Lyman Automotive is the place you want to take your vehicle to get serviced. James and his friendly staff are always kind and knowledgeable. I recommend all of my friends and family to go there. You won t be disappointed.

I was recommended Lyman's by a coworker and they did not disappoint! Was able to get in same day, excellent customer service, quick repair. Definitely going back there from now on with everything my truck needs!

Excellent work, competitively priced, strong coffee, clean waiting room with high speed internet. This business is a hidden gem. I even bring my vehicles from hours away to get them services with Lyman! Wonderful shop! Was in the area only for a few days and needed to get an inspection done and a tune up. I'm usually pretty leery to take a vehicle to a shop on my own because I'm a woman, and I don't know much about cars, so I'm liable to believe that the headlights need freezer fluid if they say so. But the guys here we're completely fair and through. One of the guys were even nice enough to give me a ride up to the nearest shopping center so I could grab some breakfast while I waited without me asking. He just saw me start walking and offered it on his own. Kinda makes me wish I was staying in the area because they'd have a loyal customer for sure! Definitely highly recommend!

Went in to have my car inspected, oil changed and windshield replaced. They beat the price of everyone else I called and they put quality behind their service like I had never experienced before. Tony really went above and beyond to explain things to me in a way I could understand and made me feel 100% comfortable leaving my car in their care. New lifetime customer right here!!

Got a fast appointment with Tony to address a suspension issue and back up light malfunction, had failed inspection, and before I could drink a 3rd cup of complimentary coffee, my car was done in less than hour, just like that. I was then able to get car reinspected. Next time I visit, which i will and will be sending friends also, excellant shop experience, nice lounge UPDATE, was gonna write a review on yesterday's appointment, couldn't find a star button to push, I had another positive automotive experience. This trip more for changing fluids and pads so that car can go another 110k miles,

Layman Automative has been my personal and professional go-to for everything vehicle maintenance & repair. Always fair and always friendly! This new Powhatan location just took it up a notch with friendly service and a clean, comfortable lounge. It s also a more convenient location for us!! I m looking forward to my oil change that I just scheduled for Friday morning! Thank you!!

Very friendly and helpful. Got me worked in on a days notice so I could get a bearing replaced when I had a surprise afternoon off. While I was waiting they offered me tips to help extend the lifespan of my vehicle based on some observations.
