Awesome customer service. They did a amazing job replacing my alternator my car work so much better and the price was affordable to. I'm definitely coming back here.

Bobby was very nice, helped me get the services I asked for at a respectable price and was not pushy about things that could be done now or wait for the next maintenance interval. Price came in a little under quoted for cvt transmission service and 2 differentials for awd car. He even gave a 10% mil discount. I dropped the car off at 11am and it was done by 3pm. I would definitely use them again.

I went there to take my car in to get a steering rack and steering gear put in. They told me they would take my part that I got from the salvage yard and put it in. I then got the car back after they repaired it and it had all kind of warning and collision signals that came up on the car. They did not know to reprogram the steering gear and let me leave off in a dangerous situation with the car. I bought the car back they took no responsibility for anything they had done in reference to messing the car up and charged me a extra hundred and some dollars for programming the car and when I left out of the parking lot the car messed up immediately again. I would not suggest that anyone go to this car auto repair shop at all! I called back and told them that the car was messing up as I pulled off and the owner yelled at me and said that I was disrespectful to everybody and that I wanted to leave with the car that way which was not true. They completely change the story around and made it out as if I was the problem in that I did not listen to them in reference to getting a new steering gear but they told me they would put in the one I had even if it wasn't new. They acted as if they did not want to stand behind their labor or their warranty and I would not suggest anybody go there if they were in there right mind. They should have just said they would not take anything but new parts but evidently that was hard for them to convey.Aweeeeful service. Be warned!!!

I m owner of 2017 Mercedes S550 4matic. I had multiple codes pop up and was weary of taking it to private own business. I usually go to Mercedes Benz of Virginia Beach to get charged lots of money. I saved a bundle going here with a simple fused that got fixed. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. I m thankful that Nice guy auto are trust worthy and really do help people. If you have a foreign car this is the place to go and save tons of money. I highly recommend this place. Thanks James that works the front desk and the techs there. I went here and got me an oil change but Later On I found out that my oil wasn t even changed . Just the filter I respectfully don t trust this shop anymore. Hope they do better on other cars

I recently took my car in for an inspection and some minor fixes. The guys were great and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to James, Ricky and Jason for a job well done. They had me back on the road in the same day , so I will be a customer for life.

Can t say enough great things about this establishment. Both the Little Creek and Chelsea locations have taken great care of both my personal vehicles and business vehicles. Nice Guys already came highly recommend, so I went to check them out. I needed an inspection and an oil change when I went in yesterday and they were able to fit me in right away. I had to get a few things fixed to pass inspection and they made the calls to get the parts I needed at a vey reasonable price. I had to go back because one of the parts took a little extra time, but they had me in and out on both trips and the service was just what I needed. I'll be back because this is what car maintenance should be.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Hello everyone if you re looking for a place to fix your vehicle this place is the right place they greet you as soon as you walk in the door Nice Clean Pl., Jason the owner and the gentleman in the front this place is like you re in family and in good hands they are very honest and explain to you everything step-by-step give you an option if you want to go ahead and do it they don t pressure you I would highly recommend this place to everyone everyone is nice and friendly and respectful I would give them 10 stars if I could they did a great job with my vehicle this is a place that I will be going to from now on THANK YOU GUYS

I LOVE the Nice Guys & Gals!Seriously, I ve had some pretty serious repairs quoted and they have ALWAYS been the most reasonable for what I ve needed.In addition, I TRULY appreciate their communication. They will call and check in on your repairs progress, give you an ETA for part ordering, completion, etc.I couldn t ask for better customer service. Courtney, James, and of course Jason, the illustrious leader :), have always been so awesome.Finally, their work speaks for itself.Effective troubleshooting, diagnostic work and knowledgeable people will keep any vehicle and it s owner satisfied!Call them and see for yourself!

UPDATE why would I even consider using your shop after my business was turned down I was hung up on and all you can say is the call was mishandled. What a great owner great way to resolve the issue you definitely lost a first time customer!! And I will go to corporate and the BBB if need be!

This guy is 100 percent honest. He will fix your car at a fair rate and not screw you over.He's done my dad right, multiple times... he's done me right a few times too, Jason operates a tight ship, and gives you a very good price on what you actually need, not what he's trying to sell.I completely trust this mechanic, bring your car here, Jason is legit.

Jason and his staff are great! They are all helpful. Great work with reasonable prices! Very flexible with getting work done and worked with me to use my own parts. Keeping a 28 year old car running when parts are hard to find make a shop like this a great find. The work I have had done ranged from timing belt with a water pump to basic oil change. Unfortunately I upgraded one of my vehicles to a 2500 and they cannot work on it....yet. Hopefully they can in the near future.

What can I say that hasn t already been said? They are an awesome auto shop! When I moved I was worried about finding a new auto shop since some other shops have been known to not be *as nice*. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Nice Guy! The mechanics and front desk staff are so nice. They explain things and I have never felt like they are trying to rip us off. The prices are fair for the work/cost of parts. I would totally recommend giving them a try next time you are in need of some work on your car!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This company is awesome! I went in on a Tuesday and asked if they could replace my brake pads, rotors, and replace the passenger side mirror. (I already bought the new mirror online). They said to come back Friday morning for the repairs. I walked in on the Friday a little after they opened and they had me out in under an hour. Prices are great and I was charged about $50 to have the side mirror installed. Super affordable, quick service, and very friendly.10/10 :)Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Brakes

Edited to reply: all i need to say at this point anymore is that we may not have mechanical knowledge but we had other mechanics look at it who do so that way we couldn't be blamedRarely write reviews but feel like we need to share....Short review: They fixed our transmission for us, broke other parts of the car in the process making it pretty much undriveable, wouldn't fix it without more money. Also left random pieces in car, and forgot to put a peice back on.Long review:We took our car here to get the transmission replaced (got ruined from a railroad track, was in good condition before the incident and had wise car people look at it first so we knew exactly what was wrong). Was one of the better quotes in the area, plus the place seemed clean. On the ride home from the car being "fixed", it made a new weird noise while driving, esp while accelerating which we got on video. First drive to work and it overheated.Took it back to the shop, they looked at it and said that it needed a new radiator.And that it was not their fault and that we would have to pay over $1000 more dollars to get it fixed. (cost $250 to do it ourselves, with buying supplies from scratch not in bulk)Yet, the radiator was in good condition before we took it to the shop and it has never even came close to overheating before. Every part by the radiator was in perfect condition after the accident! YET they still said it was not their fault....Dont worry, it gets even better sadly.Well we did it ourselves with the help of several car people, crazy enough, there was ATON of transmission fluid in the radiator. We had to flush it many times, and are still working on cleaning everything out. Had some other problems w the transmission but the owner didn't even want to look at it, thankfully a mechanic there heard and looked at it and fixed that little problem.Really wish the reviews were still true sense we trusted them with our car during a crazy time....But instead they made our car undriveable and refused to help, taking so much from our little family

Wow! I am so impressed with everyone at this shop. They worked a miracle on my A/C and didn t charge me an arm and a leg to do it! I will keep bringing my car to Nice Guys. They really are nice! Despite my a/c being very problematic and requiring more than one visit, multiple parts and several repairs, they didn t give up on it. And most of all, it was affordable! This place is amazing. The customer service was top notch. We came to Norfolk for vacation and our car got caught in a flash flood. It wouldn't start and there was water everywhere. I thought my car was going to be totaled but somehow they saved it. Not only did they do that, they took incredible care of me. I highly recommend this shop

Family owned, great group of guys run this place. No BS, personable, and awesome customer service. Need a break job? They got you. Oil change? No problem!You could do a lot worse than Nice Guy, especially in this town.

If you don't want to read, just take your car here. You'll find out very quickly why this place has it's name.Long review: Around this area, it's very competitive and very hard to find a reliable mechanic to trust with making the right decisions for your car with many nebulous fees attached to tasks you didn't need, but it seems it's the exact opposite here. A perfect example of this is:I took my car here to get my normal 60k mile maintenance that' I've been putting off for a while and it was done in a very timely manner. I've had this dent in the back of my bumper for more than 5 years that I've been too stubborn to fix and felt like it wasn't a necessary thing to pay for. Every time I've brought my car to get an oil change/inspection, I've always gotten a call along the lines of "Hey, i can pop this dent out of your bumper for 80 bucks. Want me to go ahead and do it?" I've declined every time. I went to pick up my car a day later, go grab something to eat after picking up my car, and almost didn't recognize my car after coming out of the restaurant because the dent was gone! He fixed it without charging me or even telling me about it. Not only did my car feel like it was my first time driving it off of the dealership lot (much needed TLC), the iconic dent I had has finally been fixed. Definitely taking my car here from now on, and I recommend that you do as well.If you want that "I'm just gonna let my car friend fix it" experience, take it to Jason.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Oil change

Jason was very helpful and I could tell he had my car s best interest, instead of just trying to make a quick dollar. He thoroughly explained to me the issues with my car and found same day resolution and now she drives as good as new! The pricing was good and service was amazing. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants a trusted, well knowledged, and well respected auto guy. Thanks, Jason!

Chose this place because of the great reviews. Our AC went out, and my husband made sure to mention the make and model and reiterate that it was an electric hybrid on the phone. Jason was very nice and assured us that was fine and to bring it in the next morning. Shortly after we dropped it off, they called and said that since it was an EV, there was nothing they could do. We were charged $60 to get it back. It just feels very dishonest to encourage us to bring in a car that they would likely not be able to fix without at least some sort of disclaimer. Definitely not impressed.
