My wife and I had been taking our vehicles to Dave at D&J Automotive for years. Dave is a great guy and is very knowledgeable and honest. His prices are fair. He was honest with us and said my wife's escape wasn't worth repairing anymore. Anyone else would have just kept on fixing what went wrong just to get the money. He cares about his costumers. Unfortunately, the wife and I now have newer vehicles that do not need as much repairs so we haven't seen Dave in a while. But he will still be the first place we will go when we do. Thank you Dave.

Great mechanic! My Jeep needed a state inspection & Dave also found that my serpentine belt was cracked & ready to give out. He replaced at a very reasonable price. Friendly shop with honest service & prices!

I used to go here when I lived in the area 7 years ago. I just moved back and can't wait to see Dave again! He was AWESOME and the shop was absolutely the best. Always fair, honest, fast. I hope nothing has changed! I'll be calling first thing Monday to schedule. Dave always loved my old 4 Runner, so I feel very comfortable reusing this shop again to care for my newer Toyota.

Without a doubt, the finest auto mechanic I ve ever known and an even better person. I ve been going to Dave for more than 20 years now and I have recommended his shop to everyone I know who needed car repair. Honest, fair, reasonable, knowledgeable, takes the time to get to know you as a person and not just a customer. He knows his craft and cares about a job well done. Thanks Dave for over 20 years of excellent service and over 20 years of better friendship.

I've got the utmost confidence in all the repairs they have done for me. They are fair, honest and most of all great at what they do. The repair times are reasonably fast and accurate. I needed a repair shop I could trust to fix the cars I drive my grand children around in and they are the ones. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work on their vehicles. We took the truck to Dave at 9:00 and he called me at 12:00 and told me the truck was ready. We picked it up and she is running great. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Mr. Dave and his crew are the most professional and curtious mechanics in the tidewater area. It's hard to find a mechanic that you can trust he is reasonable and accurate on diagnosis. I highly recommend D & J Automotive for all your car needs.

I dropped off my car just to get my headlights replaced and it has been sitting there for days. That is my only car and the workers owner is not helpful at all. He didn t tell me what he needed to finish my headlights the same day. He didn t know my lightbulbs required a special piece to be in properly so it had to stay in the shop because he was going to charge me double it I took it home. Now that I took him my piece he has still not started on my car!!!! He s had my car for 3+days. I got my bumper fixed faster than this. Do not waste your time and money here.

Super small Parking lot shared with a bar. You can expect plenty of door dings from the drunks. But nobody brings good cars here it s just a bunch of junk half torn apart cars nobody cares about anyway. I won t be back due to their lack of follow up. My car was backed into by someone.

Needed some auto repairs done that our usual place couldn't manage and found D & J Automotive just by a stroke of good luck. They correctly diagnosed the problem our usual place misdiagnosed, fixed what needed to be repaired quickly and for a very reasonable price. No trying to trick you into getting unnecessary repairs at D & J's! Dave does good, honest work without over-selling or overcharging you like some chain stores. No more chain stores for us, D & J Automotive is our new shop for auto repairs. Trust me, They know what they are doing and will treat you fairly.

Quick service at a fair price. I had my power steering fixed here and when I got home I noticed they even filled my tires. I know it's a little thing, but it made me want to use them exclusively.

I Google looking for a auto repair company and after reading reviews I called and left message for company. I received a call back which is unusual now a days. Took my car in this morning was fixed at a reasonable price.I have found my repair place to go.. If you need repairs please go there..Thanks to everyone there!!!!

SO unfortunately I had to bring my car back here :( . But, yet again - FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! I would 100% recommend this shop to any friends in SF. These guys take care of your car, and give excellent customer service. My car looked good as new when I brought it home (again) lol. Thanks D&J!!!!!!

Excellent work done and for a very good price. I had a project truck with a ton of problems which they took under their belt and made extraordinary efforts to correct. The crew there went above and beyond what I expected and never gave up.
