I took my car to Henry s tire and auto last September and I m still trying to get my car up and running. I paid them in full and they were unable to fix my car. Now they go back on a promise that they made saying that they would refund at least half of my bill. Now they are saying they meant to only refund half of the labor. Now I have the car in another shop and they are charging me even more to fix all the mistakes Henry s tire and auto caused to my car. In a few days, this will have been a year and my car still hasn t fixed and they took my money. Also they gave my credit card info to another shady business and I had to call and dispute a charge from a company that I have never even been to!!! They obviously do not keep sensitive info like credit card information private like the way it should be. The owner of this business never valued my time at all. Also, they do not treat their employees the way they should. Shelton has been very pleasant and helpful but unfortunately his supervisor rather go on multiple vacations ironically with the money he took from me and didn t provide anything but a headache. Shelton s supervisor also took money from his own employee because his boss claims he s taken too much time on my car and has to pay for the loss which is absolutely ridiculous. If anything this owner of this shady business should pay Shelton and I for waisting so much of our time since his version of working and solving problems is going on vacation constantly. Regardless stay far away from this place because the upper management clearly has no idea what they are doing or how to treat customers.

Stopped by about my tires being loud at highway speed. Shelton assessed my problem on the spot, told me what needed to be done, and where I could take my car for an alignment afterwards as they can t perform them on my vehicle. I appreciated that even though he couldn t perform the work he didn t charge me. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.

Shelton is the man that makes this place great. Hope they pay him well before some place else sees his work ethic and offers him more. I had a difficult job and he went above and beyond to make sure it was done right. Only come here if you want satisfaction gaurranteed.

THeeeee Best! Shelton is absolutely kind, honest, friendly and did I mention-Honest! This small establishment deserves all of our business in Hampton Roads! Let's help him make it Big! I left work today... Click clack sound. I'm familiar. I assumed nail. I pulled over and saw nail. Correct. Shelton said it would $30 to plug/patch. Then he checked it. He said ".. It's not what you thought you heard.." what he said was that the sound I heard from the nail was accurate, however, it hadn't penetrated the tire. So, he said it'd be $5. I thought-I'm not only giving this man $5 after spending his time.... I asked what it'd be for my another tire that is bald. $50. So quick. So kind. So honest. If I was rich, I'd have paid a month's rent for him. My family concurs. Thank you, Shelton!!!

The two guys working were very friendly and helpful. I had a lot going on and they took the time to break things down for me. Definitely made me feel comfortable about visiting a mechanic

Great place! I needed a tire rotation and wanted to check my tires to make sure they were ok. I have a long drive coming up and I want to make sure it s a safe drive. They were super nice and very helpful! Very glad I came here and I definitely recommend this place!

I went here on 4/29/22 to get an alignment and my suv came out worst than what my vehicle was when I arrived. To top it off I called and told them how my suv was and they told me that the person that works on alignment left and that they would talk to the owner and call me back the next day. They never called so I called. For what? For them to tell me the same thing. Of course no call back again. I got tired of waiting so I had to. Pay another company to do my alignment and it came out so much better. Henry's never called me back, never put an effort in to fix this and won't give me my money back. Next is I'm reporting them to BBB no one should be treated like this. Everyone has money problems right now

Went here to get my tire fixed originally, but got additional services and I can honestly say I am a satisfied customer ! The Customer service was great, and very affordable prices..thank you again!

Super good customer service , sometimes we all know cars don t come out perfect they will do there best for above and beyond work ato get the job right and with that I can appreciate henry tires

If I could give this company zero stars then I would. I will never recommend nobody come to Henry s Tires on Jefferson Ave to get some work down to an car! The white guy that did work on my car butch the work and tried to put it off on another part that was fine! I even have documents showing it wasn t my rack and pinion he just didn t know what he was doing. I brought while over 3 different outer tie rods and paid over $200 dollars for services that he messed up on! I will be taking my car back to where I got his problem fixed but never coming back here

Great service. Fast and friendly. Great price. I know where to go when in need again. Side note: as tire was bring replaced he said I was missing a lug. I'm sure they were all there. Even ccx still if I was missing one the gentleman replaced it.

Went in for a front end alignment. Gentlemen was very helpful. Job was completed in a timely manner and it was affordable. He even recommended something else I could do to help car performance .

This is a absolutely great place to get tire work done. After going to pep boys ntb walmart and a couple other suppose to be great places, i went to Henrys tire on jefferson across from neighborhood walmart and Mike the store manager took great care of me. He did in a few minutes what all these other places could not. And i was in and out. Over all evtrordinary experiencia. Thanks Mike!!!

The young man really did a great job fixed a rim that Nissan said wasn't fixable and transferred air pressure sensor without breaking it like mechanics at Nissan claimed would happen. Great job young man

Went to get a plug in my back tire, which needed replaced. But Sam was wonderful, I was in and out within 25 minutes. Great service!

I just called to ask about a used tire 225 35 20 . I asked the guy who answered the phone and right off the bat he said no . Without even going to check or anything. If you don't want to deal with customers, change jobs.

This is my second experience with Henry Tires in Newport News. The mechanic Renae has been great. Yes I would recommend this place.
