I took my vehicle here for an oil change and inspection. I knew I'd fail inspection but needed to know exactly why and get some prices. I needed a few things done to pass inspection and the price was very fair in my opinion. I knew of one thing,cv axle, that needed replacing and they were half the price of other places I had gotten quotes from. I am satisfied with the work they did and the pricing!

I just have to say I am more than impressed with these guys. From their customer service to their skills. As a single female I NEVER feel worried that they are trying to get over on me. I leave with a peace of mind whether I've gone there because I've had a question or I'd I had something done I feel at ease when I leave.Thank yall so much it feels good to have one less thing to worry about

Last evening, I stopped by Ace Hardware to pick up *stuff*. It was getting dark on my way out. Started the mini and ... NADA! The workers at Ace were so kind and offered two different jumps. Neither worked. The manager said, "There's our friend Chris from that Car Repair right there. Let me talk with him." In a few minutes, Chris and his young son pulled up. He said, "Let me look at the car. I'm going to run to the shop to get some tools". He returned in a few minutes. I handed him the key and rolled with it. Chris ran diagnostics, a code reader, and a another battery charger. He evaluated my mini carefully and tried *this and that and that and this*. By this time it was dark. I was stressed, on the brink of crying, and trying to figure out how to get to my students the next morning. Chris said, "It's the starter. Let's move your car to the shop with a tow. Leave me a note and the key. I promise to fix your car so don't worry. It's okay." And so today at school, I received a call early morning. Because Chris' shop specializes in foreign vehicle repair, the parts for the mini readily available.The care, comfort, rapid repair, and fair price allowed me the opportunity to breathe *relief*.I am thankful my mini broke down at Ace, and thankful for their staff, and for Chris who is a frequent customer.Barbilina

WARNING do not bring your car here my car is well kept and taken care of the owner Chris took his precious time with my car upon pick up my car didn t even start at all wheels are very loose seems like they took my new battery and switched it to a faulty when I had dropped off my car it was perfectly fine and driving no noise or loose tires now car isn t running and he refuses to fix his response is to take him to court don t trust these people scammers I overheard owner saying military discount is 200$ extra dollars ridiculous no respect if I drove my vehicle perfectly fine why did it randomly stop working after being seen at this shop never have I had issues with my car until I brought it here

I took my car to get inspected. I hadn t been having any problems with it. I was surprised when it failed. I took it to AAA for an inspection and I told them what this garage said. When they were done, the only thing I needed was windshield wipers. Instead of having to spend $350 on an unnecessary repair, $50 and I m back on the road. Sad thing is, my friend(a guy)and I used to get all our repairs done here for years. This is the last time I will ever come here. My guy friend passed away but if he had been here to take it, I m sure it would have been a different outcome. Sad to think they tried to take advantage of me. Makes me wonder how many others have had this happen.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

The mechanics where screaming at each other, their shop is disorganized, and they made up a repair that "needed" to be done in order for my vehicle to pass inspection so they could make some extra money on the repairs. Very shady

Had the most ridiculous experience here trying to get a state inspection done. So I ll start with everything seemed cool at first, state inspection was done in a decent timeframe. When I was rejected for a couple things to include motor mounts, they refused to give me a list of what motor mounts needed to be changed. I asked for a list and breakdown of which lights, which windshield wiper and which mounts and I was told the inspection sheet is all I was going to be given. The Russian or wherever he s from office manager is ridiculous and running an establishment the wrong way. The man obviously got mad because I would not do the repairs with them because I can do them myself and get it re-inspected so he refused to give me a list of which parts need to be changed. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I feel so disrespected I want to report them because I know 100% you are supposed to be given list of these things so you can get them taken care of at a reasonable rate. Especially when I can do the labor myself. He s lucky I didn t make a bigger scene. Btw this is my first review I ve ever made. Stay away from this dump of a shop

I think they are good and honest workers. They went above and beyond to find any issues and didn't even charge .e extra. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I attempted 4 times to get my car inspected at this shop. Every time I went there even at 8:00 am there were numerous fleet account cars lined up in front of me. Cars from dealerships. People who don't have a entire day to get there cars inspected are out of luck. Bad business when you put fleet accounts in front of loyal return customers! I called and was told to be there early only to find 7-10 dealership cars with sales stickers parked in the inspection lane before they even open. I was one of there first customers when they moved to this location. Good service then. What happened Andrew? I will find a new place to take my money. Hope your discounted fleet accounts keep you in business. Treating loyal customers like this wont.

You know, I have been taking my cars to these guys for an inspection for awhile and sometimes they get backed up so I simply drop mine off and return to work. If you call ahead they will let you know how busy they are. They have done work to my cars in the past and it has always been reasonable (If there ever was such a word for automobile repair) and honestly diagnosed. I know because I diagnosed the problem before they got the car and sure enough it always was the same diagnosis and repair I came up with....I use them because they are convenient, reasonable and honest. They replaced an alternator and battery in my daughter's car recently and had it done promptly. I will keep doing business with them in the event I have car problems that I cannot personally solve.

Don t waste your time trying to get a state inspection here. The inspector is less than professional. He will find something that is wrong with your car. Then when you bring it back after making it right he ll find something else. Apparently it must be some type of power trip game and a way to drive revenue! I ve alerted the state police to this shop/inspector. They will handle it.

Very long wait. The guy doing the inspection arrived 1 &1/2 hours after the lady told me he would be there. When he arrived they put my truck to the front when I was 4th in line. Charged me $30 for the inspection and replacing a back bulb. While I was there I asked people hows the qualitybof there work. Everyone said that their work is good. Just long wait time.

The repairs on my vehicle were supposed to start on 08/14 the mechanic told me my repair would be done in less than a week here it is 2 weeks later I still do not have my car and I have been told to give the 2 more days and to stop pressing them because it is a big job i have checks issued for parts and labor paying for this is not an issue the staff has been very rude granted with needing more time no one has called me to explain this I have had to call several times just to get an update once my car is returned to me ( because no other shop will take it with someone else starting the work on it already) I will not be seeking their services ever again this probably wouldn t have been a problem had the customer service been decent but to be told that issues with employees is the reason my repair isn t finished by the time I was told is unacceptable DO NOT I repeat DO. NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SHOP They are very rude and unprofessionalService: Engine repair

Go to them every year for state inspection never had a problem. Had to get my state inspection done last week. Was in and out within 20 mins. Great shop!

Had an inspection done here. The owner is very rude and ugly. He talks disrespectfully to his customers. Unprofessional. They don t thank their customers either and they charge too much. I think he may be a little too comfortable here. Take your car somewhere else.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. Since I moved to VA I was looking for a mechanic that I can trust. And now I can say I found it at international auto care . Their customer service is the best and they are very honest and explained to me very well what needed to be done in my car, and for the first time I didn t feel like they were trying to oversell!! Overall the best mechanic I ve had in VA ...and I ve been in a lot of places ! Definitely coming back !!

Awesome people, good work and pretty fair price. Super friendly as well. They work with you if you need it. Only down side is they are super busy because of all the good things lol. State inspections are quick also.

Though I reside in Williamsburg, I always make the extra effort to take my vehicle down to International auto care in Norfolk. They have amazing customer service. Quick and well done repairs. Knowledgeable staff. Great ownership! I Highly recommended it!!

This place does good work, at a good price, and really go above and beyond. It's not fancy, etc-- but it's a repair shop, not a salon.The staff has always been helpful and polite.I drive up from South Mills, NC to use this place.

Went here for A tune up which took them 2 days to do to find out when I took my vehicle to get checked at another mechanic that they did not even change all my spark plugs!!!!! But charged $1000 do not go this place they will get over on you every time!!!

Overall a great experience.I feel like this guys took enough time to explain me what had to be done to my Audi, not just that, but the cost wasn't nowhere near what the other the other shops had estimated. Thank you!!!

Good costumer service and fair priced . l didn't feel like I got robbed out of anything during my state inspection , which is usually my biggest concern . only down side was the wait but I'll come back for the peace of mind I feel I got

Best shop in Norfolk. Honest people that do great work. If something is wrong with your vehicle they take the time to show you and explain things.

Horrible. Sat in line for an inspection for over an hour...first in line....nobody told me that the inspector was not even there even though I asked if they were doing inspections when I first arrived. Not to mention the place has become a junk yard
