Our salesman Marc Petit-Homme was Amazing! From the car lot up until the signing and everything in between he did a great job. We didn't feel pressured and most of all he was very upfront about every question we had.The entire Banister team was so welcoming and so helpful.I would 1000% recommend them. We couldn't be happier with our new addition!!

Bought a vehicle from Banister Nissan recently. Super friendly people, our salesman Ishmael went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.We came in knowing the vehicle we wanted to purchase and Ishmael helped us get the process started.Leaving a star off due to the stereotypical car buying sales process. (I d prefer less haggling, just give your best price up front.)After purchasing the vehicle, we discovered the brakes were pitted causing rough braking and a shaking steering wheel. However, after contacting them, I was pleasantly surprised that their service department replaced the brakes at no charge.Bottom line: Come to Banister for good service, but expect the typical car buying sales process.

First time ever being here came in for a recall and also to have some things checked on my car for state inspection. Let me tell you from the moment I arrived to the moment I left everyone that attended and assisted me was amazing so helpful and sweet. My service person Sean was the best he helped me out so much saved me so much time. I really appreciate him and how insightful he was about the things my car needed done. I even told my husband of how great everything was and that we are returning to get all our cars work done there.

Terrell and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were fast , attentive , and they did everything they could to make me feel welcomed, valued, and important as a person. Terrell was so kind and informative. He knew exactly what I wanted and brought everything to the table and then some. My experience was smooth, easy, and somewhat enjoyable lol. I am SO pleased to be a Nissan customer. They have never let me down. I will ALWAYS point someone to the Nissan direction. :)

I went to the Norfolk location to purchase some all-weather floor mats. After parking my vehicle, I was greeted by Mr. Ishmael Ferrell. His greeting was so warm I immediately felt welcome and a valued customer. As I told Mr. Ferrell, if I hadn't already purchased my 2024 Pathfinder from another dealership, I would have definitely purchased a vehicle with him. Mr. Ferrell has a wonderful presence, attitude, and aurora.

I recently visited the Nissan service department in Norfolk for an inspection of my vehicle, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Prior to scheduling the appointment, I inquired about the time required for the inspection and made arrangements accordingly. However, upon arrival, I was informed by one of the staff member(I don't know his name )that Nissan no longer offers Uber services for customers needing transportation during servicing a service they had provided in the past.Despite being told initially that the inspection would take approximately one to one and a half hours, it ended up taking more than two and a half hours. This significant delay inconvenienced me greatly, especially considering I had pressing obligations related to my studies, as I am currently in the midst of finals.Moreover, when I inquired about the delay, I was met with indifference until I spoke with another staff member who expressed empathy and apologized for the inconvenience. It was disheartening to learn that the Uber service could have been arranged.Overall, while the inspection was eventually completed, the lack of communication(the staff member I met first didn't even talk to me nicely), unexpected delays, and discontinuation of previously offered services have left me extremely dissatisfied. As a result, I am hesitant to return for future servicing and may reconsider choosing Nissan for my automotive needs going forward. I hope this feedback helps improve the service experience for other customers in the future.

We had performance issues with our nissian xterra 2002. We had the exhaust manifold tightened up, the ABS regulator exchanged for new, an O2 sensor replaced, some gaskets to fix oil leaks, a tune up and oil change done and some other minor fixes. Our project took several weeks which was trying but when we got our truck back it seemed and seems to be running a lot better , it is comforting to feel the quality of the trucks strength and potential preserved in the engines performance on a constant level driving on interstate or on the road. Although, there are still some fixes we declined upon service, we feel comfortable to know what those problems are and confident the truck is in great running condition so we can forsee future conditions. I like the breakdown of services recommended for our vehicle, which allowed us to be able to pick and choose any options we had as of priorities we needed most without pressure. Our car is running great and we really like that. Jason Gilllentine, was very nice and professional. He was easy to reach by phone and we trusted his expertise. The job did take several weeks but our truck is running great and we can see the professional quality of work by looking at the engine and driving the vehicle daily. We will definitely come back for future services and would recommend service to others as well. Nissan is a good truck, our Banister Nissan mechanic had the knowledge for the Nissan as well for a factory repair job.Thank you, Sincerely, Andrelina Polk in Norfolk, Virginia.

Upon arrival we were checked in and told service manager we would wait in their service lounge. Then after trying to be upsold extra work we settled for necessary to pass inspection work $500 vs. $75. We ended up waiting 3 hours for inspection and wiper blade install. Thankfully we were only charged $45 for having to wait extra due to miscommunication between service manager and service technician. Coffee and hot chocolate were spot on.

I walked into the dealership with nothing but faith and hope considering my credit situation to get approved for a vehicular. With the assistance of Angie Freeman and Jean Castel, they are truly GOD SENT. I was comforted and walked through the process very seamlessly. I was in complete awe at what they were able to do for me. Super thankful and grateful for the banister team, the process was the smoothest car transaction ever. It was almost too good to be true. If you re looking for a place to walk through the car buying process with someone you trust and feel comfortable with, the Banister environment and experience was 10/10!!

This was my first visit to Banister Nissan of Norfolk and it s wonderful here. The showroom is clean and the staff is very friendly. The cherry on top is that my dear friend Angie Freeman, the Owner Loyalty Manager works there and took such great care of me. I will be back to buy a new car soon.

I have been with working with the company since 2020 when I got my first car and was so excited. I want to thank Clayton from sales. Dominique from service was working on my 2019 Nissan Sentra since the day I got it and really appreciate it. Terrell from sales sold me my 2021 Nissan kicks and such a great experience with him. Suddenly, things took a turn for the worse after purchasing my 2021 Nissan kick. The people who clean out the cars stole some of my personal items out of my car and before I had a chance to clean out my 2019 Sentra. They brought me some of the items from the trash and I was able to salvage so of it. The main manager of the company was very helpful and we were able to resolve the issue. However, I m now wanting to take my 2021 Nissan kicks for a service three months later and I made my appointment as normal for 11 am the 20th of February. Received the routine call from Tim in service to confirm the appointment. Next day which is day of appointment I live on the other side of the water I called to see if it s possible to get my car in a little earlier than 11. Tim didn t have the best attitude on the phone when trying to help me. I hung up on him And called back and requested to speak to the manager. I decided to come instead was greeted by a nice sale representative and he directed me to the sales manager. Angela Freeman a service manager greeted me and heard me out. She assisted me was able to get my car in earlier. She addressed her service member and listen to the conversation on the phone. She accused me of taking frustration out on Tim and saying I was problem frustrated about not being able to come in earlier which wasn t the case at all. I think that s unprofessional to go straight to the customer and accuse them of having an horrible attitude. When I said it was ok to keep my appointment at that time. I had to remove myself from her office to compose myself. I spoke to her again and that point she made the decision to continue to be condescending and laugh in my face and I find that to be extremely disrespectful. I asked if I could be transferred to another banister Nissan and Angela Freedom suggest not do business with the company anymore because I already paid and have free 3 oil changes with the company I will continue coming here until that ends. But I will not be doing anymore business with this company after that. Thank you, those who were great along the way.

Banister Nissan of Norfolk is WONDERFUL! I am sitting in the showroom waiting on an oil change for the SECOND 370Z which I have purchased from Jean. I love the dealership, love Jean, and love both 370's that I have purchased. Salesman Jean (Castel) & Owner Loyalty Manager Angie (Freeman) are the finest folks with whom I have ever had the pleasure dealing. They never forget you and are just so kind and pleasant. And the Service Department is great too - they take GREAT care of me too. The entire organization at Banister Nissan of Norfolk are like a family and NEVER fail to make me feel welcome into their world. I just love 'em all there!

A quick oil change place told me they couldn t perform an oil change on my 2023 Rogue because of a recall due to a faulty oil pan and fitting design. I am not from this area and wanted an oil change before driving 16 hours home. The technician I spoke to checked my VIN for any recalls and luckily there were none. I was able to make appointment that fit my schedule. On the day of my appointment I was able to wait while the technician, India and the team, performed all inspections and maintenance on my car. My car was given the okay and I ll be heading back to New Orleans knowing that my car is 100%. I would recommend Bannister Nissan to anyone needing any automotive service.
