If I could give them less the one star I would. They came to our private parking lot. Towed one car and came back and attempted to tow mine. The same excuse on all of these complaints saying no decal. But they work for our lease company so all it took was a call to see my car is registered to that spot. But they have no interest in that . They are stealing cars. My landlord also said they informed them of my vehicle in 8/2022. I told them it was my car parked in my spot and they laughed and said call the cops. They are called Affordable because cars are free to them. Needless to say they left mines alone.

This company, and the people who work here are evil. Pure evil. They will justify beyond shady practices for the sake of a dollar. They re cowards and should be ashamed of themselves, but they won t because they re either sociopaths, or don t have but two brain cells to rub together.

This business is absolutely horrible. My husband s vehicle got wrongfully towed claimed they could not see a parking decal on his windshield but it clearly had one. The person we spoke to on the phone claimed, It s a bit difficult to see in the middle of the night but we didn t see a decal so we towed it. Sounds more of a personal problem to me. Upon arriving to their Norfolk Cromwell location, a lady was cleaning outside and ignored us and went right into the office. My husband called the office number back and the guy literally told us to , Yell at the window until someone comes out. So my husband tried to call for someone and after 3 minutes we were greeted with a lady that snapped at us that she had saw us and to give her a minute. Ridiculous. Praying we never have to encounter these horrible people or business againREVIEW UPDATE 12/12Upon leaving for work in the morning, my car was missing. Surprise, surprise, this company wrongfully towed my car. A couple months back, they did the same thing to my husband s car (thus, the review above.) I was very respectful and polite because I already knew the whirlwind of a rollercoaster this company was going to put me through. Sad to say, they have not improved on their communication skills nor their customer service.I had to pay a discounted fee to remove my car from their lot despite the fact that I had a decal they claimed that it wasn t located in an easily visible area. The same excuse they used when they towed my husband s car. The shenanigans from this place is a complete scam. Don t trust anybody that works hereService: Car towing

This company is horrible. The lady who is supposedly the manager doesn t know how to do her job or handle business in any capacity. The rudeness I encountered was on a new level. Affordable towing is in the business of unprofessional behavior.This is the first negative review I ve ever written bc of how horrible this company is. I was polite and calm the entire conversation letting the help line know about my situation, nothing but a disgusting attitude.

I'll update it anything changes.....They towed my car from my son's new apartment off base. He picked up my car and then days later had a police officer show up at base claiming he had committed a hit and run. Police claim a woman went to pick up her vehicle from tow yard and it was damaged. Tow company told woman my son hit her car despite there being no damage on my car. I requested any evidence such as video, but have been refused. Seems shady. Maybe this public post will get a better response. I'd just like to see the video or whatever evidence they claim to have so I can make sure this woman with damaged car in tow company's custody gets compensated by the person responsible.

Car was towed after being parked for less than 24 hours and then when we arrived to retrieve the vehicle they made us wait for multiple hours and kept putting off their arrival time.Also, they re in violation of the Virginia Code they have posted, in pursuant to by overcharging. Not actually affordable, contrary to the business name.

Unprofessional hung up phone mid conversation, sounds like the guys waking up from a nap answering phone calls. Says it will take 2 hours for a tow but are quick to come tow ur car if u have no decal. Highly do not recommend.

We ve called up here multiple times in regards to our mothers vehicle being towed without proper cause. First we were told that the vehicle was towed due to it being in a reserved spot but that s not true because there s no reserved parking at my mothers apartment complex. Then we were told someone from the leasing office provided documents stating that my mothers vehicle was not a vehicle that was registered at the complex. Tracey kept putting me on hold when I kept asking for the reason and when I asked for upper managements information due to her not wanting to admit that this tow was wrong. Seems like no one here wants to talk about the greed of towing and policies behind it.

The experience we had with this company was awful. First, my car was wrongfully towed. 3 different people employed by their company gave us 3 different reasons as to why we were towed, none of them making any sense. First we had a resident sticker parked in a visitor spot, Second we had a visitor pass parked in a resident spot, and Third we were a visitor parked in a spot when we are supposed to be parked on the grass. Mind you, there are no markings or labeled spots in the parking lot. There are two parking lots, residents can park anywhere, visitors can only park in the back parking lot where we were parked. And the lease states any vehicles parked on the grass will be towed. After providing proof of this; (lease with parking rules, having a parking pass) they refused to release my vehicle. I am a single mom, with 3 kids. I work full time. My only means of transportation and my children s car seats were wrongfully taken from me. Causing a huge inconvenience. I thankfully was able to ask a friend for help who payed the fees to have my car released, I had absolutely no way to pay them, I live paycheck to paycheck. This all happened over a weekend. I was unable to get ahold of the office manager at this time. After telling the office manager of the apartments what had happened, she contacted this towing company, clearing up the misunderstanding, telling them she is the only one allowed to authorize any towing on the property, and she did not authorize it. It was authorized by another tenet who they claim to be a manager. She corrected them, they told us we could call back a receive a refund the next day when a manger would be in, stating managers were the only ones able to authorize refunds. We contacted them the following day, the manager is refusing the refund still insisting they were right in towing the vehicle even after the proof of the lease and the office manager contacting them and correcting them. We tried to reason with them, they were rude, demeaning, heartless, and unprofessional. We are currently taking legal action against them. Another inconvenience. But this just isn t right, and they will be paying more than if they would have just refunded us due to their blatant mistake.

This place towed our car while we on vacation. We were parked in a unmarked parking spot and given permission to leave our car while we were on vacation. The day we left our car was towed by this business. When we went to pick up our car we were greeted by a sloth wearing a I hate people tshirt. The office was nasty and hot. It smelled like nasty cigarettes. The employees were rude and condescending. It cost us $315 to get our car back. I would not use this company even if they were the only choice and I was broke down in the desert with no water. What a bunch of crooks.

Trash, i paid what i owe, now i have to wait for someone to move a vehicle because my mine is blocked. My car hasn t even been here for a full 12 hrs. FYI about 6 months ago my boyfriends car was towed here. They made him have proof of insurance but i was never asked. SO depending on who you are they may or may not ask so see your insurance policy

Very unprofessional..This company is pure theives.I say that because I have had three cars taken from where I actually reside..Something has to change about this crooked operation..As soon as they take your car it's automatically 200.00 use. God do t like ugly I'm pretty sure this business will not thrive taking from my kids mouths..and you get a song and a dance to get property back...

THIS BUSINESS HAS THE WORST EXCHANGE EVER!! THEY DO THEIR BUSINESS OUTSIDE IN THE PARKING LOT AND NOT IN THE OFFICE. ITS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! AND THE PRICES ARE INSANE!! $220 TO GET YOUR CAR BACK!! ITS RIDICULOUS!! I ASKED HOW THEY KNOW WHICH CARS TO TOW? THEY JUST SAID WHATEVER CARS THAT DO NOT HAVE THE PARKING STICKER. AND I SAID THEY COULD'VE ATLEAST GAVE A WARNING OR LEFT A NOTE SAYING SOMETHING LIKE THAT!! AND HE ANSEERED WELL THATS JUST OUR AGREEMENT WITH THEM!! THATS RIDICULOUS CAUSE EVEN THE PARKING MANAGEMENT AGREED THAT THEY SHOULD'VE WARNED THE CARS FIRST!! I WOULDN'T HAVE MIND IF THE PRICE WAS UNDER $150 BUT $220 IS TOO MUCH!!! ITS CRAZY MAN! THIS BUSINESS IS GREEDY!!

The workers at the actual tow service were very nice but when I called the help line to ask about my car still showing as stored afterwards the woman who answered was extremely rude and zero help despite me being calm and polite

HORRIBLE!!! I was visiting my boyfriend's apartment, and they towed my car during the day. Their excuse was the decal was not present; however, I've been there for over a year and have never been towed. I leave for 15 minutes, and my car is already towed, but they don't tow cars that need to be at night. I would not recommend this service because they are not helpful, flexible, or manage their time correctly. We waited 30 minutes for a tow truck to be present, then were rudely greeted then honked at to leave our car. Cronwell sat in his vehicle to process money while we stood soaked in the rain. The operator was not helpful and put me on hold multiple times because they did not want to deal with my questions.Service: Car towing

NO INTEGRITYMy car was wrongfully towed and this company would not release it unless I paid. I had to get the property management of the place where I was parked to tell them to release my car. And then I get online and see this is standard practice for this business and I was lucky to have only had my time wasted. If you are looking for a tow company to contract look elsewhere, this place is bad business.

Horrible people! Will put a lien on your name, sell your vehicle, and refuse to remove the lien. If you value your money and sanity, go anywhere else!

Absolutely the rudest service.... my car got towed for no reason at my apt the sticker was visible the lady Amy that answers the phone was beyond rude when I tried to explain how I can't put the sticker on my windshield due to it being tinted (due to melanoma) and she said well it just looks like a piece of paper. She hung up on me 3 times telling me I was being rude when I wasn't, I was talking calmly unlike her. She said " then we will just keep towing it" I know they prob get bad reviews bc ppl are angry but this is a different situation. It's a medical issue. Even the tow truck driver called her the B word. She needs to be more understanding and stip thinking everyone is mean. I was just trying to resolve an issue. So this doesn't happen again. I need to speak with someone above her, before I take this to small claims court.

Worse towing company ever , the man lied and stated no black ppl ever worked here and I know I spoke to a colored lady pertaining to my truck as well as they broke my gear shift stealing my truck from out of a visitor parking spot no one has reached back out to me about my claim I m looking into suing them

Somewhere along the lines the towing company and the construction company and the apartment complex are not communicating. Construction crew told us where to park and we got towed. I call the towing company to explain what happened. The rude lady on the phone said we are only towing what we are being told to tow. I emphasized I was told where to park and she basically told me to **** off without saying it. What do you want me to say? Y all clearly have a history of Miscommunication if this many people are getting wrongfully towed.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 stars I would this place is absolutely deplorable, absolutely deplorable. They are thieves. They steal your car and extort money from you. so my advice to anybody that Has to pay a meter or has to have a parking permit on the vehicle in order to park , get it pay the meter the money and get the parking permit , because if affordable towing can get to your car and take it, they will. not only that they will make you wait for hours , anywhere from 1 hour to 2 1/2 hours before they ll come and give you back your vehicle and that s absolutely deplorable affordable towing in Virginia Beach by 18th St. is absolutely horrible

My car got towed so i came to retrieve it and pay for it. No one is here at the place of business we were standing waiting for someone for over an hour. I called the number posted the lady on the phone told me she has a driver coming to do the release. I asked why no one was here why can t she come and release my car she said that s not how it works she also said her receptionist didn t come to work so we have to wait. She had no ETA for me and was very rude

I had a friend come over to visit my apartment at about 10pm on 9/19 when she left at 12:30am 9/20 her car was gone. Called the number on the sign to let the company know she was on the way to pick up her car. Mind you they're a "24 hour business" (which just applies to the towing aspect) with an associate who answers the phone but, not one physically present to release the cars they pick up on the same night. The wait was supposedly 30 minutes for the driver to get back to the lot but, we've currently been waiting for over an hour for someone to actually get back to the lot. This place is a sorry excuse of a "business." Profit is the name of their game, regardless of what the customer has to go through to get their car back. They are truly professional conartist. They haven't held the car for even 2 hours and it's starting at $155 to get it back? I've been towed across several cities and have payed much less, else where. The lack of care from their employees is baffling. It's almost as if they're continously asking themselves "how can we make the customers day just a little more worse?" before answering the phone. Just down right bad business, if that's what you would call this place.

This company is absolute trash. They towed from a public parking lot when the vehicle hadn t sat for more than a few hours. They run up and down Berkley Ave. towing people from shipyard parking lots. It s really just preying upon people working in the shipyard. They re far from affordable.

Second time being towed by these folks they suck at everything, to make matters worst car was towed from guest parking spot! Too many obstacles to even get the car back when you get there.
