American Truck & Trailer Repair is a lifesaver! I have 6 trailer bodies that are decorated as parade floats, and this is the only company that will come to me and make sure the 30-50 year old trailers and good to roll. Mr. Jackson, the owner, keeps a busy schedule rolling, and his son who has come out to my warehouse to do repairs for 2 years now is awesome! Ms. Debbie in dispatch is always wonderful to chat with, and this year Vanessa was a complete LIFESAVER in helping me get on the schedule quickly and keeping me up to date on when the techs would arrive so I could meet them. Highly recommend this company for the excellent work, and the way that all the members of their team work together!Service: Tires

Had a repair on a cross member on my 5x10 utility trailer. I love the repair. The people there were honest, informative and accommodating. The price for the repair was reasonable. I would recommend them.

I work for a trucking company and have used this company multiple times recently. They have been very quick and easy to work with. From my view their work is excellent and the terminal manager has sent no complaints about the work performed. For the life of me I can't remember the operators name but she has always been very polite and helpful. I plan to keep using American Truck and Trailer for my emergency needs for the foreseeable future.Services: Tires, Brakes

Needed a tire change on my MCI 4500 bus, they said yes we can do that for about $75. I asked how much for a mobile call instead of me driving to them, he said it's a $400 service call. They were 35 miles from me. I said I'll drive to you.He only charged me $52 . Definitely worth the drive.Thank you guys.Had me in and out in 20 min.Definitely recommend their service

Came here for an oil change, A/C fixed, and cruise control fixed I talked to the guy Saturday morning and he told me that he could get my truck done on Tuesday and it would be finished that evening so I Brought my truck here early Tuesday morning, I call later on in the day and they say they would not start on it until Wednesday morning. Okay cool, Wednesday afternoon comes and I call and ask if they re working on my truck. They stated they re working on it.. ok great. I receive no call that evening so Thursday morning comes and I call and they said my truck will be finished at 430pm with everything done. 4:30pm comes , I come to the shop and the ONLY thing they ve done to my truck was the oil change which they had done on Wednesday. So all of Thursday my truck was just been sitting there. I ve missed 3 days of work for just an oil change..and on top of that when I got to my truck to leave, the truck was dead. If I could leave zero stars I would I called scheduled to replace a drive tire on tractor they had me waiting 4hrs and no one came to the shop!!! No call no show on a customer!!! Made me Late for my deliveries

Sent out what I consider an inexperienced and unprepared technician to change one blown out steer tire .Took him two hours.For this they. Harness me $820 .Not 2 hours to get to me...but 2 hours to change the tire once he arrivedI would not recommend thiese guys to anyone EVER.Service: TiresService: Tires

Had very minor repair on trailer floorboard. Cut out old, rotten piece and put in a new piece. Work done was okay but the guy doing the work took an excessive amount of time getting tools, wandering around, spotting other workers as they drive another truck on the property, etc. He also took an hour and a half or longer just to arrive on site after being told at the start he would only take 10-15 minutes, which was repeated every time I asked if he was on site or not. I even called ahead and told them the exact issue I needed fixed. Missed my load for that day and since it went to Ohio and it's a holiday weekend, I lost out on my next load too because no other shippers are going to be open or the receivers in Ohio will be closed on the holiday. Repairs took 2.5 hours but like I mentioned, there was a lot of wandering around. New wood looks decent. $1850 and $2600 loads gone to never return.

Went in to replace 4 hinges on the trailer door.Business tried to extort $1100 for changing 4 hinges where normally this costs about $300 to do it. Then threaten to lock up trailer when we told them we not paying $1100 for what normally costs $300. Business still end up extorting from us $200 to remove installed hinges. This is very unethical business ran by colored minorities. Stay away if you do not want to be ripped off or hostages situation

Went there for simple air brake valve replacement. Agreed to pay minimum road service call ($250) because it was after hours even though I went to the shop. Took them over 4 hours and once completed the valve still leaked. The mechanic spent most of his time wondering around the shop looking for tools. They still charged me full road service rates and decided they couldn t figure out why the new valve was leaking. I got home, and went to remove the valve and found a coarse thread bolt stuffed into the pipe thread fitting rather than a plug in the bottom of the valve!! Tried to call Issac (owner / manager) he won t take my calls and now chucks me right to voicemail. Mickey Mouse operation at best, be careful!!

I ran over something in the road and blew out a drive tire. I called this place. American truck and trailer and spoke to the owner I m guessing. I told him I DID NOT want a RECAP tire! And I wanted either a used 24.5lp or 4 new Kelly s. Depending on price and availability. No problem, I ll have one out in a hour. It was dark by then and truck arrived. I asked mechanic, it s not a cap is it? It s what ever he put in the truck. It looked like a brand new Goodyear and didn t look like a cap. This was Friday and come Monday morning loading it looked low and had 20lbs in it. I went to a tire shop and thinking it was the valve stem. Turns out it s a RECAP and had a tiny nail in it. This overpriced $475 now cost $550 after tire being repaired. I called Monday morning and expressed that I m very unhappy and he offered to make it up to me before I read bandag all over it. He tells me he had 4 new matching Kelly s. Now I m right back where I started looking for 4 new tires and junk pile to throw the recap on. Until this place learns to either pay attention to their customers wishes or run a legit business, stay away!!! There s nothing I despise more than having something fixed over and over and not done right the first time.

We were in desperate need of a side mirror on the truck and these guys saved the day!!! Tim the mechanic came to the rescue and hooked us right up. I appreciate everyone in that shop and we thank you so much. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I recommend this place highly to anyone who needs work done they are THE BEST!!

I went there yesterday to get a tire when I got there I got two used tires. When I got to the customer to get loaded I noticed one had a hole on the side walls. When I call them they told me to come back. They gave me another tire no question asked. The tires I got was 50% rubber. If I would have went to TA I would have paid double. Thanks JACKSON for helping me in a time of need

As a stuff was drunk, he can't fix the issues. I was spending about 2 hours to fixing only some fuses to turn my marker lights on, so than came another guy and he fixed, but that was ridiculous only for one fuse they charged me about $85. Place and workers non welcome visitors.

Owner was very helpful and understanding. Gave me the best deal on a set of 4 great used tires that I couldn t get any where else. I would recommend this establishment over any other one in the 757. Will be back!

This place is more for 18 wheeler repair with the look of a salvage yard and camper trailers used as office space. I brought my small utility trailer for wiring. The job got done ultimately but a lot of time wasted looking for tools or waiting on parts. 75 dollars an hour. In hindsight I would have gone somewhere else but I got my trailer lights working again and I'm on the road.

If the possibility of 0 stars was an option, that would be accurate. Not being facetious. The experience and experience of the junkyard is mediocre.

It is a repair shop but there property is a mess. Stray dogs and people popping up everywhere. No bathrooms available. The mechanics are covered in grease. I wish they would take pride in there appearance. My truck was fixed but I did have to keep close taps on it. They are unorganized but the work is decent

BE AWARE. They kept my truck for three days when it should have only been a few hours they charged me 12 hours labor to do a water pump. Im a women I would never use them again I know they ripped me off.

Be very careful with this company, look to call the owner, the representative ok to change 7 nut of a shaft ok he went and bought them, but they sent me a road service with two apparently quiet gentlemen but when they weighed my work I noticed that They were drunk, they could not with the air pistol, they could not with the mandarin, so I had to take out the nuts, put my knowledge and my tools to be able to solve the break if not even in 24 hours I left the place, and on top of it I They charge 900 dollars gentlemen, respect the dollar, very careful truckers ...I donde recommend this worhshop do not fall into the hands of these people think to siendo your money .....

The technician who came and repaired my trailer Isaac Jackson was very professional came and repaired my trailer in a timely fashion. I definitely would recommend them for future business.

Place was awesome . Looks like a dirt lot and not much but don't let the lack of a dealership sign or large building fool you. I went in there knowing it all and they did excactly what I asked and when it didn't solve the problem Justin their mechanic went above and beyond and figured it out. THEY DROPPED ME OFF AND PICKED ME UP FROM MY HOTEL !!!!!!

During on road tire replacement, took over an hour to get bill. Truck drivers don t make money sitting around. Will not use service again. Then no bill, mechanic gave thumbs up and drove away.
