Went in to get wipers for my car. The clerk looked them up and assisted me with putting them on - in the rain, in the dark. He was very nice, and extremely helpful. The parking lot was a mess, but the store was clean.

I was two hours away from home leaving a conference when the five-year-old OE battery in my vehicle decided it would barely start my vehicle. This Advance Auto was the closest auto parts store, so that's where I stopped. As I entered the store I was greeted by a young man named Josh. He immediately asked what he could help me with. I explained my situation and asked if he could test my battery to confirm/deny my thoughts. Sure enough, the battery was bad. Back inside the store, Josh explained the available options that he had in stock that matched what I needed. I made my selection, completed the transaction, and we went back outside to install the battery. The entire process took less than an hour. While installing the battery, Josh noticed a loose clamp and that my air intake was almost completely off of the throttle body. He jumped right into fixing that issue and we got it tightened up. I just wanted to write this review to give credit to a young man who truly cares for what he does; he was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Josh went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Thank you, Josh!

Great staff, actually came in when a customer was being rude and the staff handled it pretty well. I believe the Store Manager name is Miles, he defused the situation and then proceed to help me change my blades and showed me where to check for my oil levels.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Was very grateful as I'm not a mechanic and they didn't talk down to me or try to use mechanic lingo I don't know

HORACE IS THE BEST!! I came in needing license plate screws, but when I realized I didn't know the size, Horace went above and beyond to help me out. When the store didn't have the right screwdriver, he went to get his personal tools, took off my old plate, found the right screws in the store, and completely rigged up a secure, sturdy new license plate system since my Volkswagon's pre-made holes were in the wrong spot for the VA license plate holes. He could have easily shrugged it off and told me to go find a VW dealer, but he wouldn't find that acceptable. I was here a few months ago for a jumper cable, and the customer service was great then, too. I highly recommend this place for any of your car needs, even when it requires something "non-conventional" as Horace would say :)

My car battery died and by the time I got a jump it was around 8:35 p.m. I came to Advanced Auto Parts around 8:45 asking if I could buy a car battery and have it installed before they close at 9:00; Josh H. was the associate who helped me. Not only was he nice/friendly, he was quick as a whip! I was out of there with a new battery in my car by 8:52, it was incredible. He was very kind and didn't make me feel like I was a hassle for having rolled up there right before close. He made my day!

I had a headlight out and went up there Saturday. I really wish I could remember the name of the guy that helped me. There were two, a Caucasian guy and an African American guy, both seemed nice, but the African American guy helped me. Two things I noticed before he helped he, there was another lady there and he had already anticipated her needs and requests, and then reassured her that she was all set. The second, he was friendly and personable and patient. I had been told that I could get someone to change my headlight for me, but he advised that he couldn't do it for me, but could walk me through it. I'm very short and I joked, "I'm not sure if I'm tall enough to see over my hood, and he joked back that he could get me a bucket to stand on, which I appreciated, and made me feel comfortable. He went well above and beyond! He was so very patient walking me through changing the bulb, and in the middle it started to rain. He stayed there with me completely patient, kind, and keeping me laughing while I struggled to change the bulb, and we were both getting wet. Then he gave me a double high-five when it was done. It was an amazing experience and he could have easily, and understandably gotten frustrated and recommended I get someone to help me or come back when it wasn't raining, but he didn't. He had the patience of a saint and a personality that made me feel I could do it.

They tested my battery for me. Very professional and kind. They even installed my battery when other competitor auto part stores refused. Roshan is who helped me get back on the road today. I definitely recommend this location and Roshan. Thank you!

All I went into the store for was a tire inflator and got a whole lot more.The store associate that helped me was Josh. I had a few questions on an issue with my car and he took the time to come outside and show me some things rather than just telling me about it. He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and far exceeded my expectations. He definitely went above and beyond in my honest opinion. Plus, I even got a $20 rebate on my receipt for the tire inflator which was totally unexpected.THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

I came here for a quick diagnostic. An employee help me right away with the device and diagnosed my car. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide a printed copy of the diagnosis, so I had to take a picture of the details.Everyone seems very nice and helpful.

I went to go get my battery tested to see if I needed a new and there was an elderly man who seemed to be annoyed that I even walked through the door. He tested my battery and told me I had to keep the battery on the charger overnight. He then asked me if I left my phone charger in my cigarette lighter when I told no he looked at me as though I were lying. That was absolutely the worst customer service I had ever received I will not be back.

Everything was good except for when I first got in there, there was only one cashier. The cashier that was there was taking a little too long to give help. I wasn't in a rush or pressed for time but I can imagine if I was it would have been very frustrating. Other than that great place.

Brianca(with the dread locs) has the most worst attitude and I will never shop at this Advance Auto parts again. When I came in and spoke she acted as if I was being a nuisance then since she was the only one at the counter I had to ask her if a part was in the store for her to look up and she gave me the most hateful stare like I didn't belong there. We are all dealing with something in life but you don't have to put that energy out into the public. I"m never coming here!

After my car battery died and I received a jump start, I drove into this store and my fears were immediately calmed and reassured by Doug who not only provided phenomenal service but is a true asset to your store! Because of him, this will be my new go-to store!!

Nice new building it reason this shop didn't get 1 start from me. Multiple times have I come here and had to wait 20+ minutes for service. Today I waited 30 min while one employee was on the phone and the other was doing inventory. There was 3 people behind me in line as well. Once I was finally aided... I was given the wrong part for my car, twice. I had to look it up myself, and was finally told that they didn't have it. There goes an hour of my time wasted for nothing.

I ordered my parts online and by the time I got to the store, they were ready. Great service, knowledgeable people. They had the parts in stock and the best price for all the stuff I needed to fix the brakes and replace the front roters.

Big love to this shop. With hurricane Florence bearing down us I arrived to find this store boarded up. I saw some staff standing by the side door and asked if they were legit-closed. They said they had the commercial side open and asked what I needed. I had two bulbs go out on my Subaru and they hooked me up. Probably thought I was crazy because I was on my bike. Hurricane? Ain t nobody got time for that!

I regret to inform that I have to change my review ..based on..this ..my husband was sold a more than half empty battery ..was brought to their attention ..and nothin was done about it..also had a "Guy" outside helping the females in the parking lot with changing her spark plugs aswell as other female.. husband needed a jump ..shows no interest even tho he was offered $20 so not only I'm addition to the falty battery a second party who is not a employee working for them !? What happens if he messed something up .who is to blame then?? Mr bill is the only person in my opinion and my experience who will shoot you straight..the others show less than interest in the job itself ..so be mindful of your trip to this particular auto store ..if any updates occur I will update ...

This particular Advance Auto Parts store must be this sorriest one there is had to go back four times first time wrong size tubing and fittings did not figure this out until after I got everything cut put together and went to put it on the vehicle went back. All right fittings had to go back to get some more hose clamps so wrong size hose clamps had to go back get more hose clamps this went on and on unfortunately unable to get any money back roughly spending 62 $75 wasted everybody in the store except for the one lady that was working yesterday needs to be fired either they are dumber than a box of rocks or they are so precious they do not want nothing to do with a white person you take your choice I don't know what else it could be

I came into town to see my boyfriend play at the NorVa and ended up having a headlight go out while I was down there. After his set, we decided to go replace that and get new wiper blades when I locked my keys in my car. We had to get back to the venue so I contacted local police to bust me in (which is standard where I am from) but no luck. I finally went back inside to call family who had AAA when the associate who was assisting me over heard and said not to worry, that he has a card and can call for me. Ryan J. you are an angel!!! While we waited my boyfriend was able to work on my car and by the time we were done, AAA showed up and was able to get us in. Thank you for the excellent customer service and for saving our night!

The staff is always friendly for the most part at AutoZone parts places that I go to this particular place I went to I had to get my car checked and the staff came out and use the machine on my car they were very helpful I didn't have any other questions cuz I just needed that and I've been there before to get parts all in all I have a good experience when I go

The staff here is always super helpful. Whenever I have gone here I have needed to get in and out quick and the staff has always been attentive and helped me do just that.
