I purchased a car at All Ryde in Powhatan, Va. It broke down the same day. Baldwin's has jumped right in and fixed my car. Excellent service. Good people. Great communication and very fair pricing.

Dan and his crew are honest and straightforward. The automotive field is difficult and constantly changing. Yet they are always doing their best to handle your every vehicle repair need. I've know Dan for 30 years and he has never been anything but honest and helpful. Keep up the good work.

Dan is straight up honest and very knowledgeable. They work on cars of all vintages. Modern cars have become very complex. Dan and his crew work very hard to keep up with the ever changing landscape yet they retain the skills to repair cars from the last many generations. I absolutely trust them 100% and in the car repair business that is very rare!

I have been going to Baldwin 4 two to three years for most of my major car repairs. He has always done good work in the past.Most recently I took my vehicle to Baldwin, telling him that I would be going to Arizona and driving the entire way. I asked him to do a detailed look at my car. He called me back and said that all four brakes would need to be repaired as well as a sway bar. I specifically asked him to look at the battery, the engine, and the fluids to make sure everything checked out. Per Dan everything checked out okay.A week after putting the car in the shop I went to start it for work one day and the battery was dead. I once again took the vehicle 2 Baldwins and was told it was a possible belt that ran through the entire vehicle which she replaced.On the way to Arizona we broke down one morning in Tennessee. Both a rest stop attendant and the tow man said that my battery was bad and one of the terminals was in very poor condition. Both parts were corroded, and had never been cleaned. I was disappointed since I had told Dan to look specifically at the battery after it had died while I was at home. I'm very thankful for the honest people that I met on the journey who were able to help me. After replacing both battery and terminal I had no further problems.I will no longer be recommending Baldwin Services to any of my friends.

Dan and his crew are skilled mechanics in a convenient location for Powhatanians. We had a "mysterious" problem with our used but well taken care of Volvo. Long treks to the dealer shop were unproductive, and a highly esteemed Volvo specialist on Hull street solved one part of the problem, but was even further away and our car simply wouldn't display the symptoms when in their hands. A recommendation to Baldwin's brought us there and Dan took the time to research, solve, and fix the problem. I appreciate that they don't just rely on the vehicle computer codes to diagnose the problem, but use their experience and skill to solve the issues that fall "between the codes". We have had other fixes that have also worked out very well.

Dan provides outstanding / quality automotive service. When he evaluates / repairs your vehicle, you can rest assured the work is required, and has been done very well.

terrible i wouldnt take my kids bike to dan rip off artist doesnt stand behind his work. mike i spent thousands in there to only have the same problem.
