Service manager left some thing to be desired Afro-American big gentleman in the back that was the mechanic was awesome. Be prepared to wait all day long for a seven minute inspection.

It was the worst experience went in there for repairs they didn't even call me to let me know what was going on. I had to keep calling them they kept my car for a week just to find out one of the mechanic wrecked my car whole back in smashed in can't open the truck then they don't even won't to pay for it go there at your own risk.

Opening manager was close to 30 minutes late. After performing the work , offered to perform a 100000 service to do a power steering flush and brake flush. I went ahead with the flushes, only to notice when I went home, I received the wrong flush. Invoice said I got a radiator flush, and brake... I just got a radiator flush somewhere else a month ago, so now I got something done twice in the same month. Very disappointed. Poor customer service.

Made appointment. Once arriving, no wait before tech started on service. Great staff and techs. Would recommend getting any service done at the Tire Choice in Portsmouth.

Just got two tires and an alignment. The staff is very friendly, the tires were very affordable. The wait time was long but just be patient and expect things to take longer than expected because they are short staffed like everywhere else. They seemed to treat every car like it was important and that matters. Every customer was treated that way too. Highly recommend!

Needed my car inspected and was on tight timeline. Not only did he get this done a head of time, but (almost as important) was friendly, courteous and professional. I highly recommend them!

Made an appointment for 3:30. I was told they could not take me , because they have so many people. Can't change the apt, because they except appointments for different things. So misleading and unprofessional and stupid weblie. Plain lied. Don't recommend.

My appointment was at 0800. I did not get called back until 0930. I then left at 1020. This was for a car inspection. Please do not schedule any appointments.

I made an appointment to get my car inspected at 12pm and was told when I arrived 10 minutes early that its first come first serve and they couldn t help me. They don t honor appointments so just go in early ig, if not somewhere else completely

Customer service was A1. Tires were a bit pricey for my budget. However, I got a very good feeling from them. The technician that worked on my tires asked me if he took too long. He fixed everything in good time. The guy at the front desk treated me so kindly and even helped me to get the doughnut put into my trunk correctly. It seems like they stand behind their products and truly care about their customers. Thank you!

Excellent Sevice. The Service Associate who helped me at the 1401 Airline Blvd. in Portsmouth, VA 23707, K. Scott was very professional and gave me excellent customer service. He let me know that as I waited for the servicing of my vehicle, that I could watch TV and I did, but before I knew it, my car was ready. Very quick service. Thank you everyone, because my car ready rather quickly. Thanks Tirechoice, I will definitely be back.

I drove form Choice Tires in Suffolk because they told me it would be a one hour to one hour and a half wait with an appointment when I arrived at this located in Portsmouth as a walk-in they took me right away I was out quickly

This place is awesome! I brought my vehicle in for an inspection the first week of March. They called me about an hour later and informed me the inspection wasn't due until May! They certainly didn't have to do that. It's an older vehicle (25 years old), so I'm always concerned about passing inspection. I just took it in for an inspection this weekend and had them fix a couple things I knew needed to be addressed and it's now good for another year! I love that they are opened on Sundays too! Everyone that works there is very nice and they look out for the customer! That's hard to find.

I went in earlier on Saturday and was seen right away. I was having a strange noise when braking and turning. They test drove my car, put it up and quickly identified the problem.They fixed it and I was out the door. As a woman, I'm always concerned about getting honest and fair service and I can say these guys are trustworthy. I will definitely bring my business here again and again. Thank you!

They said in order to pass inspection they needed to rotate my tires on the rim for another 80$. They did that and both tires went flat within a week. I told them then they said they would charge me for new tires

If I could give zero I would. Took over 4 hrs to have my tire patched. When I came to pick it up they had different charges on my receipt that I never even asked for or claimed. They put on their I declined parts, which was never even asked about any parts to of even declined, but I got charged for that? And they stated customer "wishes to discard old parts" which again, they never asked me and I never, ever said yes to that and if I knew they were going to charge me for that too I would've said no I'll keep the parts. The guy had zero customer service, and they offer military discount, showed him my ID and he didn't give me the discount and didn't even tell me what I was paying for and just told me my charge and I had to ask ummm what exactly am I paying for? I will never return here again

I received excellent, professional 5 star service. I'm very satisfied with the work done on my car. I will return when my car needs service again. The Manager Mr Gordon Dacosta is very courteous, patient & professional.

They got me in for the service I needed and performed repairs in a professional and helpful manner. Price was very reasonable. My tires are now balanced to perfection and the noise I described was properly diagnosed and correction was made to my satisfaction.

I've bought tires here 4x in 6 years. The last time was a year ago. I got a nail and they 'fixed it' 7 weeks ago. It has leaked 4lbs air a day since. I've been in 3x to have it fixed and turned away despite warranty and the extra roadside scam. Why are they open if they never have technicians? Time to call the BBB.

Great place. I needed my registration renewed in NC but it couldn't be done without an emissions inspection. Being out of state you need to provide a service record. They helped with a courtesy inspection free of charge to get this done. Highly recommend!!!

Went in for an inspection, the main desk guy took his time. Although understandably because it was busy at the time and it was just the one guy there. Definitely not a place to go to for expediency. Things seem to be a bit pricey as well but that could just be my ignorance. That being said the person on tge phone was perfectly willing to discuss less pricey options rather than just trying to stick with an upcharge which is commendable.I'm leaving five stars due to their mechanic, after doing some work on my breaks he took the time of his own volition and with no extra charge to put the new plates i had just got on my car. He was also very friendly and helpful. I wish I would have given a tip or something to the guy because he was awesome. They better give that dude a raise or something because it would be a shame to lose him to another shop. Definitely worth your time to at least take a visit.

They are crooked, pure and simple. My mom brought her car in because one of her tires was making a weird noise. They tried to charge her $365 to "align her car". They also said they may have to do some other repairs, they weren't sure what was wrong with it. We realize she was getting ripped off, picked up the car without letting them "fix it," went to get a second opinion at a different tire shop, and they found a huge bolt stuck through the tire. The only thing that was wrong with her vehicle was a bolt in the tire, all she had to do was replace one tire. There's absolutely no way they didn't catch that. They tacked on a bunch of extra stuff to take advantage of an older woman. Absolutely crooked. Do not support this business!

Had a wonderful customer service experience here last week in a timely manner. Robert was very courteous and extremely helpful. Went in for a 32-point inspection to ensure my vehicle was ready for out-of-town travel. The technician discovered a minor oil leak. He and Robert explained the issue in terms I could understand and discussed repair options with me. I received top notch customer service all around and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of auto repair.

I don't give places 5 stars, but this place is deserving of it. Their speedy fast service, superb customer support and working hours are phenomenal. They do state inspections on a weekend and open early. Need to call? They answer. Military friendly, with one of their techs being prior. Highly recommend, and would come back if I needed something.

Awesome customer service and truly great work. They are very honest and don't try to get money out of you for things that you don't need. I like the straight up what's wrong with the car and what's needed to get it fixed. Lastly good quality work for your vehicle

Would not recommend. I had a great first experience at a different location in town. However, at this location I made an oil change appointment and they never took my car back until 1.5 hours past my appointment time. When I asked why it was just getting done and that I made an appointment, the manager working the desk told me we only have one tech. So why did they schedule me an appointment that morning if they don t have the staff to do the work? Then he says they ll get me in and out fast since I had already waited so long. Well it s another 45 minutes until my car is done. Then I ask when I am checking out, if I could get offered a complementary discount for the extremely long wait for something that was scheduled. The manager says very sarcastically, I could do a lot of things and I paid full price. Also didn t get the systems/maintenance review that they advertise as coming with all oil changes, because they were too busy for that too. Won t be returning.

I went for a tire patch. Mr.Gordon took care of me promptly and gave me updates while I lounged around. The price was affordable and he didn't try to convince me to upgrade or pressure me into stuff. Thanks, G.

Nick A. Was super helpful with my husband and his car, we have had endless problems with the car and it hasn t been drivable since October, not only that but we had also had SEVERAL other mechanics look at the problems. After dumping tons of money into this car we decided to take it to a chain, two days later car is in working condition and DRIVABLE. As well as that they had gotten our inspection completed for us before even asked/requested. All I can say is Nick and his crew is amazing and are definitely deserving of more then just these five stars! Thank you for the amazing work.
