Stopped by just to have tires removed and put on different wheels, balance, valve stems. So my tires, my wheels, should be a quick job, but they quoted $200.00. I said no thank you and left...50.oo dollars a tire just to remove from rim install on new rim, balance? Ridiculous! Seems like they looked at me and thought we can get more out of this guy.

Will be calling in tomorrow because I purchased 2 brand new tires, service was super fast but they put the wrong tire size. Asked for a 245-45-17 and they put a 235-45-17. I m not sure if they got mixed up because my front tires are a 235-45-17 but they re supposed to be staggered. Hopefully this will be fixed and I can update my review.

I needed just one tire as I waited for my new tires to get in. They were quick and decently affordable. Nice staff and they didn't give me any sales pitch or tried to sell me anything else. I told them what I wanted and in and out I was. I will see what happens in the following days until my new ones come in.

I needed air in my work vehicle tires. The very nice gentleman gladly put air in my tires for me in the cold rain. Thanks to him I could safely pick up my elderly clients. I highly recommend this tire business.

Went in for a normal tire change thursday and made it to saturday morning untill it blew out to shreds. Nice people, good customer service. But BUYER BEWARE, purchase at your own risk. They only fix anything 3 days after purchase, tires sold as is and no warranty. And they wont tell you that untill everything is done

Don't get your tires mounted here. Asked them if they could do my wheel and tire as I knew it was a more difficult tire. They said yes 3 times and insisted it wouldn't be an issue. Bring my wheel back to me with several millimeter deep gashes and paint torn up in upwards of 20 different spots. Asked them what they planned on doing about it and just said nothing and sent me on my way. If you care about your stuff this isn't the tire shop for you.

I went there to purchase a used tire. 235/75r15 for some reason is kinda rare. The guy working there was a real nice guy and got things done quickly. However, he installed the wrong size tire, 235/70r15. I'll cut him a little slack because someone wrote the wrong size on the tire but still he should have double checked it. The thing that I disapprove of is the price, they charged me $70 for a used tire, a used tire. Most other places charge anywhere from $30-$50. The employees are good fellows but should be monitored while working.

Unfortunately they don't allow 0 stars The absolute worst place you can purchase a used tired in Newport News. Just skip them no matter the price. you will waste your money. i've had 2 negative experiences here.purchased a used tired. the next day i had to put air in it. which i assumed was normal. over the next 2 weeks i put air in the tire every single day. When i contacted them they dismissed me. Offered to charge me to repair the leak. Keep the money and get a new set.

Integrity means a lot to me and Quality Tires embodies that virtue. After I paid for a tire they came back with change after accidentally overcharging. Just 5 dollars but that meant a lot. They are also efficient. Highly recommend!

Quality tires??? Used tires are pretty good but the staff member put my tire on backwards. it plainly states this side out which caused me to fail inspection! Then they strip my caps and charged me $25 for them to use a special tool to take the Caps off because they rounded them out I would give them a no stars if no stars were available.

Please please don't get a tire from here. My daughter got me a tire from here a little over a week ago. The tire kept needing air every other day. I went back to find out there was a hold in the wheel wall of the inner tire. The gentleman said there was nothing he could do. I am going to contact the bbb and the business management of newport news. They need to be shut down immediately. The economy is already costly.

This was a place recommended by my boss when I had 2 flats. This is my third visit there. They were able to get me in quickly. I ended up getting 4 tires from them at a fair price the first time. They patched some later holes. Ran over too many nails so ended up getting another tire on my third visit. Courteous and professional, I will use them again in the future.

Wow! Got a great deal on four good quality used tires . Paid less than half the price I would have had I gone with new tires or even an online outlet store. They were patient with me as I checked each tire before installation and had all four tires installed in less than 30 minutes! They also balanced each tire and did a soap wash to check for leaks before putting them on the vehicle. Friendly and professional. Great experience and highly recommended!!!

Quality used tires is awesome! Joshua was so helpful, friendly and helped my boyfriend. The service was fast and pleasant. Recommend this place of business to anyone needing a good reliable used tire, my boyfriend said the tire was in better condition than he had seen at any used tire place!!

I got a used tire there for my car it looked new and it has worked out great.So I called them when my van needed a whole new set of tires. They ordered me a brand new set which was delivered in 2 days, install took 30 minutes or so and I saved $800 from what Firestone was going to charge me. Great service and products! Thanks guys!

This place is fantastic! I have two cars, one needed 4 tires and quickly. The other needs 2 and I will be returning in a few weeks to get those. I got 4 tires with no hassle and great service! The customer service was fantastic, I met Phil and OB, two people I highly recommend to help anyone with their tires/cars. They worked with me on what tires I needed(new/used) then worked with me on the price. I highly recommend this tire place to anyone who wants good quality service as well as good quality tires at a nice price. Thank you so much Phil and OB!

They had the right sized tire I needed and in very good condition. They were very quick in changing it for me even though it was Saturday and a couple people in front of me it was quick. Also didn't make a huge dent in my bank account.

I purchased a used tire and asked them to install. They found the problems with this other tire and made sure that I was all set. I'm very happy with their willingness to make sure I was in a good place. After working for 45 minutes, they didn't charge me for any repair work. They Just wanted to make sure it was done right. I hate writing reviews, but these guys were worth the five-stars today.

I have been going here for 5 years and recommend it to others, not something I do with many places. I showed up today for one and ended up with 2 pairs of matching high end tires with great tread on a BMW with lug bolts. Always been treated fair, never made an appointment, quick in and out.

I came out of work to find a screw in my tire. I went to Quality used tires and they fixed my tire within 20 min. The price was great and the guy did my tire in 107 degree weather and didn't complain once! Nice people there

I was honestly a little skeptical but after reading the reviews I figured we would go and try it out. I wasn't even in park yet and one of the workers was already out of the building to greet me. He helped me get my tire out of my vehicle. Extremely friendly and gave me a good price for what I needed. Then gave me a discount for being military. Hands down one of the best service I have had since being in Virginia. The other reviews are correct.

I recently used this shop to complete work on my vehicle. Upon completion of the work I was given a price different than I was quoted. To avoid the hassle I went to the service counter to pay the full amount requested. The employee at the counter insisted I speak to the owner regarding my concern, but I was adamant that I did not want to that and I would pay the requested amount. Anyhow, the employee took it upon himself to tell the owner I had a concern and the owner flipped out and told another employee to remove the items installed on my car. The owner never talked to me or asked me about my concern, he just made assumptions and acted erratically. The owner of this shop is extremely unprofessional, dishonest and rude. If I would do it again I would have him take everything off the car and call him on his games. I am filing complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies. I would strongly advise you avoid this shop, they do no care about their customers.

I brought my own 2 brand new tires to be mounted and speed balanced, and brought my old tires back with me to help reduce with the cost. I was given a cost by one employee yet, charged a different price when I was cashing out.I have directional tires and rims and explained to them several times to make sure they weren t put on the wrong side and yet they still put it on the wrong side and had no idea or the tools to put it to torque specs.This place is very unprofessional not to mention very unorganized.

Great price, fast and friendly service. I called several other tire shops in the area. One tires shop over priced the used tire and Quality Used Tires beat there price. I guess when your vehicle has bigger tires that are hard to come by used. Some places charges alot more. Well Quality Used Tires didn't. For a second I thought I was gonna have to drive to Norfolk to get a tire. Thanks guys for the service and I will be back.

Went to this establishment last year after a recommendation from a family member. I needed a tire and brakes put on my car for inspection they did both the jobs for a very reasonable price. What impressed me most was when I was driving off I made a u-turn to head home and the person that put on my brakes thought he heard squeaking, I did not realize it until I got about 5 miles down the road and just as I was about to turn around they were calling me to let me know that they wanted me to come back. Sure enough something had worked its way loose with my brake and that's what was causing the noise. It made me feel very good as a customer that they have so much pride in their work and went the extra mile.
