Lennie is a very transparent honest person, who worked with me to get a car I bought from auction together. He let me know every step of the way what was going on and he was very affordable and conducted repairs exependintly. I am definitely recommending this shops service to anyone who needs it. Mr. Baucom and his associates are friendly. I ve been utilizing their shop for 3 years, and every time I m surprised with efficiency and reasonable prices. Great honest service. As a woman it is hard to find an honest auto repair service; They exceeded my expectations. Took care of an oil change, diagnostic, tire rotation, brake pad and rotor replacement, and bulb replacement in 3 hours. I don t even know where to start! They were so friendly and helpful. My car broke down last week and in the midst of getting it towed/figuring out what to do, they told me to bring it right over and they d see what they could do. Within a couple hours they called me with a full game plan and quote and fully got my car up and running in just a couple days. I was scared my jeep was done for but I drove it to work today and it feels great. I ll definitely be back for all my car s maintenance. If you re like me, a woman who doesn t know much about cars/gets nervous about being overcharged, this is the place to go. They are very honest and reasonable. I m so happy I found a place I can trust :) thank you guys so much!

Place is awesome. Honest work for fair prices. I called first thing in the morning to see if I could bring my truck in and eight hours later my truck is running clean with a new alternator. They do the work you ask to be done and don't try to dupe you into paying extra for work you don't need. Best place in Portsmouth to take your vehicle if you don't have disposable income.

By far the best auto shop in Hampton roads. I ve taken all my cars here and Lenny has always provided a clear understanding of what the issues are and how he wants to fix them. Constant communication and GREAT mechanic work. Fair, honest and reliable. It s hard to find nowadays but man am I happy I found Lenny at baucoms. Customer for life!!!

I don't review many places but I had to say something about this shop. I usually dread taking my car in to shops and brace myself to be told something is wrong with my car that isn't what I even brought it in for. This place was completely different. I was helped very quickly and received a call nearly within an hour about my vehicle issue. They made the repairs very quickly and charged me an EXTREMELY fair price for their services. I cannot recommend them enough. I will be bringing all my vehicles here from now on.

It's hard to find an honest mechanic but Lennie and his crew are truly a trustworthy. I've had brakes, ac, and general maintenance done by them and Lennie is always upfront and very fairly priced. It has taken me 19 years to find a great shop after my old mechanic retired and I highly recomend Baucom's.

Lenny is straightforward and honest about what your car does or doesn't need. He and his guys there keep you updated on the progress of repairs, and has made sure to get permission before doing any work. As long as we're in the Hampton Roads area, Baucoms is our mechanic.

This is an amazing place to go the owner is a no-nonsense and does not take advantage of people that do not understand cars. He's very straightforward and willing to work with people. Went here to get my starter changed out. The mechanic who spoke to me was friendly, straightforward and gave me a fair price. It can be hard to find good work, but this place does it.

I ve had to go here twice for emergency repairs and both times I was extremely pleased with the service as he got me in and out quickly so I can keep the truck on the road making money. No pressure service that doesn t try to nickel and dime you to death. Need help??? Check them out.

Check my wife's vehicle in to be repaired because of a brake issue. Two months ago Lenny fixed it and then I brought it back for the same reason. He looked at it, made the repairs and did not charge me. You want an honest auto mechanic to take your vehicle to? Look no further than Baucom Auto.

They worked on my F 150 4x4 got my distributor right it was three teeth off got it running then drove it in and put a timing light on it and got it straight and charged me ea good price even give me a discount for paying cash
