I am a Fleet Manager for a transportation company here in Va. Beach and speak with a large majority of repair shops even though we have an in house repair facility of our own. Bill and his employees are the most customer orientated shop that we schedule our vehicle repairs with. They are extremely efficient and speedy with the repairs, Communication is always a pleasure and they are always honest and competitive with their diagnosis and repairs of our vehicles. I would recommend Canady and Branch to anyone looking for a shop they would like to depend on for fast, efficient and honest repairs of their vehicle. Thank you.

The customer service was awesome as usual. The requested work was performed with precision and care. The exceptional work that wasn t requested may very well have saved lives. The power steering pump was on its last leg and leaky badly. A weekend getaway could have turned into something much worse had the vehicle hit the highway and lost power steering. We love Canady and Branch. They are honest, compassionate, and they care about your life.I said all that to say; our two eldest children are taking a road trip, I night-dropped the vehicle for an oil change and let the Canady and Branch team know about the trip. They inspected the vehicle as if their loved ones were driving it this weekend and did what had to be done to ensure the vehicle was road trip safe!!!

Love this company! They are always honest and do a great job. I have had all of my cars and my family s cars services here for 16 years. I have never had to have repairs redone either because they get it right the first time. Best customer service and everyone there is super personable from the owners on down!

They do good work, and they're honest. That is, if you're lucky enough to catch them when they're not too busy. Unfortunately they'll tell you on the phone they can fit you in and then when you show up they turn you away saying they've got a week's backlog of work. But that seems to be a problem with literally every shop in Portsmouth and the Western Branch area, it always takes me several weeks to get anyone to work on my car whenever I have a problem with it or need it inspected.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

3/30/23Went to get my brakes, Power steering, and Abs sensor checked out! I accidentally ordered the wrong brake parts, but they gave me the model number to order it myself with very detailed notes about what exactly maybe wrong with my abs light/sensor I was so surprised. My power steering was leaking I originally took it to pep boys who said it leaking bad, but these guys said it was just loose and needed a retighten its completely fine now!!! I am so happy!! They were so kind, and honest with me. Highly recommend. Quick service, excellent communication, and nice price.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We have an older car. There were several items wrong that we initially brought it in for..the invoice was filled. When they followed up with us the same day and several times throughout the day and that week I was very impressed. They told us the problem, what needed to be done, what the cost will be, then ask us how would we like to proceed. Wow finally a shop who knows what they're talking about and not just parts changers. We decided to go ahead and let them work on the other items. And might I add the price was right. We did not feel like we were being taken advantage or place on the back burner. One problem the car had they told us they do not do at their shop and referred us to 2 other mechanics who may be able to assist. Was so pleased we picked up the car and dropped off the truck.

I'm definitely coming back here! They are very fair in their prices, were able to do the services I needed, and that was it. It's great being able to find a mechanic you trust, and I think I've found them.

I have been using Candy & Branch to repair my cars for 6 years. I recommend them to everyone who needs their vehicle serviced. This is the only place I trust to do a good honest job. They have proven their honesty and are truthful. They don't tell you that you need to repair something if you don't and they will let you know if the repair could wait awhile which is helpful when you live on limited funds. They treat you right and are friendly and polite.

Everyone was super friendly and Mr. Canady explained everything that made it super easy to understand! I love feeling like I m part of the process when it comes to my car even though I know next to nothing about it, and they exceeded that expectation! Was recommended by a friend at church. Found them to be reliable and fast. Not as pricey as some others will be returning for additional repairs. Price is always a factor. I'm retired and disabled. Many simple things now require a tech. Need someone you can trust.

The customer services was amazing but they are pretty expensive I brought all my own parts for the work that I needed done and they were about $300 more than the place I went to that told me what I needed to have done. And what shocked me even more is that they gave me a list of things that my car needed done that cam up to almost $1000 so I asked how much would it be just to get the things that I came for done and they said $700... So for another $300 I can get my car fix to perfection but the two things I came in for in the first place (replace control arm and alignment) that didn't sit right with me. But I know they come highly recommend so that's why I went I didn't have any work done so not really sure what that's like.

Our go to auto repair shopCanady and Branch are honest mechanics who can assess any issues and provide a thorough estimate of suggested repairs. We trust them with all of our family vehicles. Highly recommend.

I brought my 91 F-150 in because of a leaking rear fuel tank. I was quoted a price. When I brought the truck in, the shop they went to get the new fuel tank and pump no longer carried it but Bill was able to find a replacement for an additional $75. I was fine with that. When I was called 4 days later to pick it up the truck the final price was higher than the second quote. When I asked if there was gas in the rear tank the service kid said no. I asked how they checked out the fuel pump and did a leak check on the new tank. I was told to fill it myself and if it leaks bring it back. He said if I did not ask for them to leak check or op check the tank then they wouldn't have. He asked me if that made sense. I said no it didn't but okay and started to walk away when he called me an A$$hole. I said wow did you just call me that he said yes because I was acting like one. I asked for Bill, I explained what happened, he said the same thing as the kid but added that he guessed he could have put gas in it but never thought about doing that. He said he would handle the kid but not once did I get an apology. I guess business is so good there they can be nasty to their customers. Definitely not what I expected.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The best service I've ever received! Not only was my problem fixed, it was a lower price than expected and completed faster! You get what you pay for and believe me when I say it's worth it!

I would definitely recommend Canady and Branch for all your automobile service needs. I've used them several times; each time, the customer service was excellent, as well as the work done on my vehicle. The price on work done at each visit was very reasonable. Great service all the way around!

This was a business to business transaction and we got a good price as well as the technician letting us know of any existing problem before the needed alignment. By informing me of the problem they made the alignment a permanent repair. Thanks again Canady & Branch, from your friends at Mike Affordable Autos!

Outstanding service, communication during the process, follow-up and workmanship. I was extremely pleased with recent work on my Hyundai Azera. Their suggestions for service and work performed made the car handle like new.. The most important part of the experience was the trust I felt. They suggested options and I never felt pushed to make a decision that was not in my interest for the safety of the car - it was a partnership to do the right thing.

We've used Canaday & Branch since they first went into business. We wouldn't want to take our cars anywhere else! They are courteous, professional, HONEST, and do excellent work. Great place to take your car. They took the time to explain all of the needed repairs so there were no suprises when we picked up the car. It was fixed in a timely manner without any problems. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

These guys are great. Very trustworthy and knowledgeable. They came recommended by a friend. I will never take my car anywhere else. I don t do business with anyone that I have not read reviews. I can t say enough good things about Canady and Branch!

I had never dealt with a more professional car shop before, they went above and beyond my expectations and they did a Great job! They called and let me know what was going and if there were any changes time/date once my car being done. Very prompt and anamazing job! I definitely recommend Canady for all your car service needs! Yes it s in Portsmouth but it s worth your hard earned money their work is also guaranteed and warranted. I even got a how is your car doing text/email after I picked up my vehicle after it being serviced, I have never EVER gotten that from a commercial shop. I CHOOSE CANADY !#1 Thank you Matt Shelton and crew !!!!

My fianc� and myself recently brought in our vehicle we were immediately greeted with a warm friendly conversation and handshake. They pulled no punches looked over the Escape as requested found the issue and fixed the car immediately. After struggling with dealerships this was a wonderfully fresh feeling! Thanks again to Mr. Bill and the team at Canady and Branch. We will definitely continue our service in the future.

2nd time Ive had some work done here, and haven't been disappointed. Excellent rates and very experienced techs. Bill C. is an honest and fair guy who clearly states all the aspects of the work you mite need. They were very polite, extremely accommodating to my tight schedule, and the price was so affordable I was shocked. Thank you for the amazing experience. Will definitely come back for any other repairs I need in the future! :)
