My husband bought me my Traverse I ve been wanting for years. We had an amazing experience with the sales department. Gil was very personable and with assistance of the GM ensured we drove away that night in our new car located at another location. We really have nothing negative to say about our purchase experience. I had to come back for the detail and some other things as it was later when we wrapped up (almost closing and we had things to do ourselves). It did take a few hours in service on a Monday but I expected this and just brought my work with me to keep busy.

I had a great experience at Priority Chevrolet. This due to the professionalism and knowledge of our Service Provider Tanisha. Tanisha always provides great recommendations and suggestions that are needed for the maintenance of my vehicle and ensures my vehicles works as good or better than when I brought it in for service and repair. Kudos to Tanisha for all the great work she does for Priority Chevolet. Thanks for the great service.Tyrone and Celeste JohnsonNewport News VA(Proud Army Veterans)

Steer clear of this place. They practice predatory diagnostics and pressure you to sell you car to them.I came in for a routine diagnostics for my car, and I expected to pay a reasonable price for some minor issues that my car had.I received a quote from a customer representative at Priority Chevrolet that did not clearly state prices. I just saw a random picture of several numbers that did not have labels. The representative proceeds to call me and tell me that my car has several "major" issues that need to be fixed and that it would cost me several thousands of dollars. The representative then tell me that I should probably just sell my car at this point because it is too old. It is not old and it has never had major mechanical issues!More like she wanted a cut of the commission.I proceed to tell them that I am going to pick up my car and just take it to a local, trusted mechanic to get it.However, when I go there my car does not work and my key is damaged. I tell them that my car worked fine and then it magically does not turn on.They somehow expect me to pay for repairs when they have now made my car not turn on. They have my car, and they do not give me a clear answer when I will get it back.Stay away from this place. They are looking to pressure you to sell your car and they are very unprofessional.

Your technician overheard my frustration and saved the day by taking care of my vehicle immediately after I sat/waited needlessly for over 2 hours! Because your personnel do not touch on the basics of checking a customer in and make sure they know A) why they are there AND B) whether they are waiting, you sat my vehicle in the back for 2 hours why I waited for an oil change. When I approached the male service writer, he blew me off and said the female would let me know when it was ready without even checking! It was only after I personally strolled the parking lot and found it in back before I reconfronted the service manager, who still had an unacceptable answer to how much longer I had to wait to be seen (now that I was pushing being late for my own appointment). You people can and should do better than this for the rates you charge for an oil change!

The wait time was a little longer but I feel they did a thorough job looking over my vehicle.. only thing needed was an air filter which was videoed and sent to me while I was waiting. Got a manicure while waiting as well. John Sherman is the only service advisor I like to deal with

Sade was amazing and very accommodating. This is my 2nd experience buying a vehicle and she made it so easy and convenient for me. Worked with my hectic schedule to get everything done and drove off with my new family vehicle. I recommend Priority Chevrolet for anyone who wants to find their perfect vehicle ! Thank you again

The Call Center team is absolute rubbish. I received a call from the service dept. with recommended services. I told the direct service advisor I would call them back and asked if the telephone number provided was acceptable, she stated it was. After 10 minutes I attempted to call back. I was sent through the system of "Press 1 to leave a message, 2 to wait". after waiting for 20 minutes I decided to leave a message. My vehicles service was scheduled for the next business day I left message for my choices. Upon receiving the call that my vehicle was done I was informed that the additional service I had left a message for was not completed and that there would be a delay as my original service was already completed.... Although Both services were done eventually the "call center" is not portraying your company in a good way.Service advisor Tanisha was great and unfortunately had to bear my frustrations with the above issue.

Be very careful if you must buy a new car from this place. They were very sneaky about adding extra charges such as permaplate protection and priority premier package that totaled over $2000.00 extra on top of the total.price. These charges were not itemized on my contract so I went back and questioned it and that's when they showed me that is was on the initial paper from the negotiation with the salesman. Again, this paper was not included with my official contract and was not listed under the itemization. I originally wanted to purchase our new vehicle at Casey but they did not have the car we wanted in stock. When we bought our last vehicle at Casey, they were very straight forward with all of the charges and everything was listed on the final contract. Due to their shady actions at Priority, I will definitely not be buying my daughter's car or any other cars from there.

My Service Advisor was very good. She was extremely nice and was knowledgeable. The actual service department needs a lot of help. If you call in, the phone just rings and rings. No one answers the phone. The only way to get anyone on the phone is to select the option to schedule a service, but then it directs you to a call center that isn't on site and to a person that has a hard time understanding and speaking English. I figured out that I could text my service advisor, which was nice and was the only way that I could get ahold of anyone in the on-site service department! The technician that diagnosed my vehicles issue, didn't really diagnose anything. I told my service advisor that: the transmission was slipping, the transmission was making noises when going to shift, the transmission fluid was dirty and smelt burnt. Guess what the technician said? EXACTLY what I told my service advisor and didn't provide any additional information except "recommend transmission replacement." No No No No... I already knew that. I wanted an actual diagnosis. I could have typed the symptoms in a google search and it would have told me more information than what I received. $165 for a technician to drive the vehicle for 5 minutes and tell me what I already knew and what I already told them. Unacceptable. The Priority name used to stand for excellence. If it was a Priority dealership, it may be a little on the pricey side, but you were getting A+ technical and customer service. This is just not the case anymore. I won't be bringing another vehicle to a Priority Dealership Service Center, ever again.Should be a 1-star review, but I made it 2 because the Service Advisor was really trying her best with what she was given. Other than the positive experience with my Service Advisor, it was a 1-star experience.

This is the only place that has worked on this vehicle since I moved here. Usually I have been very happy with your service. At this visit I asked that you replace a splash guard that you left off at the previous service. I was told it would cost me $200 to replace a part that you removed and didn't replace. While that may be a profitable business practice for you, it does not give me any confidence that I can trust you to work on my vehicle any more.

I always have problems making appointments and getting service. I never had these problems in Chesapeake. I made an appointment for oil change this morning two days ago. I confirmed twice and I was told they didn't have it. I made the appointment online or at least I thought I did. Why change how you can make an appointment and not let your customers know!!!!!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND was sold my car not even month later my heat stopped working I was told I would get a FREE diagnostic when i went and dropped my car off at 10:10 for my 10:30 appt at 3:30 my car still had not been serviced and they were tryna keep my car which was inconvenient because I had to go to work and they already had my car ALL DAY. They promised me either a ride on shuttle or loaner car and that didn t happen either. I had to pay out of pocket for an Uber!!!

The customer service at this place is awful !!! I was not greeted or assisted when I entered the building as I struggled carrying an infant car seat and diaper bag. I ve been apart of the key tag oil change program for years, I recently scheduled an appointment for an oil change and was not informed until I arrived that it is now $49.95. I informed the manager that the price on the website was still stating $19.95 and that they should honor that price. I was told oh no I can t , we would lose money . Well I hope you know you will end up losing more money as you lose loyal customers with this poor customer service.

im very satisfied with my Experience at Priority Chevrolet in Newport News Va. Gil Brown was my salesmen and he was very transparent open and honest during the entire process i purchased a 2020 Ram and so far im really enjoying it! its my first ram and i think Ram trucks will be my go too from now on. all the staff at Priority are professional and on point. i love the fact that they offer a priority for life for my vehicle. my second car has shown me that a warranty or a priority for life and gap is a ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!! i would 100% recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle at this location. so with that being said Perfect dose not exists in this world the only small issues i have is that the vehicles need to be looked over a little more thoroughly i had a slight issue with the door cluster that controls the windows and side view mirrors had some shortages (easy fix) and one of the rear head rests just won t go down it s stuck all the way up other than that the vehicle is clean runs smooth and will be a asset for years to come. again i d like to thank the entire team at Priority Chevrolet in Newport news for helping with the car buying process!!

Wow! I haven't been screwed this bad in awhile. Went to have a service performed per my owner's manual. I was told the service wasn't needed. I showed them my manual and was still told it wasn't needed but there were some recommended services. I figured since I didn't need spark plugs I would do some of the other stuff. 30 minutes later they came back and said I did need spark plugs after all on top of the work that was already started. What a scumbag practice. I've been going here for years but will NEVER go again. You've been warned.

While its lovley they now send you a video of your car once its done, it still took 3 hours for an oil change, only an oil change. Myself and one other lady were both the only ones in the waiting room at a point because people were coming after us and leaving before us for oil changes as well but both mine and hers took 3 hours for an oil change , before the videos a few months ago I was in and out in under 30

Tanisha has always made my visits enjoyable. The customer service representative was so unfriendly that I almost went to another dealer. I scheduled an appointment for service at different dealer but their appointment was too far away, so I contacted Priority to schedule upon arriving I was treated by Tanisha and my reception was totally different. She was so knowledgable and extremely willing to make my experience the best it could be. I m totally happy with taking my business to Priority.

Dropped my car off on Tuesday for a Wednesday appointment to replace my front brake pads. Ran some errands before heading home and got a call that my car was ready. Seems they were able to get my car done early. Thanks John, we really appreciate the quick service.

The name Sade speaks for itself just like the artist. 10s all across the board, customer service was outstanding, was very helpful on explaining and giving information. I was able to test drive and finance my first vehicle within the same day as an early birthday gift. IF not the best dealer in Newport News, then DEFINITELY one of the best dealers. Also want to give a shout out to the rest of team for their outstanding customer service as well. THANK YOU EVERYONE AND GOD BLESS.

I scheduled an appointment for Friday 2/23. When I arrived as schedule 10:30am I was informed it would take 2 to 3 days to diagnose my Truck's check engine light issue. Meaning they would need to keep my truck for 3 days for a diagnosis. The diagnosis wasnt completed until Wed 6 days. I know Sunday doesnt count. It would have been nice had the service center communicated this in advance. I clearly stated my issue and what I was coming by for when I reserved the reservation online. By Monday at 2:30pm I had not heard from anyone about my truck. I sent John a text to the number he provided, stating that if I had questions or concerns, I feel free to contact him. No one responded to my text. I called and kept calling the next day Tuesday for over 40 minutes I had to keep pressing the number 3 option to stay on the line every 2 or 3 minutes. Pissed off I hung up called the sales department and requested they transfer me to John.I am annoyed that I was quoted almost $2700 in service and repairs. I dropped my truck off to have the check engine light issue resolved which cost me about $1,200. But since my truck was there, almost $1500 in recommended services was added to my total. Including rotating my tires. I bought new tires from another dealer less than a year ago they were balanced and rotated then and probably have less than 8000 miles on them. John was polite and explained things only after I started asking questions. Honestly this left me with a bad taste. I'm aggravated that no one bothered to call me instead I recieved a text with links to click on and look at the issue with my truck and then approve the service. I know we live in an automated world these days but I find that extremely unpersonable. The system didn't work, I got error messages when I clicked on the link and I couldn't get anyone on the phone for over 40 minutes. This seemed very shady, click here with no verbal explanation for $2700 worth of work when all I needed was $1,200 worth of work. The link to the description of work didnt work. I felt like since he's here to get work done on his vehicle let's try to milk him for everything we can. I was able to pick up my Truck around 3pm Wednesday afternoon after dropping it off Friday at 10:30am. Both of the shuttle drivers are extremely nice and I have nothing but good things to say about them. That's about the only compliment I can give Priority.Honestly I've ignored these review requests for the last 1.5 years I've been coming here. Why because every experience I've had here has been bad except for 1 oil change and that is coming from someone that brings his truck and car here. This location is usually understaffed or backed up, and from what I understand only has 1 lift. You all are down 2 techs, with a new hire supposedly starting soon. I understand that makes the time I get service here take longer than it should. That's not the customers fault, and it means usually any work I need done is going to take forever. Why should I continue coming here when I know it's going to take longer to get work done? There are plenty of other places I could go. I haven't responded to these requests for a review because I really didn't have anything nice to say about my previous experiences. I moved to Newport News 1.5 years ago and chose Priority only because it was close to my home. 13 years prior to I lived in Harbor view and went to Hall Chevrolet for all my work. The experience between Priority and Hall is night and day. Maybe Hall set the bar too high, but Priority falls terribly short. Twice since moving here, I've been hit and, through insurance, had to get repairs through Suttle. The service manager without an appointment immediately stopped what he was doing and personally did a quick diagnostic of my truck and printed the report for me before I took it to Priority and for free. Priority makes me feel less like a Priority and more like an afterthought. I am at my wits end and seriously considering never returning with either of my vehicles despite the convience of location.

I took my 2021 Traverse in for a state inspection. I had an 11:30 appointment and arrived at 11:15. A mechanic came and got my car before I made it to the customer waiting area. There were 2 people waiting already and another guest came after I did. First of all, the waiting area needs a face lift. The chairs are ripped and not comfortable at all. I waited for my car for 2 hours and was the last person in the waiting area. When I went to question how much longer it was going to be for my car, the employee asked another employee if they had gotten paperwork on my car. He shrugged his shoulders. She asked him where is her car? . He shrugged his shoulders again. She went into the garage and a few minutes later came back with my paperwork. By this time, I have been waiting 2.5 hrs for a free state inspection. I truly believe they finished the inspection before lunch but never put the paperwork in because when I asked how much longer it was going to be, they found the paperwork and it was already finished. I was also told there some people that wait 5-6 hrs for their cars to be inspected so 2.5 hrs wasn t bad! The manager said that by law, they need to take cars for inspections in the order they arrive. What good is it to have an appointment then?
