Took my vehicle in to have a noise fixed underneath, he took the heat shields off,charged me 85.00,still didn't fix the noise!!Had it 4 days!! Definitely want return or send anyone to him!! Be careful about all the so called reviews!

These people are amazing and quite frankly i would still be stuck 400+ miles away from my family in either direction. i tend to be a bit wary of where i take me vehicle for work (after all i am a young woman who works in the industry myself) but im so glad i got recommended to take it to Jason, he got my vehicle back on the road and functioning properly much quicker than a tow would have arrived and for a price that didn t kill my wallet, his whole team was incredibly sweet and understanding of my situation and i can say they honestly went above and beyond to help me out when i was essentially stranded, i am so thankful that these people were open when i have issues.(i had to post this from my alt account because my main gmail is in the process of being recovered but yes a i m a real human)

Great customer service I am new to the area and needed some help with my suv and he was terrific!! He helped me multiple times prices are reasonable and fair!! He will fix it right the first time!! I 10/10 would recommend!!

I went to Blackburns shop with new clutch, engine mounts, oil pan, timing belt, thermostat and coolant sensor. He stayed in contact with me through the whole process, showed me things that also needed to be replaced instead of just putting it back together. Also had a very fair price considering all the work that was done. He is an honest guy and I would recommend him to anybody.

I moved here from Pa. back in 2014 and tried 3 different mechanics in the area before I came across Jason. To say the least, the others before him would rob the h#ll out of me, wait forever till they would get me in & do 1/2 @ssed work. When ever I call Jason with a problem he will try to get me in the same day or at the most a day or 2 after. Always gave me great prices and allow me to observe the work being done. GREAT PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH !!! If you want a mechanic you can trust in the area I highly recommend Jason here. He knows what he is doing and helps explain what is wrong and shows you what is wrong. He doesn't replace parts for no reason and makes sure you are fine with it beforehand. Even when my van was fully fixed up and the check engine lights came back on he checked them out each time and put my mind at ease about any issues. I wouldn't go to anyone else for repairs on my vehicle from now on.

Found the issue with my Pacifica Van, despite not having worked on one before. Worked with me to find a more affordable option for the part I needed, as opposed to requiring me to purchase from him through dealership, this saved me almost $400, thank you Jason! Very friendly & knowledgeable & a true gentleman... Being disabled, he was kind enough to Open my door for me while I got in.The only small criticism is meeting my personal preference of getting updates on my vehicle more often than offered, atleast a quick call or text at end of day to tell me if the issue had been discovered... but in all fairness, it is a very busy hometown shop! Had I gotten updates more often, definitely would have rated 5 star.

Had a transmission problem while traveling and stopped in. Left Jason $300 cash to order new transmission lines and the transmission quit before we could get back to his shop. Had to have the truck hauled home. Jason never sent the lines (I offered to pay any additional money for shipping) or returned the money. After repeated phone calls to try and get this squared away I had to resort to this negative feedback. It s too bad as he seems like a nice guy. Very disappointed with him.

My alternator died while travelling from NC to CT. Jason stopped what he was doing and prioritized my repair, even though it was difficult on my vehicle type. When I asked to apologize to his other customers for me making them wait he said he would just work harder and get them done on time! I needed my air conditioner fixed and I had my parts in the car, so all I needed was someone to install them for me when I found Blackburn's Automotive. Leaving work in Radford I combed through that town stopping anywhere that fixed cars to ask how much it would cost to do the work. I came upon Blackburn's Automotive in Pulaski to ask the owner of that garage the same question and he quoted me a price that was 1/2 the cost of all the others. He told me to come in the next day after lunch and he did the job for me. He gained a huge amount of respect from me due to his professionalism. He was very professional, courteous, and respectful. I have hired Jason to fix several things on my vehicle since then and will continue to use his services because I completely trust him and his knowledge. Awesome service and the mechanic & Jason were so nice. The repair costs was half what I'd pay in Mass! Very fair pricing. We were traveling from Nashville to Washington DC. We began to have brake problems and called the shop. They knew we were on a schedule. They quickly test drove the vehicle identified the problem and replaced the brake pads. I wish the shop was close to home, this would be my new every day mechanic!

The assistance received at Blackburns was excellent. I'm not local and had an issue on the interstate. I pulled in and discussed the problem and was on my way within a short period of time thanks to the proprietor. If I lived there he would be my mechanic.

Got a new transmission here, I was charged 600 dollars more than I was quoted. I have had nothing but problems out of it since, all of them stemming from improper installation and things not being adjusted correctly. I received a 3 year 75000 mile warranty on this repair but he refuses to warranty any of his labor says thats only for parts. I had to pay to get all the leaks fixed and finally had to go and adjust all the shift linkage myself. Terrible experience!

This shop is the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic in 50 years they take up to 4 days to get on the phone once taking in your vehicle.they took 2 weeks to install a timing chain in my vehicle for 300. Labor cost charges Me 98. For timing chain kit plus 9 . Shipping for a so called out of stock kit. On Friday I called Orilies who had the part the next morning for 40.99 the next morning which was a Saturday with a life time warranty. I also had them change the oil and fill the coolant system with antifreeze the total bill was 487.49 so the oil change and add antifreez cost 80.00. Now the car won't run the charging system is shot and I had to tow it from their shop to another one to be redone. .

Do not go there I broke down on I 81decided to come in for a new battery and they proceeded to wrongfully diagnose my vehicle said I needed more things then what I actually needed,they couldn t replaced my alternator but broke my fan and battery harness my car started to overheating I was not able to make it to my destination now I have more problems that originally came in with and they refuse to answer customers phone calls if u think of coming here DONT be careful.Service: General repairs & maintenance
