So I m only giving it the star I did because my service advisors are always so polite. But MY LORD why does it take over 2 hours for an oil change. I d understand if this was a one time thing but every single time I come for an oil change I m here all day. They have no consideration for the customers time. If I m forced to make an appointment I expect my car to get serviced when I arrive for my appointment. And I only come because the oil change is free but it s highly inconvenient. I have to take a day off from work if I ever need an oil change and it shouldn t be that way. Very disappointed with the service at this location.

The customer service is always pretty good, especially in the service department. They get my car in and out pretty fast and they don't hassle you about having them fix things that they notice need to be fixed. And I love that they have this link that they text you that then you can go into approve or decline services that they offer or suggest.

Terrible. 4-11-24 5:20pm Service department & parts department calls only hang up after a couple of rings. Tried multiple times. When calling the main number someone answered then transferred me to another department that hung up without answering. I will not deal with any dealership with this name in the future.

Last week I had my truck dropped off for transmission issues, after two days they recommended replacing the transmission for $16,000. I had it towed to a transmission shop for a second opinion and they diagnosed it as an electrical issue outside of the transmission and that the transmission was in perfect condition. Now I question the last repair I had banister do on the fuel system.Service: Transmission

My experience at this dealership was awesome! They are very attentive and straight shooters! No bs and and no games! I'm about my business when I go to purchase something and I know what I want! The saleswoman,Ms. Y, was AWESOME!!!!!!! MY purchase was smooth and I will be a repeat customer! And I'm loving my 2020 Nissan Altima.. Go to this dealership first, you will not be disappointed...

I ve been trying to get in touch with Norfolk and Chesapeake service locations multiple times a day for 2 weeks. No one answers and their voicemail boxes are full so you can t leave messages for callback. Seems impossible to get in.

Appreciative that as a walk in I was able to get multiple services still done in the short time frame that I was in town. They were friendly and communicative and didn't pressure me into the extra services that were recommended. They even had a military discount drafted on my bill without me asking based on the conversation when I dropped the car off. The only mildly concerning thing was that my tires had too much PSI in them and I had to empty some of the air out but besides that I am pleased with my service.

Worst service department ever!!!Had to take my wife s Murano in for a recall. Appointment was set weeks in advance for 10am. Service scheduler said it would take 3 hours. Wife dropped vehicle off and was not offered a ride home. I called her at 11am on my way home from work and picked her up. Had her inquire about a brake service, guy said he would look at them and let us know a price. At 430 pm still no word from them on if vehicle was ready. We were out shopping so we stopped by and luckily I waited in parking lot because my wife was told that vehicle wouldn t be ready till the next day around 9 am. So frustrating. No apologies. No offer for a loaner. Just a wait for a call which never came. Had to call main desk the next morning because no answer at service desk. Was told they would be calling me with update. Received a text that they were finishing up. A text!!! Again no apology just excuses on how he was only one working. And to top it off, no info on brake service. Not that I would have them do it at this point anyway. This is second time we ve had the worst service possible. Never again will we use them. Not sure how the sales department operates but unfortunately for them they will not get my business when I trade my wife s car in this upcoming December.

I had my vehicle serviced here. Really clean, very organized, everyone very professional. I did make an appointment prior to my arrival. Every thing went smooth. No discounts on the service but I don't mind paying for good service.

I literally just purchased a 2021 Nissan Versa S from Banister Nissan of Norfolk! The process was seamless and everyone I came in contact with was amazing. Charles Baker was the Sales Consultant I had. Upon arriving he met us outside and introduced himself. I already knew what I wanted and LOVE the fact he didn t try to over sale me. Great interest rate and payment options. Rudy Medina was who I dealt with when closing on my car purchase. He was great as well! Not only did he end up getting my interest down 3% but I also saved $100 on my car note payments compared to the original offer. Also, they threw in Gap Coverage along with Banister Perks (free oil changes) I m telling you guys they rocked! Last but not least my mom purchased a brand new Nissan Versa in 2019 from the same location as well. They are the best!!

I purchase my car from Banister Battlefield. The service center there is also good. But what makes the service center Norfolk great is Megan Shawn and Bryce. Those people and the great mechanics keeps me coming back to Norfolk. I love the customer service.

I had an appointment at 12:45 for a state inspection. Not only was it free but I was in and out in under an hour. The waiting area is clean and comfortable and the advisor Sean Thomas was very friendly. I am so glad I became a part of the Banister Nissan of Norfolk family!

Banister Norfolk is just ridiculous. Had a basic oil change at 12pm and was told there was 2 cars ahead of me and it will be a few hours. Wait as they are behind. What's the point in having a appointment if you won't be seen to hours later. They need to do better I understand that you may not be seen at the exact time but 3 hours later nope unacceptable and yes o.left didn't get it done.

Tito was rude. I denied service after they wanted my vehicle for well over 4 hours to look at. I called back to ask for a part that was missing from my vehicle. I heard him say as he was answering the phone ( what he want, what he calling back for) . After he transferred me. The mechanic said that he had my part. But just tell someone to give me another one. When I denied the service. They treated me totally different. This was very unprofessional. Its still alot more that took place. But I'll let the service manager know if he replies back to. Instead of putting all of that up here.

My 2018 Nissan Murano died. Had it jump started and knew I needed a new battery. Went to Nissan of Norfolk because it was closer than Chesapeake where I usually have it serviced. Got a new battery and went home. The car was dead the next morning. I called the service department and Megan spoke to me and said did you check the cables? I said I have no idea about the cables because you all just put in the battery yesterday, well whatever have it towed here. So I had it towed there and the cables were corroded. So those were replaced. The repair man who serviced the car was great, but how were those cables not noticed the day before? Megan needs to work on her phone skills.Service: Battery

TITO BARNETT! I have had a relationship with Nissan on Military highway over 15 years. My experience recently within a week was horrible. I arrived at 0730 AM. I had to pay for a state inspection that has been free in the past. I expected communication back for pricing , unfortunately was no call back. I was not informed of them not having my part until three hours later. I have never been treated like a non factor until recently. It took 9 hours to get a state inspection, change of tires, and a few checks. I was furious so no longer will go to that dealership going forward.I felt very much unappreciated and with hard times spent my COVID-19 check and was made to feel insignificant.

I had my car service appointment at 8:00am and did not get my car back until 5:35pm. They diagnosed my car and they said I needed struts and they installed it. Later, they found out that was not the problem after they installed the struts. The real problem was the sway bar links. I was told by Ryan Oliver (Service Manager) to go to Petboys next door to get the Sway bar links for the repair for my car. I felt like that was totally unprofessional and that not only because they expected me to picked up the parts. They made me pay $1,115.63 for the struts and labor fee that were not even needed. I felt like I should be reimbursed for the cost and labor for the struts that were never needed for the repair of the car.

Service Dept will try to upsell. They offer a rental car or an Uber for service that is expected to take longer. Disliked the customer service provided- Ariel was forgetful and had limited car knowledge. After getting service done here, I noted my steering wheel pulling to one side. I went elsewhere to get my alignment fixed because I didn t want to argue with them.

Not too thrilled, was supposed to come in for a tire rotation and oil change, tire rotation never happened. 2nd tire rotation I paid for and nothing. Only way I found that out was one of my rear tires had a nail in it. I've been riding with that nail for more than 6 months, saw the nail no tire rotation ; I go in for maintenance again in a few weeks, we'll see then

WORST, WORST, WOOOOORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD IN THE PAST 8 YEARS IVE BEEN WITH NISSAN EVER..... THE RENTAL MANAGER ( WITH ORANGE HAIR) QUE HAWKINS IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL... FROM HER EYE ROLLS AND TONE, I WILL MAKE IT MY DUTY TO MAKE SURE NO ONE I KNOW EVER GOES TO THAT LOCATION.. THE SERVICE REP BRYCE WASNT SO HELPFUL AS WELL..THE GM NEED TO DO DOME SERIOUS HOUSE CLEANING....

I took my car to Nissan Norfolk for inspection last month was giving a rejection because of brakes,Rotors,and windshield.Carried it back today after all work was done now they said airbag light is on so it was rejected again I always use Chesapeake Nissan with no problems and people are much more friendly from now on I will be taking it back to ChesapeakeService: Brakes

WE USUALLY DO BUSINESS WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSE BY AND DO A GREAT JOB.... TODAY ... B HAS NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON. WE BROUGHT OUR CUSTOMERS VEHICLE THERE WEDNESDAY 8/26 TO RE-CALIBRATE THE ADAS SYSTEM AND I CALLED TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS READY TODAY 8/27 ... THEY CANNOT FIND OUR CAR. :-/ WHO DOES THIS ? THEN THIS SAME CAR HAS A RECALL ON IT AND THEY WILL NOT FIX IT BECAUSE NISSAN HASN'T GIVEN THEM THE PARTS? THEY HAVE THE HOOD LATCH IN STOCK. WHAT GIVES? NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. I ASKED FOR THE SERVICE MANAGER ... CONVENIENTLY HE IS UNAVAILABLE. NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS WITH ANOTHER BUSINESS

Loved the service fully !!! Yameilee Baylor was truly amazing. Stayed with us after hours and I left with 2 vehicles that same day for the payment I wanted as well!!!!
