Wonderful small dealership / repair shop that specializes in foreign (Mercedes & BMW) automobiles. Jon really knows his craft. Many members of my family have purchased cars from him and go to him exclusively for service. 100% would recommend.

I had a major issue going on with my car and needed it fixed asap, I called around several places and pretty much everywhere was way out, I explained what was going on with my car and they got me in immediately. Upon diagnosing my car they informed me that repairs might be awhile based on what was going on and scheduling. Needless to say they got my car back to me in no time and did a quality job. I m giving five stars to them because of the work and also the customer service. They kept me informed on what was going on the entire time. If you have to get work done I highly recommend these guys, they don t rush jobs or pressure you. Thanks again!

Can't say enough great things about these guys! Been servicing my cars here since they opened- reliable, honest work by the best in the area for BMW & Mercedes. Recently saw a "franchise dealer" estimate- was more than 3x the cost had they done it here! They Never disappointIve been taking my BMW here for a couple years now and I've never had an issue. Kent is superb when it comes to the customer service aspect, and John is top notch in determining what's wrong with the vehicle. Pricing is always fair, way better than you will EVER get at the dealership..and they always get me in and out very quick! Great experience...a couple years back I went on a referral to get valve lifters updated under warranty because they are known to fail in these model s63 amg...while it was there I was educated on the head bolts being a common problem of failing in these models also so had that done while I was there also...car runs like new...no problems...they really know their stuff...honest and a step above the dealership if you ask me...more personal and they enjoy what they do...I appreciate them and will return if needed...your not just a number where they just get you in and out like the dealership and not just some school bread mechanics relying just on a computer...they can turn a wrench also...highly recommended

Second time I've used them and can't be more pleased with Kent and his team. Communications are always easy and friendly. They're on the right side of town (for me). I've done two oil changes there ~$225 each time. That's more expensive than my non-BMW cars for a single visit, but comparable or cheaper considering the 10K mile vs 5K mile interval. They build a history for my car. I'll be seeing them for as long as I own the car unless I have CPO warranty work that needs to be done at the dealer.Services: Tires, Oil change

Amazing team! My highest recommendation to this shop. I have had my Mercedes for 8 years, and have taken it to many shops over the years - Texas, Rhode Island, Florida and Virginia - Import Autowerks is my favorite, hands down! Kent & Jon were wonderfully nice, honest, and priced competitively. Make them your go-to shop - you will not regret it!

My BMW is my pride and joy. Typically taken into the dealership for maintenance. Heard a lot of great things about IA through the car community and decided that I d give them a try when my Oil Filter Housing Gasket went out on my 135i. Kent and the gang were incredible and easy to talk to. They were able to get the car in and fixed quickly but also did a great job. It s been a little over a month now since I had the car in and had no issues. The oil leak has been corrected and she s been running smoothly.While it was in, I had some new BBS wheels mounted that I ve been wanting to get on the car for some time now and they did the install and took excellent care of the wheels! Zero scratches or anything of the sort and they look Amazing!! Overall super happy with the experience and will definitely go back! A++Thanks Import Autowerks!!!

Honest and Impeccable Customer ServiceI was a customer of Import Autowerks 5 years ago. Today I got my new Mercedes CL 550 serviced at Import Autowerks. Kent took the time to listen to my concerns that I had about my vehicle and assisted me with choosing the services for the vehicle. I received a phone call from Kent informing me that my car was ready. He explained my car was inspected for my concerns and for any services that was due. He informed me at this time there was nothing due at this time and explained that the noise I was concerned about was not causing any issues or a check engine light. They didn t even charge me for diagnosing my vehicle. Because of Kent and Jon excellent, honest, and impeccable customer service I will continue to take my vehicle to their repair shop to get serviced.and for repairs.

After moving to the area from out of state, I found Import Autowerks through google and used them based on the great reviews. All the good talk about them is true. What a great find and place to do business with!

I feel very at ease and comfortable taking my Mercedes E320 to Import Auto. They show me good honest service in s timely manner. They have a friendly environment at the shop. The price for my services has been very affordable. I do not let anyone else work on my car. I'm an Import Auto customer for the life of my car.

Kent and John are really a blessing!!! They have great customer service... fast and reliable service!! Kent explained the issues with my vehicle... provided a detailed expense and fixed same day!!! Thanks for all your hard work!!! Hands down go to auto shop!!!Kent offers education, they go above and beyond!!! I know good service.... My Mercedes is back on the road thanks to Import Autowerks!!!Update shortly after car was fixed it broke down again. They didn t fix the issue but they got the money....

I brought in my 2013 X3 BMW in for a engine replacement. Kent kept me informed every step of the way. He sent me pictures and communicated with me along the process. This is a Shop that cares about the customers. Very rare. The shop was neat and clean! During the covid-19 pandemic John had my vehicle fixed in a timely matter. Thanks guys!!! You have a customer for life!!!

I triggered the SRS warning light by removing a seat and failing to disconnect the battery. After getting frustrated with local MB dealers, I found Import Autowerks. Kent was quick to return my voicemail and Jon was able to clear the error code quickly. On the phone, they quoted me a very fair price (much lower than a dealer) and then would not even take my money for the reset! Both Jon and Kent were professional, courteous and generally good people. I would highly recommend them for MB/BMW repair. Too bad for me that they don't normally work on Sprinter vans!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

When Kent called me to tell me the repairs would actually cost LESS than the amount I previously agreed to I was ecstatic. Very honest, professional and courteous. The turn around time was great and the repairs they did to my 2010 BMW 528xi were very reasonably priced. I was kinda excepting a wash and vac when I picked my car up but at least it runs great :)

Three years ago I wrote a review I felt was honest and forthright. The review I wrote three years ago is at the bottom of this one. Today I feel as though the business has become too hungry and and not as customer friendly as a company should be. We disagreed on a service that wasn t due. I asked for certain things to be checked and received an untrue diagnosis. I ve sent many friends and neighbors to this business because of the way we were treated 3 years ago. Today I can only say beware.(We received quick, precise and professional workmanship. There was a welcoming feeling from our inquiring phone call until the time we picked our vehicle up. I would recommend this business to family and friends. Job well done)

What a great place to have your car serviced. They are very knowledgeable and they treat your car as if it was theirs. I have had nothing but the best service and I will continue to put them above the rest whenever I need my BMW serviced. No beating around the bush or extra bogus cost. Try them out, you won't be disappointed. They even sell luxury cars, just in case you feel froggy and want to trade yours in. I have been tempted many times when I pull up to their service center.

I have been a customer of Import Autowerks since Jon first opened the shop. It's a great family owned business. I bought my first Mercedes from Jon a couple years ago and was very pleased with the car and the service I have received. We decided to trade our Mercedes sedan in for a BMW SUV and Import Autowerks was my first choice to check out their cars. We found the perfect vehicle for a great price. I won't take my vehicle to anyone but Jon. They have always been honest and are very good about giving you an estimate before they do any work. Thanks Jon and Kent for having a trustworthy car business.

Superior service!It was time for an oil change, inspection, tire rotation, and a brake check up. I can always count on Jon and Kent to get everything done in a timely manner! Furthermore the brake issue I was having was a faulty part that they found was still under the part manufacturer warranty and took care of that for me. It s a bit of hike to get their shop for me, but always worth it because of the peace of mind I have after they work on my car!

I would rate Import Autoweks, Inc as the best in efficiency and effectiveness. They are true professionals and always deliver on time. I love their demeanor and they seem to really care about the consumer and explains to you what is going on in jargon that you can comprehend. I highly recommend them in the Hampton Roads area even over the dealerships. Keep up the good work. I am a customer for life!

I had an accident in my 2013 Active Hybrid5 which broke the tie rod, control arm, and other associated equipment.Knowing the extreme costs involved with repair work at a BMW Dealer, I googled my area for a service department who could perform the work for a fraction of the cost.When I came across Import AutoWerks and read the great reviews, I had to give them the chance.Unable to be driven, while sitting at Pep Boys (who couldn t do the work), I had my vehicle towed to Import AutoWerks.Kent, the owner, sent me a text promptly after receiving my car and gave me a reasonable time frame for completing the work which I was fine with.He also kept me updated while completing the work, which is not common.Once the work was completed, I arrived and test drove my car to ensure there were no issues, and I must say that the car drove better than before..... there were no chassis stabilization lights on, and it ran smooth.Needless to say, this was a good experience, and no, it wasn t an inexpensive repair, but compared to what a BMW dealer would have charged me, I was pleased.I highly recommend Import AutoWerks to anyone looking for quality work for a reasonable price.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Jon and Kent are absolutely fantastic! Import Autowerks is the only place I trust taking my vehicles too. They are thorough, pricing is fair and they do a great job at communicating. I highly recommend them to everyone in the Hampton Roads area.

Best customer service hands down. If I could give 10 stars I would. Worked with my schedule, had me out quickly and not to mention, all I had to do was get on my car and go. Door was opened for me and keys were already inside. My car is my pride and joy and I wouldn't trust to take my Mercedes anywhere but to these guys.

We have had out two Mercedes lovingly cared for over the past two years by Kent and Jon at Autowerks. They are extremely easy to work with and have a tremendous understanding of the technical nature of our cars. They have worked our appointments in to meet our busy schedules and the cars are always fixed correctly the first time. Their service is always at an affordable price with the cars ready at the quoted price and on time. I would recommend Autowerks to anyone who respects the work of true professionals at reasonable prices and wants their cars superbly maintained.

Import autowerks is a family owned and operated repair shop and used car dealership that is friendly, reasonably priced and does exceptionally quality work. If you own a BMW or Mercedes I wouldn't take your vehicle anywhere else for maintenance and repairs except import autowerks. Took my 2015 BMW 750li in for a check engine light. Received a call from Kent saying they found the issue and the repair would be $765.00, but BMW would cover for FREE, under an extended warranty for this issue, if I took it to a dealer. That s what I call honesty and integrity. Any other shop would ve taken my money and ran. Not these guys. They have a customer for life and I would not hesitate to refer all friends and family to them. Great work guys!!! See you for my next oil change.

I went here to inquire about a 2013 BMV I saw online and when I walked in I was not greeted and none of my questions about the car was answered. Then I explained to Kent that I wanted to pay cash for the vehicle which was 11,980 and he told me they don t take cash because of IRS reporting. I was never shown the vehicle and the guy just stood there and looked at me. After a few minutes he said he was not able to help me. That s crazy they let a 12,000 sale walk today. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone they are very unprofessional.

These guys were great!! My timing chain had broken on my 328i in the middle of traffic i had to wait hours to get it towed and then called and asked if i could have the car towed to their establishment with pretty short notice and thankfully they agreed! Upon the car arriving there I had gotten a call back that my engine was completely wrecked and I would need a new one because their were metal shavings in my oil pan.I was quoted a price of repair that was 100s cheaper than the dealer unfortunately the repair was so massive that I had to lean on family to help me with the cost and they opted to get the repairs done at the dealer because they live out of town and didn't understand how well known these guys are. . .so I had to go along with it.The crew was so proffesional and understanding I recommend these guys fully. Thanks for being understanding I will definitely bring my car back to you all for future repairs.
