Where to start? Freedom Ford was excellent. I ordered a new F150 in August. It arrived early December. Matt Rife was my salesman and I highly recommend him. Honest and straight to the point. He knew I was ordering and had some of their available inventory with various options for me to check out ready. After I settled on my options, we went through the order process seamlessly. He didn't even ignore me with my various more than likely annoying questions while we waited. Once the truck arrived, he made sure all my nitpicky requests were met. Financing was straight forward, no junk or useless third party warranties, only Ford ESP for a great price and an excellent financing rate. I can't recommend Matt and the staff at Freedom enough. They'll always get my business from here forward. Angie and the guys over at the quicklane service are great as well. They installed my bed cover quickly and did a great job. I also got a very excellent deal on the truck. You couldn't ask for better. Go to freedom. You won't regret it.

Service department: I am very far away from home, and my vehicle needed help. Big thanks to expert technician Ethan and the rest of the service team. Also big thanks to the advisors Rachel and Malik. I'm eternally grateful.

Where do I start... I contemplated not leaving a negative review because I am a business owner myself and I give others the benefit of the doubt. I purchased a vehicle from this dealer 7/20/23 and it has been a total nightmare from the start. I initially started working with John who promised me my car would be delivered free if I decided to purchase it. Once I agreed, he went back on his word and tried to convince me that he said no such thing. After going back and forth after a few calls, I was then switched to Matt Rife as a sales associate. Honestly, Matt was great and got everything taken care of for me, which I am grateful for. I received the car with a fog light not working and took it to my local dealer to have it repaired. They found a few major electrical issues totaling close to $3k that Rusty, the GM agreed to take care of with some back and forth. The dealership also let me know that the bumper had been glued on and the electrical and body work prior to me purchasing it was done incorrectly. At this point I had not had the car a full week. Fast forward to labor day 2023 weekend, ALL of my dash lights came on including the check engine light. I took the car to my local dealer and it turns out that I have a blown head gasket! I am so upset because my car has been down and in and out of the shop the entire time (a month and a half) I have had it and hadn't driven it 300 miles yet. This dealer sold me a lemon and I urge you to take your business and hard earned money elsewhere. In response to the response below-Had the extended warranty been offered to me, I would have purchased it. They were so busy trying to pass me off and they knew about the issues prior to bringing me the car. I spoke to the manager a few times prior to even receiving the car so i'm not sure how the response provided flips the coin and makes this my fault for not buying a warranty.

Stopped by on 4 separate occasions! No salesman came out I really wanted to look at a car they had and test drive it but I guess the old days of being greeted by a salesman are gone. So I went to rameys of Richlands was there less than 5 min before greeted by a salesman!

We were in desperate need of a vehicle and found one at Freedom Ford but we lived 7 hours away. We decided to buy it in spite of the distance because we were taking a trip through that area. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. We were on the road in our new vehicle in less than an hour. The staff is very nice. Thank y all so much!

This is the worst place to go to. I wanted to get my oil changed at the Quick Lane and the woman was being very disrespectful and very rude to me. She was asking me to do things without telling me the price of the oil change. When I was trying to talk to her she walked away. Needs to learn how to talk to customers without being rude. Never will I be returning to that place.

Matt was very nice and patient with us, no pressure. Even though we ended up not going with the truck we looked at, the entire process was very simple and straight forward. Can't go wrong with these folks, thanks so much!

Awesome local car lot. I have purchased 4 vehicles there with no problems at all and they always give me the best for trade. I also found my mustang out in Wythville from another lot that they purchased for me to purchase from them.

Called in for estimate for my sons vehicle based on recommendations the tech found during an oil change. Shawn in parts department was very helpful, however Jeremy was to price up the labor for the repairs. Jeremy never called me back with the labor estimate, when I called him back he said he lost the parts list and could not schedule any service before April 3rd. Take your business elsewhere, this is not a customer service oriented business!

Great same-day service done quickly. Friendly employees who communicated well. They brought an unseen (by me) issue to my attention that I scheduled for service. They earned an A+ from me.

We have had the worst experience at this place. The Jeep we bought a year ago already needs a crankshaft sensor replaced. We called to schedule an appointment and were told the warranty should cover it, but we d have to pay a $100 deductible. Now we re told it s not covered. We had an appointment at 8am to get it repaired today. We were informed at 10am what the problem was (which we had already informed them of). They were given the go ahead to repair it which is supposed to take an hour and a half. We called to check on it at 1 and were told it would be another hour. At 2:30 we were told it would be another hour because the mechanics kept getting pulled to do stickers and other things. At 3:30 we were told it would be another half hour until it was done. At 4 we were told it probably won t be ready today that they had been busy. That s all good, but why do you make an appointment at a specific time for yours to be fixed and it s not? Also, why not tell us it may be tomorrow before we get it instead of stringing us along all day? Today is the only day that my husband has off that they re open, so we can t just come and pick it up tomorrow. He has to work for a living. Don t bring your vehicles here for repair or buy from them. It s not worth it.

Called two other Ford dealerships about installing trailer brake controller for my truck. One Ford dealership had the part but was over an hour drive away and didn't find out if I could get an appointment. The other dealership is 10 minutes away from my home and I had already been trying since a week ago for them to order the part. And they still had not.Called Freedom Ford this morning and not only did they have the part but they were able to get me in this evening to install and program the truck this evening.Service staff was friendly.Parts department knowledgeable and the overall service impeccable.Freedom Ford is about 40 minutes from my home but worth the trip and money well spent. Thank you!Highly recommend their service and parts department.

Had great service from the start. The truth was, I asked about a truck that had already been sold. Levi told me all about it telling me to come down and look at it, ( we re an hour away) so we did. When we got there I was told the truck was sold the previous day Is this a strategy they use? If so it s terrible and very offending to your customers. Do your due diligence with the people. GMC Sierra 2014 1500 was the vehicle.

I purchased a car from them and asked them to repair few issues - they would not do it. What happened was when I drove it home in TN, the engine light came on within 100 miles. They refused to pay for the repairs cause it says as is: no warranty. My friend who owns auto repair shop, he feels they are taking advantage of me being deaf and need to contact an attorney cause it's law for them to repair before selling the cars to customers. Kim is very nice and did her best as she could do to help me.

Went and test drove a new (used) car after work. Was told I would receive a call back the next morning with some payment options (as I had been promised the evening before they would get me the payment I needed). Received no call, called at 3:00 later that evening, salesman (Jeff) stated he had "a busy day" and that their current finance person "wasn't any good." Was told they would work on it the following day when another finance person was there (Marcus). He then stated he would call me back on Friday (3 days later). Received e-mail notifications that they had been running my credit all day, however never called back. Called to have copies of my credit report sent to me so I could look elsewhere. Was told they could get me in the car I wanted for a $3000.00 down payment or they could put me in a brand new care (the one I was purchasing was used and not very expensive) for $700-$800 a month. If you want to hear "I promise" several times with no follow-up, call Jeff!

I got complementary oil changes with my vehicle purchase, but the lady in the quick lane makes me want to change my own oil. She s terrible to deal with and extremely rude.

Due to Google review character limits, this is the abridged version of the review. The full review is on Freedom Ford's facebook page and has basically all the details but is definitely more than pretty much anyone would care to read. Anyways, I always see these places commenting on negative comments/reviews about how to contact them so they can try and make it right. I went ahead and done all that before posting the negative reviews and my issue is still as it was before. Also, this review is in regards to Freedom Ford's Service Department and not their sales staff, as well as Ford Motor Company and their customer service/policies. In 2016, I bought a 2014 Ford Focus at Freedom and it had just under 10,000 miles. Later, the car started doing some shuddering and hesitation when accelerating at slow speeds. I had read some articles and found out this was a pretty common issue with the Ford DPS6 Automatic Transmission as its dual clutch component was prone to failure. I also got a letter about a recall on door latches so I decided to take it to Freedom to have it looked at while it was still under warranty and on August 28, 2017 at 54,400 miles the clutch assembly was replaced under warranty with no issues. I later get a letter from Ford saying that due to "customer satisfaction" they are extending the warranty on the clutch assembly to 7 years and 100,000 miles. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I start having the same issue as before and call Freedom Ford's Service Department and tell them the issues/concerns. When I get in to have the car serviced, I am told the clutch needs replaced however, it will not be covered under warranty due to my car being past 7 years and 100,000 miles. At the date of service my car was 7 years 6 days from the original date of purchase and 100,128 miles. I have been told multiple times by Ford and Freedom Ford that it does not matter it was scheduled for service while it was still under warranty, only that it was past warranty when brought in. In Freedom Ford's defense, their customer service manager said he tried every level of appeal and tried to tell Ford the repair was scheduled while under warranty and the dealership would put up the money they would make on the repair if Ford would cover the rest. He said Ford denied them all. I have no reason not believe this is true after firsthand experience dealing with Ford Motor Company. My problem with Freedom Ford Service is that I feel someone should have told me when I called and explained my problem that I only had a couple days to get my car looked at by Ford or it wouldn't be covered under warranty when they could schedule me, especially since their service manager said this was a common issue. Nothing was mentioned about this until they were telling me I was looking at a 1000 dollar repair out of pocket on the date of visit for service. I was a lifetime Ford customer, but no more. Lesson learned on who to choose to do business with.

The easiest buying experience ever! Was looking for a used Ford Escape. They had one. They sent pics and we were pre-approved through Ford Credit. Test drove it and less than an hour later, we were on our way home. I have spent hours at Honda dealerships before. I just can't believe how low key and easy experience was. This was our second purchase through this dealer and will not be our last.

I did not intend for my original review to be one star. That is why I am editing it. I went there to look at a Jeep, and left there owing it. The entire staff and especially Lee Dye went above and beyond to make your time spent at Freedom a pleasant experience. From personal experience would highly recommend this Dealership when looking for a vehicle, whether new or used.

Great staff and very helpful. After being turned away at Rameys, I decided to give them a try and i left today with my ideal vehicle and a price I could deal with. So far I'm happy with my Dodge and I want to thank Derek Mitchell for his help.

On August 6, 2019 my wife and I took my new Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve in for a sticker due to buying it in WV. After about an hour they brought my truck back up front and we payed for the sticker and got our keys. When I got in my truck there was sticker trash and small pieces of sticker all over my dash and pieces on top of and in my speaker on the dash board. After telling them inside they reached me a paper towel and some hand sanitizer and said here you go I said so ok. Soon after cleaning their mess up a the person who gave me the stuff to clean with came out and asked if their was something he could help me with then all the sudden the man who did the sticker work came out and got loud and tried to fight me and had and razor blade on a stick waving it around at me and threatening me with it the other guy had to get in between us to stop him from swinging the blade on the stick at me. Had to clean up there mess up, threatened with a blade and tried to fight me, and I had to pay for all this. Just WOW I don t know what to think. Horrible

I went in for an alignment because of their great pricing and after that didn't fix the issue, the technician suggested having my tire balanced. That corrected the problem and they didn't even charge anything for balancing it!
