This is the third time that I have taking Ram Promaster for oil change, state inspection and a AC Compressor replacement (warranty) they have done a great job, the vehicle is kept clean. They work so well that make other dealers look good, because I got taking by RK Chevy years back and I had lost my trust in dealer ships but Dodge Ram in Chesapeake made me trust them thank you so much, keep on your trusting great work

I purchased a 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia from Southern earlier this year and found the experience to be very professional, and low stress. I traded in a 2016 Honda Pilot and got a great value for the trade-in. The salesmen I worked with spent considerable time making sure I qualified for and received several Alfa Romeo incentives. Although I hope to not need another vehicle anytime soon, I would definitely consider buying another car from Southern.

I always receive courteous service. Tina greeted me immediately and assigned my 2500 RAM to a tech for service. Addressed outstanding recalls, state inspection as well as upcoming fuel filter replacement. Tina made contact to ensure the work and any cost was approved by me before proceeding. Worst Jeep buying experience ever. We purchased a Jeep in December 2023. We had to visit the dealership on 5 separate occasions just to get the second key to a new vehicle. Now over 30 days later, we are waiting for our vehicle registration and title. The business manager handed us a title and transferred our tags only for me to find out more than 30 days later that the vehicle is not in DMV s database. Someone from Southern assured me that they would pay for my towing and ticket if I was stopped, but who wants that stress.I am so disappointed because I ve purchased many vehicles from the southern in greenbrier and I never had serious issues like this.If you want professional, reliable service or sales experience stay away. There is no since or urgency or priority to make things right. Since we have purchased the vehicle on the 29th of December, we ve returned to the dealership about 8 times trying to fix there mistakes.I would like for someone from that dealership to bring me a correct registration and title for my vehicle.

Definitely great service. Only thing is that my vehicle wasn't seen for 2 hours after my appointment,and I was there 15 minutes earlier. I was told by the service rep that those are not appointments, but check in times. I was not aware of that. Specially if the website allows you to pick an "appointment time". I understand that some vehicles might take more time that others, but appointments should always be honored. With all that waiting time it would've been more convenient to go just about anywhere else in Hampton roads.

Last 3 visits have been less than stellar. My wife's town and country had a oil leak that she took it in for to service while I was on deployment. They claimed they fixed it and charged her 1200.00. She came home and the vehicle was leaking again. They then stated it was another issue and charged her an additional 1700.00 for a oil cooler on the 3.6l pentastar. 2900.00 for a van oil leak and no discount on the first work for poor diagnosis or work that did not need to be performed. Recently I took a different van in with an issue with climate control. The vehicle had had a left blend door changed prior. The dealership called and said the left blend door was bad. I was taken back by this but authorized the repair. They called 3 days later and reported the box was cracked and that it will be and additional 1700.00. Well, if you diagnosed it wrong did you put the other blend door in I asked. No we are not allowed to do that we plugged the electrical component in so you must pay it's not refundable. So in the end 600.00 later all I know is they say I need a 1700.00 repair. Blend doors are 45.00 at a parts store so they have a 3x markup on this alone. They can be quite rude to customers which i have experienced several times over the last 10 years. I purchased my van there and used them for some time but I would recommend steering clear. They will take your money and lots of it for problems secondary shops can quite likely solve much cheaper with a smile. Maybe they just get so much business repeat customers don't matter. Go next door to priority!

JoJo was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in navigating the purchase and trade-in of my Chevrolet Blazer. Once all of the sales portion was complete, I met Julie Nichols the financial guru and she was really great. Thoroughly explained my options and was able to assist in purchasing an extended warranty and a maintenance plan to keep me worry free for 5 years. Southern Auto in Norfolk are great people and I will definitely do business with them in the future.

Never coming back here again. Brought my car in to get inspected. Was first in line and needed wiper blades and two tires. After 6 hours they said can t get the tires today AT THE DEALERSHIP I bought the car from. Normal tires. So now I m rearranging my whole week and I ll have to drive on a rejection sticker until they can put a new tire on. I will never come back here again for anything. Don t come here for anything.

I purchased a brand new Gladiator and it has been back for service multiple times over several months with no solution or even diagnosis. The service advisor, Tina, has been very helpful and does her best to keep me informed. The service manager, I believe his name is John, began yelling at Tina on 4/1/24 when she was explaining the latest round of diagnosis attempts to me. Service manager also refused to provide a loaner vehicle despite Jeep Cares agreeing to cover loaner costs. When I asked for my vehicle back, Tina began explaining the diagnosis process and John began yelling from his office "Don't tell him that, he doesn't need to know anything. Just get him out." Sales staff was helpful and friendly during the purchase, service staff with the exception of Tina has left much to be desired.

Highly recommended!!! The whole team was awesome. Justin was a very patient salesman and listened to what I was asking for. He assured me we would find what I wanted within my budget. Dropped my truck off the night before and they had an area to actually write on and there was a pen! drop box was easy. Truck was done in no time the next day. Sam Vanderslice is awesome to work with.Everything I asked for was done. I always request him when I come and will continue to do so in the future! Thanks for a job well done!

This company had me sit at the office from 9:50am - 6:30pm just to find out they sold the car to another customer. Worst experience I ve ever encountered. Especially with it being my first time buying a car at a dealership ship. I will have my attorneys involved cause yall played with me and my time. They service who they want to service. I d understand is I had nothing to offer but I m coming with a Dwn payment and interested in biweekly payments

The service writer is absolutely the best I have ever had in my life. The problem is the QA of the work done by the mechanics. Had a thermostat replace and antifreeze flushed and changed upon arriving home I opened the hood the radiator cap was not installed correctly and the coolant reservoir cap had not been replaced. They really need to work on the quality assurance of the work.

This was a fantastic buying experience! Bought my 2023 Ram and got a fantastic deal! The salesman Lowen answered ever question I had and worked with me every step of the way. I will recommend him to all of my friends! Julie in finance got me through all the paperwork and everything went smooth! I took my company vehicle in for a recall after making an appointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was waiting for the vehicle and thought I'd be there for hours and hours. They took care of the recall and had me out of there inside of 2 hours.They have a shuttle service that they offer in case you can't wait.Very clean, neat, helpful, friendly.I will be taking my personal vehicle there!

Every time I come to this location I have an issue. This most recent visit I made an appointment to have a vehicle inspection completed. Appointment was at 9. The gentleman at the front desk stated it should take an hour to an hour and change. Wasn t completed until 12. The service shop was not very busy this day either. When I went to check on the remaining time, around 1130, I was told its first come first serve for inspections but they say to make an appointment. It s like she didn t know their own rules.The previous visit they tried to charge me almost 600 FOR A BATTERY REPLACEMENT! I told them not to do it and just complete the oil change. Then tried to charge me almost 100 for labor because he was about to do it . I declined a diagnostic test when I first got there because it was a follow up visit. At my previous service appointment they replaced my auxiliary battery under warranty because the start stop function in my jeep wasn t working. After a few weeks it again wasn t working. I went back toHave the battery replaced and was expecting to have to pay out of pocket because I waited a while to come back. The main battery was the actual problem and should have been replaced with the auxiliary they should have know to replace both and not just one. It s like they knew I d have to come back so they did it the short way. The manager woman in service is often rude and condescending as well. Talked to me like I was an idiot when I first brought my car in for the start stop problem. Said thing like it s not working because it says you have to have your seatbelt on (the dashboard message). Among other things.The shuttle service is convenient but that s literally it. They re more focused on updating the bathroom than improving the service provided. Please my advice and go somewhere else. Do your research and compare prices. Despite the bad reviews I tried to come anyway. Don t make my same mistake. I only come for the services included in my contract at this point.

Had my car in for an inspection and oil change told car was ready and noticed last year s sticker not replaced. When queried, very nice service rep checked and determined service was not even performed. This visit was indicative of years of lack of attention to detail by the service department. FYI purchased vehicle at Southern and all service performed there for 9 years. Purchased 2nd vehicle, $70k Ram truck, last year. Hoping for improvement for both vehicles going forward!

I've bought a few vehicles from Southern dodge in Norfolk. Everyone there is very professional and nice to work with. We just bought a new 2500 dodge ram diesel today, I worked with Julie in finance. She was very knowledgeable and sweet. Dj is the salesperson we worked with and I highly recommend him. He went out of his way a few times to help us get the right truck that we were wanting. I'll keep buying my vehicles from Southern dodge.

I went in and got my oil changed. the wait was very long but also not super stressed about having to wait a few hours I know it gets busy working in a shop, as well as the price on the website did not reflect what I was going to pay in person but not a super big deal since I had one of their coupons. The reason for a 1 star review is that I decided to change my own oil this past weekend. upon trying to take the drain plug out it was impossible to break free, whoever at the dealership used an impact and sized the bolt so I had to go out and purchase an extractor kit to get the bolt off. this is absolutely ridiculous, I have pictures of the O-ring being compressed to where it is now smaller than the lip around the bolt due to how tight the bolt was put on. All of this resulted in having to go out and purchase a new plug and an extractor kit.

I got there at 7:15 AM on a Friday for a state inspection and oil change. I waited patiently for 5 hours for my vehicle to be returned to me. People were coming after me and leaving before me. The young lady, I think her name was Tiana, who assisted me was so kind and did her best to move the process along.
