This place absolutely slaps. We stopped here after camping w some friends and it will forever be a landmark stop for us on all future trips. The food is amazing, the item selection is so unique and interesting, and the staff are an absolute delight. Do yourself a favor and stop here

I love this place. I can't count how many times I've stopped here, even if it was just to pee.1. I love the fudge. My brother did too and him ordering some is one of my last memories of him.2. I love the food counter with it's fried chicken and Southern sides and especially, especially, especially, the desserts: cannoli and cheesecake, carrot cake and something called unicorn cake. It's always fun and so hard to choose.3. I love the local wine and beer selection.4. I love the dry little grocery area with the quirky dry goods.5. I love that it's a cozy place to stop to eat and rest on your travels along 29.6. I love the cute hats and other gifts and the random antiques that adorn the store.7. I love the boot scrape outside.8. I love that it feels like it's been there forever and it always will be.9. I love always wondering what's upstairs.10. I love that it's right next door to Dr. Ho's.

I cannot say enough good about the inside of the store. They have local vendors items and the best baked goods! It s a great place to stop for a quick bite! The people are super friendly

We got two pieces of cake which looked good. But taste was awful. We each took one bite and they went in the trash. Taste like they had been frozen.

THE BEST OF EVERYTHING! Made to order food breakfast sandwiches off the hook and the sauces, salsas, dressings and more, you want all of them to go! The friendly faces, kind and genuine service is still alive in a world where those are hard to find. Online shopping with delivery??? Until then, it is a road trip for the goods.

I blew a coolant hose and had to pull into their lot. The guy personally took my jugs and filled them up so I could get down the road. I appreciate this so much. I grabbed some of there breakfast biscuits and their killer. Highly recommended!

Came here minutes before they closed the kitchen, not knowing that they were closing soon! The sweet lady taking our order didn't say one word about how we were so close to closing time. She took our order and promptly let us know that the roast beef was frozen (totally understandable since we were there right at closing!), and was also very patient when I took some time to choose something different. Our kids loved the fresh chicken tenders! They were also super understanding when one of our kids had a spill. There were all kinds of little gifts, purses, sweet treats, fudge... it's a great little shop! We got a slice of colossal cheesecake and a whoopie pie to-go. They were SO good! The cheesecake was not overly sweet. Just perfect. Super sweet people working here. We will definitely make another stop when we're in the area!

A great place to stop at to grab hot food, subs, sweets, homemade baked goods, and souvenirs. Got some friend chicken to go for camping and few desserts.

I just tried the Pippin sub. Excellent! I highly recommend it. Great meat and bread. You get your money's worth. Tender meat.

Only store I know with eccentric and unique to exquisite also things for everyone. Along with normal fare and gas station desirables.

This review is for what I ll affectionately refer to as the crossroads shopping plaza.It s a large complex with ample space for rent in the event that you should need to start an office space, but if the prices of those rentals are any reflection of the price of products in the plaza, it might not be a good venture.There is a bank. It s outdoor atm has never worked. The only working atm is located in the gas station store itself.The store has a number of very honest reviews on this page which I mostly agree with except for the deli/dessert area. I ve watched employees behind the counter, I appreciate their hygiene, and I m very impressed with the quality of food. The selection there is somewhat inconsistent though. If you find out they have the carnival cake when you stop in, you re in luck.Dr Ho s Pizza is the other anchor store and a tremendous draw for the plaza. I ll write about them in a separate entry.Beautifully decorated in winter, and the gas pumps, while on the expensive side, are always accessible despite the snow.

Besides the little "Trump" knick knacks at the register, and there only being one bathroom, everything else was good. The chicken was great, I tried some pastries, I will try the pies next trip!

Pull up to the front for gas. Nice looking and fully stocked convenience store. Lots of parking for RVs. Somewhat handicap friendly.

Rating this place three stars because I absolutely love the eclairs here and always stop on my way to/from college. However, this time I stopped to grab one and absolutely none of the workers (cooking or at the register) were wearing masks when it s required all Virginians do so. I understand some people have medical conditions, but if so, they should be at home and not cooking food! Social distancing was not being put in place! I left right after using the restroom, definitely not wanting to purchase anything after what I saw.

Stop here when traveling and the place is great to get out and stretch, grab a bite to eat, and get some souvenirs! Everybody is always friendly and they have some of the best chicken and fudge around!

This store does have a great selection of things to choose from. But the deli/grill area is where my low rating comes in, none of the employees wore mask while cooking. They had them around their necks, but chose not to wear them. Laughing and talking with no mask over the grill and sandwich area preparing food.

I absolutely love everything about this store! The 1 eyed burger, fried chicken and mac and cheese is delicious! The desserts are phenomenal !! Everyone is always kind, patient and helpful . Thank you everyone keep up the good work

Had to stop for gas today, I was empty and I was yelled at in disrespect for trying to get gas by an associate.And of all days to be on empty..Apparently it wasn't the right kind and I needed to be yelled at.I too had a hard day, would have been nice for a decent experience just to be nice. I swear I was only just trying to get home.Will NEVER stop again.

Clean restrooms, friendly service, and the BEST fried chicken that I have found in the Charlottesville area!!!! Their mashed potatoes and gravy are absolutely amazing as well. I will definitely be back!!!

Stopped here for a sandwich and this place did not disappoint. Staff friendly and food was delicious. This little store has anything you need.

I walked past the owner looking for something and I was totally IGNORED! He didn'task me "Do you need help finding something?"I work in retail and I know good customer service. I walked past the fresh food section. Noone was being help. Yet, i was ignored once again! I've been stopping her for years on my way to Charlottesville VA, Richmond VA, etc... NEVER AGAIN! Heartless!However, the cashier was kind and sweet. Poor thing for having to work in this environment.

I love this store! Stop here everytime we go to Charlottesville. Good food, friendly service, clean bathrooms and an assortment of cool items such as blankets, handbags, hats... To many to list!

Go here if you want to experience "price galging" at its finest, on any and everything you buy! You're not getting any deals here whatsoever! Rather ridiculous actually!I'll give them a "ZERO STAR"!

I've always enjoyed the convenience of this convenience store. There are multiple businesses and restaurants on premises, one of which is located conveniently inside Crossroads Store.No cutting back on spending to sacrifice quality. No sir, but here.A1 establishment, I'm this local guide's opinion.

On our way to UVA for a procedure, we stopped for lunch. All the guest were properly distancing, and wearing masks. Then I looked at the kitchen..not one of the 4 people in the kitchen had on a mask. NOT ONE. chatting it up, breathing all over our food..I would give 0 start if I could.
