Update..I took it back to them and they fixed my concerns. You're going to have to take my word that the scratches are gone because that shine on my truck is too good. The only suggestion I have is they really shouldn't tell me noone was in the front of my truck when someone was. Other than that they are back on my greatest body shop list.Someone needs to explain to me how I took my brand new just bought in April Armada in to get the bumper fixed and get it back with a piece of the rails missing with scratches on the right side. Shout out to whoever washed the car because that thing was so shiny it was hard to take pictures of the scratches

After getting backed into from the side, USAA referred me here. I had an appointment 2 days later, then just 2 days later I got my car back. Paint matched PERFECTLY. Everyone was very nice, the process was really smooth and all I had to do was drop off and pick up. The rim too! But I'm so glad my car is back to brand new again and WAY earlier than I expected!!! They did an EXCELLENT job on my car. They stayed in contact and sent updated text alerts about every detail from the day I left my car until pick up. I went right next door and picked up my rental with NO problems. They also cleaned my car top notch inside and out. Paint job look fantastic. I would recommend Rick Hendrick to my Great Grandma, so that tells you...THEY ARE AWESOME! Outstanding customer service as well!

My service advisor was Alex Mears and from the moment of meeting him to the end result he was very pleasant. He explained the entire process of repairing my vehicle. I was sent updates as they went from one step to the next, I always knew what was happening to my vehicle as well as sending pictures. The staff are very pleasant and professional. My entire experience with Rick Hendrick was exemplary!!! I would highly recommend them if you're ever in need of any vehicle body repair. Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I took my 2014 Toyota Sienna here for repairs, and the team at Rick Hendrick did a fantastic job. The staff was professional, courteous, and kept me posted of the progress of repairs as they happened. The repairs looked great, and came with a warranty. I especially appreciate the extra mile that management went to make my repairs perfect. I ve used Rick Hendrick twice now, and been very happy with their service - highly recommend.

Went here after I my old Honda got rear-ended. Even with my older car, they treated me with respect and the receptionist was very sympathetic to my situation. They worked with me and helped me understand why certain repairs had to be done. And the final results were GREAT! Quick to get my baby back, polite, solid work! Kudos guys! Please keep up the good work!

I believed my estimator name is Alex. He is wonderful please give him a promotion with a raise. He is customer service. He goes out if his way to make you happy and to make sure you are satisfied and you dont have any questions. Your staff is awesome. I will always be a loyal customer. Anytime I needed any of my car repair I come here and you guys take excellent care of me. I love it here ..Thank you so much for valuing your Customers and your prompt attention.

They did amazing work on my truck both times I've brought it to them. Derrick is an awesome man! He did some extra work for me that wasn't in the original estimate! They will definitely take great care of your vehicle there! Highly recommend Rick Hendrick Collision Center Portsmouth!

I had some damage to my Cadillac fixed here. Gotta say they did excellent work! I couldn't even tell my car had ever been damaged when I picked it up. The staff was friendly and explained the process of the repairs. I was kept informed throughout the repair and my car was done a day earlier than expected!

Great service! They fixed my car quickly and even shined some of my headlights. When I came to pickup my car they did not rush me and waited while I examined everything. Good communication and customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Strongly recommended for all your vehicle repair needs.Needing a vehicle repair shop usually means things are already at a low, but the friendly staff at Rick Hendrick's are quick to get you in for an estimate, are realistic about the repair timeline and keep you updated every step of the way. Both times my car had needed repair in the days before I was to leave the state and they were able to get my vehicle in and the repair process started before I left. I know I don't have to worry about my vehicle when it's in their hands.

Ryan was awesome. I stopped by after I tried to use touch up paint to fix a spot where a rock hit my front bumper. Ryan was so helpful and removed the touch up paint and even buffed it. Looks brand new. Ryan is a great asset to your business and I will definitely recommend to friends. Thanks again Ryan!!!!

I highly recommend Hendricks Collision Center for your autobody needs. I recently had a meeting with a deer on US 17. My truck may have won that battle, but not without some major front end damage to my 14 year old truck. The work they did was amazing. The repairs were completed within 5 days of dropping my truck off. What I got back made this truck look like new. I have been driving this truck now for over 6 months and have had no issues with the work performed. I would definitely return to this shop in any future deer meetings!

If it wasn't for the gift card they gave me I would have given them a zero. As a provider in the area I understand COVID can make things difficult but my estmated time was consistently pushed further back, which lead to me spend more money on a rental car. When I arrived on the day they told me to pick up my car I found out it was finished but it was still at their Norfolk location. Also, I waited over 20min for the Regional manager to tell me my car was in Norfolk. He offered to pick up my car but I was so angry I went to the location myselfGood: 1) The front desk women was very professional and empathetic 2) I can tell the regional manager wanted to solve the situation 3) Gift cardBad: 1) Overall probably one of the more frustrating transactions I ever had.

My insurance company recommend that I take my car here, due to a pothole damage, which caused $2400! The service was OUTSTANDING, Renee called me to give me updates on my car every time they worked on it. My entire front car was damage, I picked my car up and it was unbelievable, my 2013 Malibu looked like it was a showcase model..Their work is AWESOME!!! Love it.Renee has an EXCELLENT PERSONALITY...I went to work and talked about how great their work STANDS OUT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! GREAT JOB, RICK HENDRICK CREW!!!

I have had work done at this location twice now and the front end (communication) is great! The work, not so much. I got my bumper replaced due to being rear ended in March 2017, and the bumper still is not properly secured, its on and won't come off on its own but the driver side is sticking out slightly (October 2017). I was told that they can't find the clips that need to be put on. Next, my car was broken into in August 2017 so I figured I would give them another shot and go ahead and fix my bumper at the same time. I had to point out several things that when I picked up my vehicle: 1 the chrome piece that is on the keypad on the driver door that they replaced was put on upside down & dented (they were suppose to get a new one), 2 the window got scratched as the window rolled down due to something that was on the inside of the door that they replaced. (granted things malfunction, but you should have checks done and your customer should NOT be the one pointing out careless mistakes on your part!!) So I was told once the new window and bumper clips came in they would call and get everything done at once. ITS NOW THE END OF OCTOBER AND STILL NOTHING!!!!! Needless to say I am not 100% happy with the service I was provided. SO if you decide to utilize the services at Rick Hendricks Collision Center, please be VERY alert and inspect every detail.

I came in a while ago to get an estimate for my side mirror that was damaged by an inconsiderate person parked next to me at the mall. Ryan was my estimator and he was very thorough in evaluating the damage and even took the time to attempt to buff the scratches out. He was very personable and showed empathy toward my situation. Having your vehicle damaged sucks, especially when you have to pay for the repair yourself, but Ryan did a great job making this a positive experience for me.

I took my truck in to have a scratch on the roof repaired. Dropped it off on a Monday evening to have repairs started Tuesday morning, here we are a week later and still not complete on my truck. Stated they were waiting on the insurance company on one update phone call, next update I got was they went ahead and started the work without waiting on the insurance company, just got off the phone with them and they stated that it wont be painted until later this afternoon or maybe even as late as tomorrow morning. No phone calls were called to update us on the delay, had to call them to get updates myself. I would not recommend them to anybody, unless you have a lot of time to let them keep your vehicle.

This is an excellent body shop. My entire experience was positive from the front office staff to the damage adjusters, to the actual repair work. I would definitely recommend Rick Hendrick Collision Center and I completely trust the high quality of their work.

My husband and I received outstanding service the other day from Rich Lawson and Derrick. We didn't have an appointment but they were able to get us in and make repair same day. Both gentlemen were curtious and professional, unusual these days! Would highly recommend this business base on our experience today.

Had a minor repair needed on the bumper. Since I had them repair my vehicle a few years ago, I called and got an appointment the same day. Everyone was helpful from the employee working at the front desk to the technician. Brian, the estimator took the car right back and it was repaired at no charge.

I recently took my car to Ricks Hendricks after my car was involved in an accident. I was extremely hesitant after reading the reviews, however I am VERY pleased. The staff was very pleasant to do all they could to make this process go as smooth as possible. They gave me updates via texts every times something was done to my car to keep me updated. When the work was complete my car looked as good as new. He even pulled my car around and had the air conditioner on for me since the heat index was 104 degrees that day.

Rick Hendrick Collison Portsmouth fixed my 2008 Dodge Dakota truck. Excellent customer service, and Tyler Magness took great care of my vehicle. I definitely had a five-star experience from start to finish. Stayed in touch through purchasing parts and giving me status updates. Thank you for the good care. I highly recommend this company.

Derrick Boggess Production Manager was extremely nice and helpful to me and my children. He helped get my car s paint job fixed and corrected like new when I hit a curb at the banks ATM. The staff were professional and very friendly. I appreciate you all and I will recommend services to anyone in need. Thank you again Derrick and all staff.

I've used them several times and their Estimator, Rich Lawson, has always taken great care of me...Hell, he even remembered me from my dog in my van!.Repairs were done promptly and each person has always been very polite and a pleasure to deal with!Recently the spray shield come off during the snow weather... took it in expecting them to say, "Sorry...", but Rich looked it over, realized there had been a problem with the part and said, "No problem, we'll take care of it."Everyone is easy to deal with when things go well... The real difference is how they handle a problem... Rick Hendrick Collision Center and Rich Lawson came through for me with total class and grace. My car was repaired under USAA, Rich Lawson was very helpful with explaining the process of the repairs and the office staff kept me updated. Once the repairs on my car were complete it looked brand new!! They also have a great warranty on their repairs! Highly recommend if you have USAA.

Had some body work done after someone hit the front driver side of my wife s minivan. The insurance company had us take it there. After the work was completed the van was making a strange rattling sound when turning or hitting bumps. My wife had to take them a check that the insurance company issued her about a week later. She mentioned the noise and they said they would take a look. After an hour of waiting they gave her the car and said it should be good. We noticed that it was still making a strange noise as well as the tire light was on. I took it to my mechanic the following week and he said that the main bolt holding the frame together was loose and that this was very dangerous. Not only that, but the tire pressure on 2 tires was 28, 1 was 30, and the 1 in the back was 41. They re supposed to be 36. I had a tire with a nail replaced about a month earlier and they were all check and there was no issue until after getting the van back and noticing the light on. I m pissed that this incompetent company put my wife and two children s life in danger. I have no clue why the tires would have been deflated/inflated since they were doing body work.... and don t know how they couldn t tighten the freakin bolt that holds the damn car together. I think someone needs to investigate to ensure public safety of cars that have been through this company. How many other vehicles has this happened to and accidents and possible deaths have occurred because of their incompetence. Not acceptable. Beware

One of the most satisfying customer service experiences I've had. They showed me friendly, polite and courteous service at every turn and were very helpful diagnosing and correcting my problem.I dealt with the front desk, the manager and the estimator and all were very professional, answered my questions clearly and worked with me to get my repairs done quickly, efficiently and economically. I couldn't have asked for more.
