I Called mores to have some body work done on my vette. They quoted me $1200 and said it would take 4 days to have it done but they needed to schedule me in about 3 weeks out. 3 weeks later I drop my car off and lonnnngggg story short it took them over 10 weeks and jumped my $1200 ticked to $1800. after repeatedly telling me the car would be done in a couple days only when I called them or stopped in to check on the status . I love to support local businesses and I don t mind paying. I also even understand the price going up..that s why it s called an estimate. I just do not like being lied to and put on the back burner. I picked my car up today and my floor board in the driver side is soaking wet, a reflecter on the inside of my driver side door is cracked and I m missing the volume knob on my radio! Terrible business! Also the window has grease all over it what the heck?

My boyfriend s truck sat in this shop for almost a year and still had to be TOWED out of the lot because they were unable to find the TIME to fix it. Even after he paid $2,600 (mostly in cash to avoid the owner s wife finding out?). PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! Especially if you have a valuable antique vehicle!

I got new tires installed to include balancing. I purchased the tires from another place. I happened upon this business due to my impatience of not wanting to wait in line in other area shops. The entire staff was welcoming and professional. In conversation, I understood why they went into business. There is a passion for cars. My service was swift. Please do not fall victim to the unprofessionalism of this local business. My dad went to Moores to have a front end aligment done on his work van. The lady in the front office charged him twice for the part, so he had to get that straight. The front end was not aligned properly so he ended up having to take it back 5 TIMES and its still not aligned properly! His tire is folded inward and is very unsafe to drive. At this point we have asked for a full refund, however they only refunded the money for the part and nothing for the labor that They COULD NOT GET RIGHT out of all 5 times that it went into their shop. Everytime we call down there we get the run around and are lied too. Their only explaination is that they feel my dad has the van overloaded. This is an old comcast van that had hundreds of pounds more in the load than my dad has and there HAS NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE UNTIL MOORES WORKED ON IT. Now instead of morally doing the right thing to refund my dad the 300 dollars he spent , Moores could end up paying all the attorney fees and the expert witness that has weighed the van that my dad has loaded compared to the weight that comcast used, when all they had to do was the right thing and refund his money so he could take the van and have it fixed elsewhere. To the nasty lady in the office, nothing good comes to crooks and liars like you. Its a shame that your husbands business reputation has to be put on the line because of how nasty you are to people. Y'all may be used to mistreating your customers, but my dad is one that you will not get away with doing dirty! Signed a very angry daughter!

What's not to love! Friendly, fast no hassle service. Fair prices. The only draw back from me is a 3% charge for using your credit card. Certainly doesn't take away from the 5 star service, cause they are fantastic, just sucks to add on a few more dollars to a bill for using a convenient way to pay.

As we were driving south on vacation my husband realized that my VA state inspection had expired the previous month, oops! I quickly searched Google. We called and drove to several different shops but could not get anyone to help us. That was until I called Moore's Auto and Tow. Ashley was wonderful!!! She was able to squeeze us in. She had us back on the road very quickly.In talking with her we figured out that she/they are good at finding hard to find parts for classic cars. We will be calling them whenever we need parts for our classic truck. Even though we live on the opposite side of Virginia from them. I highly recommend Moore's Auto and Tow!

I took my vehicle in for an AC check and found out the the entire system was bad. I knew the total amount that it would cost(labor and parts). I was informed that my vehicle would possibly take all day before I approved the work. I had my vehicle back in the time I was told and am very pleased. I highly recommend Moore's Auto and Towing. You feel like family.

Very unprofessional and had my car for over two months. And kept coming back with thing after thing wrong and told me to buy parts fromChevrolet so I did and then they plugged them in so I couldn t return them and then ended up not using the parts. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Also they own a towing company and they couldn t fix a part so with out my knowledge towed it to a specialist and charged for the tow.

If you have a car and the radio need replacing please don t come here !!!! Even tho it s been awhile my radio still is messed up. My buttons to my ac in my car is stucked from them installing ts wrong!! I have to get a whole new dash kit because they broke it !! never again

Great customer service as well as fast repairs.. very patient staff. They dealt with me and my mis haps.. lol.. and stayed professional the entire time.. Eddie is my guy got me back and running quickly and like that I m back in the woods and I don t think he broke a sweat.. thanks a lot moores.. After several amazing experiences with Eddie and his crew, which are amazing From the front counter to the techs. Had to leave review they are Extremely knowledgeable,polite and genuinely care about their customers cars. Highly recommended this shop to anyone in need of repairs. They do custom work as well. From rebuilding your engine to lowering your ride or lifting it up. There is alot of knowledge in this shop and they take alot of pride in their work, you can trust your vehicle won't be short changed when in their hands. Hard to find shops these days knowing it will come out in better condition then it went in with moores auto you know your in good hands

Fantastic staff to include front office, manager and technicians. Had a breakdown about 30 miles south of the shop. Called Moore's for an estimate on repairs. Prices were fair and they said they would keep someone there late that afternoon to get me back on the road same day if need be. Over the top commitment to customers.When the tow service failed to show up, called the shop and the front office said they are partnered with a towing company that could be there in 20 minutes. Problem solved.When the tow got my truck there, the manager showed me around the shop and got me in immediately. Repairs were complete in 45 minutes and I was on my merry way with a fair bill - to include parts and towing.Strongly recommend those local to Richmond check out Moore's. Good to see shops like this continue to be successful.

Been doing business off & on with Eddie since he was doing his business out of his house. He's always honest and tells you the safety reasons for getting something done and also if it's safe to wait to fix. His pricing for repairing the steering rack on my girlfriend's 94 Ford Taurus is among the lowest in the area while maintaining his quality work. I highly recommend his shop and consider him a friend.

I would advise you, if you have a year to wait on painting your vehicle, do not to take it there, they are backed up. And if you have money to spend, they quoted me 30k for a paint job, my vehicle is worth 25k as is. I'll let yall figure that out.

I took my car to this shop On March 17th 2021 to get the ABS fixed And was told it would take 4-5 days for the part to arrive i called Again yesterday March 29th and was told that something happened at the dealership and that my part would be here in another 4-5 days Well i arrived to the dealership today and was told by another person that the part was indeed never ordered but they would be ordering it today. The unprofessionalism that this establishment embodies is pure comedy. The people who answer the phone never seem to communicate any information to one another and cannot remember information they give to the customers. I wouldnt Spend my money here if you need your car soon.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Called on a Tuesday and asked if they could check my car for the source of an oil leak. They said drop it off in the morning so they could get it in line to get in the shop.I dropped it off and filled the key card out Tuesday night.Didn't hear from them WednesdayCalled before closing Thursday, they say it's next to come in the shop.Called Friday morning they say they're bringing it in now. Called Friday right before closing and they say "yeah we haven't had a chance to look at it" JUST SAY THAT THEN. Don't lie for 3 days.

Had my car towed there because it wouldn't start and after a jump the check engine came on. I get a call the next day around 10:30am "I CAN'T diagnose the problem until I change the battery" I give them the Ok to change the battery. I called them back the next asking what the issue was they tell me it was the battery it fixed all the issue.( If the battery fix the issue what's there to diagnose?) I'm expecting a bill for 200 something dollars for the battery and installation of the battery the bill has ballooned to almost $400 for a diagnostic fee, why? There was nothing to diagnose the so if if wasn't for the nice lady at the front mentioning military discount(former Navy) I would have paid $400 for swapping a battery instead I paid 375 for swapping a battery which is still a little crazy. But I will not never take my car there again. The 1 star is for the lady at the front desk.Service: Battery

Moore's Auto and Towing will always have my business. I know I call Eddie or Ashley at anytime day or night. If I need a tow I know that they will be there. I can not count how many times I have needed a part put on my vehicle and I have called and they have been able to do it without having to wait days. This is one shop that definitely goes ABOVE and BEYOND!!
