Otr drivers, you might be able to check in at 630 if you say please and thank you. 18 pallets in and out. You gotta wait till the yellow gates are open, come right around the building and set up for a blind side although. You ll be able to site side

I was at Lowe s of Claypool Hill today and bought over $2000 dollars of building materials, I had to get all my lumber myself with Lowe s employees watching and never offering there help, I was recovering from a shoulder replacement and sure they could tell I was struggling to load the lumber, it actually looked like they were avoiding me. I asked one if they could help me that I needed 3 rolls of mesh wire for concrete and 80 1/2 20 foot rebar and he replied he would be getting off in 10 minutes and couldn t help and he called someone else and they responded that they had just gotten there. I went ahead and checked out and paid for what I needed and asked the cashier at the lumber desk if they could get someone to get those items for me and they contacted someone. I proceeded to load my truck with all the lumber I had gotten with no help and still had to wait an hour and a half to two hours before they brought me my order. There claims of great customer service is false and the help they have is riding the clock on them!!! I don t know if I ll ever go back!!! Telling others my story and they said they were done the same way. What happened to the days when you could get help? They raised the minimum wage and people are working less!!! If anyone else has these same issues please make them aware that they need to improve there help. They want you to pay the high prices and get everything yourself! Bad business!!!!

We have purchased several thousand dollars from this location over the past 5 years due to a complete remodel and a 750 sf addition of our home. We had windows installed by them which was quite expensive and very poor installation quality. Last week we tried to purchase a new washer and dryer during their holiday sale. What a cluster. The appliance staff is ignorant and unwilling to do their job. We ordered our set and the total was several hundred dollars more than the sale price. The employee actually said"what do you want me to do about it"? We asked for a refund immediately, and she couldn't figure it out. We had to go to the front counter, wait for a manager to show her how to do her job. We spent an hour and a half and left with nothing. We will travel to Bristol, to Home Depot, from now on.

Don't trust the manager here... Purchased an oven here and within a year it didn't operate properly. Discussed with the manager here and he claimed the warranty starts when the order was placed.Correctamundo. It is when the appliance is installed, not when purchased. Apparently, they don't like helping little, old ladies here having appliance issues with products sold from this store.Go to Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon, don't trust these idiots!!

Worst experience to date in the store. Plumbing section is a complete mess. Spent an hour digging through fittings to find what I needed. Spent another 30 minutes pushing the button in electrical 3 times to get someone to unlock the wire in the cage I needed. Not to mention a phone call to the electrical department nobody picked up. Kids running everywhere as apparently making kids happy during Halloween is more important than helping a customer get his water back. Had to go to another store because when checking out realized someone had put the wrong size fitting in the box I got it out of. The only redeeming point of the whole trip was that I helped a gentleman find the breaker he needed when he asked for help when he realized neither of us were getting helped anytime soon. If my water wasn't out I would have left all of what I bought and just ordered it from Amazon and Home Depot. The sad thing is Lowe's was great 20 years ago and now I can't find plumbing fittings but I can buy clothing there.

Great staff, always stocked and easy to locate items needed for your projects. Check out service was fast and friendly. Tankless water heater, plumbing and electrical all in one trip.

I have been waiting on my delivery. The delivery department is horrible with communication. I paid $79 for delivery and the last two Mondays it was never delivered.

They are great. A little expensive but isn't everything nowadays. Nice clean store. I was helped to get what I needed as well. Friendly people.

Everyone there just hides when you need help and Everyone just acts like they hate working there. If there was a home depot near this location, lowe's would be closed

Great place to shop, whether it's for home repair or just simply upgrading something in your home. Online order and curbside pickup is awesome. You can find anything from faucets, plumbing, flooring, lumber, hardware, lawn and gardening, home appliances, light fixtures, cabinetry, patio sets, power tools, etc. It has friendly sales associates who can assist you if you need help loading items and its a very clean store with lots of parking space so if you have to bring a trailer to put your purchase on it's easy to park and turn!

Inadequate assistance with finding a list of 5 items, misdirection to product's locations causing time wasting and retracing steps. *Very helpful lady employee at the Lumber checkout/pickup area, efficient, knowledgeable, and timely help.

I was offered assistance in finding what I was shopping for within 30 seconds of entering this store. Before I found everything that I came for I was once again asked if I needed any help. I had both items that I came for within minutes of arriving here. The young man at the register was also very nice! I highly recommend this Lowes to anyone in the Tazewell County Area!

Just had the worst experience at claypool hill Lowes ( pounding mill Lowes) . Waited and waited for someone to help with loading plywood, no one came. Cashier called again for someone to help still no one came. So we had to do it ourselves. Then after paying, cashier called for someone to help load it in the trailer for us. Still no help. Worst customer service EVER

The older gentleman that was working tool department was rude and sold me the wrong item. Come home and seen it was wrong and turned around for another trip back to Lowes to get the item I wanted from the cage that the employee didn't want to open the first trip.This was Lowes of Pounding Mill, Va.

While the store itself has everything you need, sometimes customers need to find things, or ask questions about certain projects. When this happens, I have never been able to find one employee who knows what in the world I'm talking about. Lowes should hire people experienced in the departments they work in, instead of teenagers looking for a quick job. Normally, I just scrounge around until I find what I'm looking for because the last time I did need help, I went looking for an employee, and every time I approached them, they walked away in the other direction as if they were running from me. Lowes needs to figure this one out bc they have dodo's working for them.

Store only has 3 motor shopping carts for disabled shoppers. Waited inside store for 10 to 15 minutes only saw one motor shopping cart in store. Next time I will drive to Abingdon and save time. Store staff ok.

I have had many good experiences at this Lowe s with quite a lot of knowledgeable workers who go out of their way to help you. I have a name that stands out to me and that is Matt who at the the time of my husband and I remodeling our shower, was the one to help us with picking out tile and everything else we needed. Not only was he so helpful and kind he says hi to my husband and I anytime he sees us at Lowe s. We need more people like Matt working in places like this! I ve also had some other great experiences in the paint section with helping me with many different paint projects I have done. As well as the door and window area with a very nice helpful guy. The cashiers are also very kind since I have been there. Most people want friendly , knowledgeable and honest workers to help them and I have had so far a great experience at this Lowe s and I am very thankful. I hope all these people just know how important their job is and it makes our day!

Terrible I waited a week and a 1/2 for my washer and dryer just to tell me they can't deliver it because of the truck I find that to be unacceptable when you pay $1700 for washer and dryer and you don't have one and can't wash your clothes and then they tell you they can't deliver it I would have picked it up a week and a 1/2 ago myself! Which i end up doing anyway

This business is spot on. The employees are very helpful when I needed information. I found all gardening supplies and lumber at a decent price.

Lowe's usually has what you need, however the treated lumber is not always the best quality. Have to pick and choose what you want.

I came here close to closing time on 11-27-2021 and was needing some plumbing equipment and advice. There's an older gentleman named Curtis that helped me and got me lined out. Very smart and helpful person. 5 stars just for him
