This is a great place to get work done on your semi or fleet! The team their works like a NASCAR pit crew and gets work done amazingly fast. They also beat the rates of the competition and still provide a high level of service, quality and attention to detail. As an added bonus, the owner is always onsite and personally oversees repairs. They take customer service very seriously and will make sure you are satisfied with their work.

First and foremost if I can give this company 10 stars I would, but unfortunately, this application does not allow me to tell you the whole story! I recommend every truck driver that is in the Portsmith area if you are ever in need of service to your tractor trailer I highly recommend This company! I ve never seen such professionalism coming from payments to hospitality, communication, and just to be honest with you a staff that make you feel like you ve known them all your life ! I m very fortunate to be able to have been first and foremost, having my life saving because of a carbon monoxide situation dealing with the deaf system, but also having to replace five tires that were bad on my tractor and get a great deal as well as a dinner be able to play slot machines and have a place to use the restroom and have someone who don t even know you give you complete trust because of your character. It means everything and I m truly appreciative for Dwayne the owner, a.k.a. the white guy even if you can t find a place at the truckstop he got spots for some tractor and trailer plus they got a great casino here as well. I highly recommend this place you get the best service and to top it all off who do you know that comes in on a Sunday and fix your tractor and Feed you! Such a class act! I highly recommend! This is the best repair shop!! They do fast and quality work! Dewayne was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to diagnosing the problem and finding affordable solutions. Definitely will be taking all my trucks there from now on!!

I took my truck to Cottles Enterprises with a shaking and vibrating problem and not only did Dawayne and his team immediately diagnose my truck s problem, they also fixed it fast and had me back on the road again making money!Respectfully, I have to take my hat off to them. They did a good job on my truck! At first I didn t know what type of service to expect because of a bad experience I had with a previous mechanic shop, but from the jump, Dawayne and his team ensured me that they were professional and I had nothing to worry about, which they undoubtedly proved in the end.This is definitely a truck repair mechanic shop for truckers! They work with you not against you!

Of all my years of experience as a truck driver, I ve never met any roadside service company and individual as this young man. He is the most fairest of service providers I ve ever met. His personality is the most kindest, most professional, and has the most honor and integrity I ve ever met of anybody in the roadside business. His business acumen is in keeping with the highest of practice and intrepidity of any business type. His attention to detail, excellent communication skills and dedication to safety is of the highest caliber of any professional service.Where as other providers that I called for, before he, failed to answer their phone at 4 o clock in the morning, this poor gentleman whom I woke up, made every effort to let me know when and how soon he could get to meet; & met it. Due to the nature of traffic on interstate 64 in the Newport News area, he arrived with not one but two trucks. One truck to set up as a safety barrier and the other, the work truck.Both he and his employee did an excellent job in the timeframe given of insurance. I was back on the road safely. His price in my opinion was undervalued in the bill that I received, and he did so happily. As an A Christian, an American, a US Marine, A Professional Truck Driver, a Dedicated Husband, Son and Brother; I encourage anybody and everybody to reach out if you re in this area and need service on your truck. You don t know me, but please place value on what I say to reach out to him if you ever are in a bad situation & need assistance. I m ashamed to say I forget the young man s name but if you re reading this, and you still have my phone number please reach out and one day we can sit down and enjoy beer and barbecue on my treat. The truck broke down on the side of the road Saturday. We called at least 12-15 companies to get a tow or roadside service. Most were not answering or busy. Some even stated they would call back and never did. We finally called Cottle. From the moment the phone was answered you could hear they wanted to assist. Dewayne was knowledgeable and went over and beyond with his customer service in locating the part and ensuring the truck was good to go. He even explained what I needed to ask the mechanic back home who did not do a thorough job which is why the truck stopped working. I recommend this company and will be sharing their contact information with other companies. The customer service was superb, they are trustworthy and their prices are reasonable. Dewayne even offered water to the driver who had been stuck for hours in this heat on the side of the road. Thank you!

I really appreciate Dwayne and his team coming out on a Sunday evening and repairing an electrical issue in my semi. They showed up timely and took care of the issue. He was friendly, took the time to explain what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it.

There are no words that can express the amount of pure gratitude I have for this company! I was under the impression I needed front brakes from another company because they were trying to pull more money out of me. These guys came and installed two front tires on my 26 foot box truck with ease. Told me I had plenty of life in my brakes and saved me a ton of money. My trailer was badly shifted, practically could not be fixed. Called these guys and they were out on the road service quick, Dewayne was very good at communicating the situation as much as fixing my trailer. Very happy with the service they have provided. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Felt like I was treated like family

Great guys here, got me up rolling quickly when my drive axle nearly fell out. Great fair price for the work they did. I called them around 6pm, gave them the needed information and within 30 minutes they were on site. I needed a rim as well as tire so they were very professional and mounted the tire prior to coming out. Which made it a very fast roadside repair. I will be using them anytime I'm near this area! Great service,helpful and definitely great customer service!

These guys are phenomenal! Truck was broken down in a poor location but these guys had no problem jumping right to it. They drove over an hour just to get the job done. What a service these gentlemen performed when I was in a pinch. They changed out my batteries and alternator within an hour, AT NIGHT! Absolutely recommend, these guys had a hard time but were persistent enough to not give up despite the long hours, very friendly and I can swear they are affordable and fair. A lot of respect goes out to Dwayne and Walter.

We were referred to Cottles Enterprises by a large Portsmouth, VA marina to address alternator/charging issues that had been plaguing us for weeks on our boat and that two previous mechanical repair services on the ICW had failed to correct. Cottles arrived quickly, and after a thorough inspection, correctly diagnosed then corrected our problems! Very happy to have found such a competent repair service!
