I recently purchased a truck bed cover from Leonard, Bobby and his associate were very responsive and helpful. They were able to install my bed cover in a timely fashion on the same day it was delivered. Bobby stated before his arrival that this particular location had some short-comings. I can assure you he has restored it to a top-notch, smooth operating location. Will likely be returning soon to purchase a topper.

Received my storage shed today without incident. It's really nice and sturdy. Delivery was on time as scheduled. The overall experience from purchase to delivery was great. Great customer service. Bobby (mgr) followed up with me after delivery. I would definitely recommend them.

I'm a little disappointed in the service that I received. The Richmond location gave me great service, but the trailer was damaged, so I reached out to the Portsmouth, VA location trying to find one without damage. They ensured me that they had one without damage, so I made the 1.5 hour trip just to get another trailer that was damaged. Due to my situation I needed it today, so I had to go ahead and buy it, but I would of saved 3 hours of driving if they wouldn't have told me that it was not damaged. They have a great product for sure, but unfortunately you can not take their word when it comes to detail.

My experience just a week ago, in the pouring down rain, was tepid, to say the least! I think as people, we often forget that - you don't get a second chance to make a FIRST IMPRESSION! You might get a second chance, but it won't be a first impression. After calling to inquire about a dog house, I was told there was 1 XL left in stock and that the delivery fee would be $50.00 from Airline Blvd to Suffolk. I decided to take the ride to check out the dog house in person. I arrived to find 3 gentlemen sitting with no customers inside nor outside that I could identify. I asked about the dog houses, but did not indicate that I called prior. I was finger pointed to the window first, but those dog houses were too small for my Pit, after being told that the XL one was in one of the storage sheds, I said ok and waited - I finally said - well, I'm not able to get in the storage shed - however, I would like to see the house for myself. The man got up - got in his vehicle and sped off to the other end of the business - I cautiously followed even though I wasn't officially asked to. The dog house was nice and I didn't feel it was overly priced. It looked well put together. Since it was a rainy day and I had not acquired a truck for transport, I asked for a business card and then asked how much delivery would be, all without revealing that I had called previously. I was told delivery of 17 miles would be $70.00 and to boot - as far as it would be delivered would be the driveway - REALLY - six more steps would be the back yard! Anyhow, the dog house is still there unless he sold it to someone else. It would have been nice to meet in the middle, you never know where your next blessing will come from - I wasn't asking for or expecting anything FREE! I wouldn't even have wasted my time to drive the 17 miles if I didn't have the money. Maybe another time :)I believe in doing what is right, so I am attaching this addendum to my review above. This past weekend, I sent my son back to this same business to pick-up the above mentioned dog house that was being held for me after I made some phone calls to check if it was still available. To make a long story bearable, when my son went to pick-up the dog house, the price had been reduced, so my son called me and immediately I thought - son - you have the wrong dog house - he assured me he did not! Later, my son called me after looking at the receipt again and listed on the receipt was a $20.00 reduction of the price, listed as a "Customer Service Discount." It is only fair that I share that information with whoever reads reviews as I do. To some, $20.00 might not be a big deal, for me, it is the principle of the $20.00 more than the denomination of the $20.00. This business could have said the heck with that lady and her opinion and either sold the dog house to the next customer rather than holding it or sold it to me for the original price - instead, they respected the customer service aspect of the previous situation and extended the olive branch from negative to positive - that I can respect and I felt should be shared - everyone deserves another opportunity to present themselves in a better light.

My experience with the customer service at the facility located in Portsmouth Virginia has been absolutely terrible! I order the shed and the product is very good. But their customer service in delivering the product have been very bad to the point where I had to call the district manager and I still did not get any favorable results. They constantly gave me dates and times that they were going to deliver the shed and never showed up or called to let me know what was going on. A couple weeks ago I ordered a ramp to go with the shed and I have received the same miserable customer service. They are either the most incompetent employees I've ever dealt with or they are just a bunch of flat out liars.

After checking with several of the box stores for sheds I decided to stop by the Leonard's on Portsmouth Blvd. The sheds were available on the premise for inspection and to help me find the one that fits my needs. I found the shed that exceeded my expectations. The salesperson Bobby was professional, polite and patience ( I think I went into every shed on the premise :) Next, the paperwork was quick and I am very pleased with my purchase....can't wait for it to be delivered. I would highly recommend Leonard's to my family and friends.

We are excited about helping my sisterNlaw finish out her new SheShed building. And we thought the delivery guy and installer were professional and capable and polite. The End.But first, we have to (1) fix building threshold support beam due to damage which occurred before even being delivered to us (a $500 repair she received only $252 in credit for.) Then we need to (2) add the required trimmer supports that are lacking at the window openings, for proper window install. One out of three windows had this.Next: (3) be sure of the dimensions you want: my SIL requested a 12x20 building. No one mentioned to her those were the outside dimensions. She received a 10x19 interior dimension. She specifically told manager she wanted a 12x20 size due to storage system which was to be installed. Nowhere could she find information that explained dimensions were referenced for outside perimeter, NOT interior. Bummer.She ll have to secure a carpenter to fix the issues mentioned in order to get her building up and running.Be specific about what you want, and get it in writing. Respectfully submitted.

Do not buy anything from this business. I bought and had to return a Leer truck bed cap due to leaking. They shipped in a second cap with the same leak, sent the original back to the factory to be fixed and it came back worse than the first one.While there for the third cap install another customer came up with the same problem to have his cap removed and shipped back to Leer. This even after I was told I was the only customer in the country to have this problem.The wiring for the dome lights in the cap was run to the ignition switch so I had to have the engine running or the key on for the light to come on even though I paid extra for the dome light switch on the back door.The wiring into the cab is just hanging under the truck and not supported anywhere. It is even laying on the parking brake cable.Shoddy work at best and dangerous at worst.The installer ran into my tailgate with the forklift and just shrugged it off.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. Was given wrong information DESPITE a site check. Took fence panel & post down as suggested only to have the delivery driver refuse to place it where it was originally agreed upon with the MANAGER. Ended up wasting $500+ to replace a fence that I didn't have to, had I been given the correct information to begin with! Was a TOTAL BREACH OF CONTRACT & of course their corporate office was of NO HELP WHATSOEVER. Will be suing to recover money for the fence as well as lost wages from wasting a day in court. BUYERS BEWARE!!Ended up buying a BIGGER, BETTER, LESS EXPENSIVE shed from LOWE'S. Was built ON SITE in the EXACT SPOT I wanted it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT LEONARD'S.
