Paid to have head gaskets/ motor replaced on my Subaru Outback legacy & when I got it back the problems were the same dale said they did replace the motor after running diagnostics on the motor they were putting in my vehicle! He refused to fix the problem unless I paid I didn t have the money to pay him for a problem I had just paid him to fix so my vehicle sat beside the building for two weeks until I had some of the money & when I went back to the garage my vehicle was parked in the front under the car port full of filing boxes with Christmas decorations! He said I d be better off getting another vehicle & offered one of the vehicles that he had for sale but said that I d have to make payments or pay full price. I feel that I was done wrong & would not recommend this garage to anyone! Will upload photos of vehicle once I find them

I cannot describe what a pleasure it has been working with these fantastic folks! The customer service is out of this world. So helpful and great communication. That means a lot in this day and time. Price was very reasonable and, for the amount of work they had to do, they were able to get me back in my truck in no time at all! They really go the extra mile! Love them and if I need a mechanic again, they'll be seeing me again!

Everyone who works here is extremely friendly, and are very personable. As a young female, I would trust coming here to have work done and they would give you the best deal and the best job.However do not come here for a state inspection- my truck failed for having orange turn signals, instead of yellow turn signals. As well as failed for 14 other issues, including for the front end which was just professionally rebuilt 2 years prior.But as stated, the employees were very friendly and pleasant to work with. They did offer to show me everything that they failed my truck for. But, I did refuse to look, as I know my truck inside and out.

McCoys is a place I would surely recommend! I was fortunate they had some time to look at my vehicle the same day I called in. I was in a time crunch and just passing through while traveling. They managed to diagnose, fix my problems, and have my truck back to me all in the same day! Unheard of now days. It was a smaller electrical issue and I'm sure isn't to be expected every day, But I'm extremely satisfied and grateful for the assistance! at a fair price too. Thanks again to the Crew at McCoys!

I have no prblem with the work. The low mark is bc of my interaction with a single individual. I didn't want to post but this is the 5th or so time. Everytime I speak with Emmanuel, it is a weird passive aggressive experience. I feel like I'm an irritation for asking questions or clarifying something on somethingas vital as my sole transportationto work. I had to get an Uber last though he put what time I get off and need my vehicle. Today I asked what time I'll get it and it's such a hassle to ask and be sure. I could go on. My agitation is at a point over this. I have no problem with the work. Regardless of the work this type of customer services makes one contemplate going to another mechanic in the future.

Had almost $3000 in work done,, we have had nothing but problems since. When you have oil leaks fixed they shouldn t leak anymore, when you have a power steering leak fixed it shouldn t leak and should be topped off with fluid. Don t get a coolant pressure test cause then you re going to need a whole new radiator due to the damage caused by the test. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I ve talked to multiple people since my experience and they all have had bad experiences. Wish I had know before hand.

I went for a car inspection. And they found three thousand dollars worth of damage and things that weren't even related to being a car inspection. I was told before going. They were a crooked business and how they had 4 star. I have no ide. Yeah, but I do not recommend them. They are definitely crooked and unbelievable

McCoy's Auto repair fixed my car when no one else would. I found them to be professional, courteous, and very affordable. I highly recommend them when it comes to servicing your car.

Very fast work, but missing some quality. I had my rear engine mount and front sway bar in my 07 tC replaced. These repairs require a lift, which I don t have. I typically do all my own repairs. I provided instructions from the aftermarket sway bar manufacturer that included steps and torque specs. I can guarantee the torque specs were NOT followed. I had to use a 3 foot breaker bar just to remove the lugnuts (should be 76 lb-ft). I went back to double check their work and some hardware was loose and some still couldn t be broken loose with a breaker bar. I suspect the repair tech used a 1/2 impact and let it go for a few seconds on the large bolts, which only required 116 lb-ft torque. Nothing a torque wrench and 5 more minutes max couldn t do. No scratches on my car luckily, but a fair amount of handprints and some mud. They did good work, just make sure to make it as easy as possible for the repair team and loosen and retorque bolts yourself after them working on it.Service: Steering & suspension repair

By far the best customer service that I, myself has ever had. The owner Dale turned a horrible situation that I had no idea how to figure out, didn't know what to do next. But by being a good, decent, and honest human being that didn't just help me out tremendously on that situation he helped with two more and had absolutely no obligation to do so. So I'm giving 5 stars and my loyalty. Matter of fact imma get some t-shirts made with "McCoy's Auto Repair" and be their walking ad.P.S- I got McCoys t-shirts for sale yall. Just kidding Google. Oh, and I didn't mean "walking ad" literally. Cause they fixed my truck so I will be driving. Lol haha

I don t wont to judge them from my first visit. I ve done me car s inspection there. I originally went there to check the transmission s performance. They said, it is perfect while it is not working smoothly. Also, the AC wasn t working, they took almost 1.5 hours just to inspect it, finally, they said an air compressor s sensor is the problem. I just spent time and $492 for nothing.

UP-DATE 1/05/21 IT TOOK A FEW WEEKS BUT OIL LEAK IS FIXED !!!! AWESOME JOB MCCOY'S AUTO SHOP !!! 1/05/2021 JUST DROPPED TRUCK OFF FOR PRESSER CHECK - GOT A COOLANT LEAK. AFTER PRESSURE TEST- FOUND OUT RADIATOR WAS CRACKED - 1/07/2021 BOUGHT A NEW ONE AT NAPA - MCCOY'S CREW PUT IN IN FOR ME FOR & FLUIDS FOR $90. AFTER ALL THE WORK I'VE HAD DONE AT MCCOY'S I'VE SPENT A GRAND TOTAL OF $3300 FOR LOTS OF PARTS AND LABOR !! THIS OLD TRUCK NEEDED THESE REPAIRS ITS 27 YRS OLD JUST TURNED 100K BUT ITS RUNNING LIKE NEW AND ITS A GOOD LOOKING 94 LIGHTNING !! MY THANKS TO DALE & THE CREW AT MCCOY'S AUTO SHOP IN FAIRLAWN (( OUTSTANDING ))Service: Engine repair

The folks here are very honest and do their best to save you money/not recommend unnecessary repairs. I've always been able to get a timely appointment, had good work done, and the pick up/drop off service is so helpful! I got my state inspection here last year and it was all good. So, I went here again this year thinking everything s gonna be fine. Well, they failed my state inspection because they said my right high beam light wasn t working and it would cause $900 to get it replaced, because they have to take the whole headlight out. I was confused because it s been working fine, I drive at night all the time & have to use my high beam light sometimes. So, they put a rejected sticker on it and said I m allowed to legally drive for 15 days only. They also said they were gonna try to find a cheaper headlight. I just knew I felt like I was being scammed. So, I went to a different shop to get it reevaluated, there were 3 men who checked it out multiple times, in the daylight and even brought it in the darker area to really make sure. All of them said everything works fine & to go back. So I went back & they checked it again & saw that everything was working, the guy said he had to move some wires for it work which doesn t make sense because the other guys at the other shop didnt have to touch anything. That s all. You guys just lost a customer. ;)) Thanks for the inconvenience!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Our daughter is a student at RU. McCoy's was very professional and helpful when my husband called to ask about getting a repair estimate. They offered to pick up her car or give her a ride back to campus. She made an appt, though we didn't know at the time only a fuse was needed (her windows didn't work and someone else had replaced the wrong fuse.) McCoys checked this first, even though she told them it was recently replaced. They were very kind to her and didn't even charge to replace the fuse. Would definitely have her go back again for any repairs needed!

Excellent work done at a great price. They diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts, had them delivered and installed all within 3 hours. They offer complimentary pickup of either the vehicle or just giving you a ride to and from, but the waiting room is entertaining enough to keep you occupied!

I have used McCoy auto repair numerous times. Every time I am met with fantastic customer service and professionalism. Some thing that most businesses seriously lack these days! They have really fair rate, they speak in plain English to you and don t try to manipulate you, and they really treat you like you are valuable to them. I feel like I am being taken care of as if I was one of their family members! I am really grateful to have an auto repair shop that is locally owned but I know I can trust. Thank you to Joe, Jimmy, Dale, and the owner!

We were on our way to a critical appointment when we noticed a strange squeal under the hood of our 2004 Tahoe. We pulled into McCoy's (1st time ever been there because we are new to the area). I flagged down a mechanic & asked if he could listen and see if we had a issue that could be band-aided so we could make our appointment? SURPRISE #1... he and his female assistant stopped what they were doing and immediately found the issue with the power steering... SURPRISE #2 they put it up on the rack, temporarily repaired the issue, gave us a less than $100 quote to come back in 2 days and have it fully repaired!!! We made I our appointment... 2 days later we came back at the scheduled time SURPRISE #3 they repaired the power steering at the quoted price and we were in & out. Turns out the mechanic that helped us is the owner's son & chief mechanic over SURPRISE #4 the 12+ mechanics they have working there.We feel soooooo blessed to have found such a high quality shop filled with high quality & TRUSTWORTHY people!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

I ve been a happy customer for years, always fair, and their pickup and drop off program is amazing but today they more than earned a 5 star review: Right before the holidays my vehicle s battery light comes on. Uh oh.Battery fails test at AutoZone. Great. New battery later Alternator fails, too. Uh oh Call McCoy they can do it Tuesday after Christmas... ...but they can do a refab under warranty and squeeze me in today if i can get there pronto Bill was less than half what I expected, I m about to go pick it up! They broke the driver door interior and i found a scratch on the car body after I received it. Their level of irresponsibility is very unacceptable. Plus they are way more expensive than any other mechanic.

I know he has alot of cars in parking lot but their service is fantastic! The owner Dale Mccoy is truthful, an honest . Will give you the cost befor fixing, wont fix if aint broke, an treats women honest as men..

Stopped by to have an oil change and a state inspection. The car was taken back at the appointment time. Everyone was very friendly. The owner stopped and talked to us. It felt like we were welcome and valued and they appreciated our business. I will definitely be taking my car back.

Very respected, family run business. Great work. They are extremely popular so call ASAP but extremely reasonable. They want to help you out! They've even given me a free loaner car in the past and picked my car up from my apartment. Thankful for the times this shop saved me! Dale and his guys will take care of you.

Just went here today for the first time to get a tire plugged. Service was fast, friendly and affordable. I plan to return here in the future for my auto needs. The owners seems very nice and well-organized considering how busy they stay!

Excellent service! Came and got my car when I arrived at work and had it back by the time I needed to leave. They changed my oil and did my brake flush & change at a fraction of the that the Honda Dealer wanted to do it! Dale and his crew are phenomenal!
