to this store again after the ownship change. The new owner only want to rob you. I got a battery change bill of $530+. A battery cost $200 and unknown store supply item and service fee. I Uber 30min to this store is only because the old owner I have worked with for over 3 years. After a long and strong fight with the owner, they finally agree to remove $140 which I did not agree to pay when they asked me for permission. It is an unfortunate change for our community. Also thanks to my lexus which did not break for the last two years.

The best, extremely competent, and trustworthy car repair shop for Reston an Herndon, Hunter's Woods ExxonMobil. OwnerSimon Cooper runs an outstanding and first-rate operation. Service Manager Favio Burke takes pride in his team and their customer service. I cannot express how grateful I am! When I found a nail in my tire, I was honestly distraught at what I was going to do at last minute. But I went to Hunter Wood s service center I was taken care of without any trouble at all! Thank you so much! Again I can t express how grateful I am. Thank you!!

Used to go to them often. But on the last repair/maintenance visit at 150k miles they seeming missed either a massive oil leak, failed to put the right oil in, or didn't put in enough.Cars engine was destroyed driving down the highway.Always get a second look after work done at this shop.

I recently had my car repaired at Hunter Woods's Auto Serivice Center, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The team did a fantastic job, diagnosing and fixing the issues promptly. The customer service here was exceptional. Thai Bright is terrific mechanic. I failed my inspection with Tire and Auto and came to the Reston Exxon to get the items repaired while at work. Thai is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I wish more mechanics were like him. Items were fixed and passed my inspection while at work. Can t ask for anything more. First time getting my car taken care of without parental guidance, knew nothing and wasn t sure what to expect. Tim did an amazing job keeping me updated on approximately how long and how much the job would be throughout the process. The mechanic truly wanted to fix what was wrong and get me back on the road so I could get back on the road safely, no up selling or anything of the sort. This place is on the level, and the employees are dedicated and easy to work/talk with. If your car is acting up, you re in good hands here.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Since ownership changed to Chahel Automotive (about 1 year ago?) things have greatly improved. There is a lot better communication between the mechanic and customer. I find they do not oversell things, they are not pushy. This is my go-to place from now on. Great staff, super easy to work with and talk to. Took my first car to get inspected there and they were open and honest about all the options I had with it. Ended up getting a used car and made sure to bring it to them for their prepurchase inspection. They went over everything they found with the vehicle and gave me estimates within a few minutes and worked with me on what I needed to have done right then and what I could do on my own. Tim and Thai are the people I have been helped by most often and both are very open with the conditions of the vehicle and creative and strategic with ways to fix it in a cheaper and functional long lasting way. Tim was a huge help when I previously got an oil change. I had some small settings and key fob battery change I needed done with my car today and called and he said to come on by - and I was in and out within 10 minutes. I ve always received excellent service and I ve always gone in without an appointment. Oil changes vary, but it s conveniently located next to a grocery store and coffee shop to wait.

All cars needed service. One after the other, was addressed promptly including unknown items. Being able to use the loaner vehicle was the icing on the cake. We finally have a home for car service.
