I had a great experience I took my car in to have some repairs done. And I am so pleased with the service I received. Stephanie is awesome. Her whole team is awesome and I want to especially thank varin he got me all set up with my Bluetooth. I feel like he went beyond his job and I so appreciate him they were so so friendly. I recommend you go there if you need any repairs done to your vehicle they will definitely get you straight, and they got me in and out in a timely manner, I am so pleased with my service. Had a great experience at Goode's. I bought this 2013 Chevy Sonic in great condition. Jesse worked with me on pricing and gave me a great deal, no hassle or lengthy haggling. Even when the car had a thermostat issue 4 days after I bought it Goode's replaced the whole thermostat no issue or pushback of any kind. They also told me to come back if the car needed anything else.I've never given a car dealer 5 stars before, since there's almost always something they put you in a bad spot with, but Goode's earned it. Fair business run by honest people.

Took my brother in law here to purchase a car, and the owner did everything he said he would do. ALSO THEY HAVE ONE OF THE LOWEST DEALER FEES AROUND 50.00 HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are in the market for a use car.

I was referred to goodes by my mobile mechanic about a year ago and I have had some issues with my car and I can honestly say they worked with me and got my car straight.. Stephanie deals with a lot running the inside but she knows her stuff. The mechanics do a good job. I believe it is family owned which is one reason I like coming here plus the prices are reasonable. They also try to get u in and out as quick as possible if they can sometimes it may take a day or two depending on the issue with the car and getting parts .. if you work with them they definitely work with you. I stay with them cuz they are familiar with my car and I don t like alot of people working on it. I definitely recommend coming here. Thank you Goodes for keeping my car running .

My intentions are to contact Virginia State Police.I purchased a 2009 Toyota Venza with 121,000 miles. Prior to purchasing the car, I took it for a test drive. While driving the car, it pulled to the right as if it needed an alignment. Also there was noise that came from the rear. After returning the car, I told Jessy what I heard along with the car pulling to the. Jessy told me that everything would be taken of. The car also came with a 3 month warranty for the engine and transmission that he was reluctant to discuss with me inside of the office, so we stepped outside. I recorded the entire conversation with my cellphone. I m a retired police officer. I know that it s not proper to record others conversation without them knowing it, but I needed something to stand on. Jessy told me that him and the mechanic took a ride in the car and they didn t hear anything. The mechanic and I took a ride in the car with the mechanic driving. The noise in the rear wheel was not completely gone. The mechanic told me that the car hadn t been driven in while and that was the reason. Jessy told me that all of the fluids had been changed and there were no problems, If I had any problems to bring the car back. Afterwards, I took possession of the car. There was an issue with the brakes which was not a part of the warranty. I took it to a place other than Goode s automotive to see if they were truthful about the car. They were not.There was so much rust on all four wheels, that the rotors and pads were rusted beyond the point where the rotors were damaged and could not be turned or machined. The piece on the pads that warns you by squealing was not present and had removed from that the pads. I had the brakes repaired. There were no more sounds coming from the rest end. I sent Jessy a text message asking him to call me but he didn t.Two days later, it was somewhat of a cold morning. I started the car and it made a rattling noise. The noise lasted about 4 seconds after the engine warmed up. I did my own research. There is an issue with Toyota Vensa s timing chain tensioner which is part of the engine, however Toyota has not spoken of this yet, but they will. The problem is discussed on YouTube.I sent Jessy another message, but again, he had not responded to it. I went down to Goode s automotive to talk with Jessy, but he wasn t there. There were two white ladies, one with a baby, a black man that I assumed worked there and another white male. When I told the lady about the problem with the timing chain rattling with a video to prove it. She tried to tell me that the car was sold as is. I told her this was not what Jessy and I discussed. He told that there was a 3 month warranty on the engine and transmission. I told him that I had proof that there was no signature on the paperwork that I received from Jessy saying that the car was sold as is. Three of the people said there is no warranty. They went to look for the paperwork from the sale of the car but couldn t locate it. The white lady behind the desk had the nerve to say to me that if the rattling was from the timing chain, the timing chain was not part of the internal part of the engine and would not fall under the warranty. I told them that I recorded a mechanic who looked visually and had heard this. The mechanic did not touch the car. The white guy tried to say that since I had someone else to look at it or attempted to fix it, there was nothing they could do, but then asked me when could I drop the car and leave it at the shop so that the engine can be cold enough to hear the rattling of the timing belt. I will not take the car back to them. Since the car had a #10/23 inspection sticker on it and the brakes were deteriorated to the point that they could not be repaired, someone illegally passed the inspection and falsely said the brakes were good. My intention is to contact Virginia State Police and make them aware of the illegal practice of Goode s automotive falsely saying that the car was inspected with good brakes when they were not. This place cannot be trusted.

Excellent customer service! Jamie and Stephine are awesome, was in a bind putting on a new trailer hitch with some problems, they took it back and got it done super quick with an awesome price. Will definitely recommend them, and take all my cars back here in the future, purely off of the customer service I received! There are too many auto shops that don t value the customer anymore, THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! Excellent team, awesome job.

Did hours of research before shopping so I knew the exact make, model, year, and potential issues of the car I wanted for my son. Goode's had one purchased at auction. It needed a few minor fixes which Jessy, the salesman, facilitated. Easy transaction for a great car at a fair price. Will recommend to my friends who are looking for a used car too.

Update: We will be bringing the vehicle back in and they will be fixing it! Stephanie was super proactive with this! Highly recommend them!I brought my vehicle to them for a full engine swap. The new parts were in the back of the vehicle. We informed Stephanie of this. She wrote this all down on the tag for the keys. Two days after getting vehicle back I realized none of those new parts were placed on the vehicle and was actually charged for some of the items. I will update my review upon the outcome of Monday when I go in there. The new parts were oil filter, spark plugs, water pump, filters, and thermostat. This is unsat!

We've bought more than our fair share of cars, new and used, and I have to say Goode's Automotive is the BEST! We are in awe of the superb customer service, the selection of great vehicles to choose from, the affordable prices, the ease in purchasing, and the friendliness of the entire staff at Goode's! Jesse could not have been more attentive, accommodating, or friendly when we purchased our 2008 Envoy Denali from there. He answered every question, tended to every detail, and he did it all promptly and professionally. We highly recommend their services whether you are looking for a vehicle to purchase or to have repairs done. They are all so professional, friendly, and ready to accommodate your needs. I took my truck in to get it fixed cause my engine light came on they claimed to have replaced some parts charged me over $1000 and my truck still has the same problem they suggested take it to a dealership so I spent all that money on parts that didn't fix my problem I could have done trouble shooting in my driveway myself for alot cheaper thanks for nothing

Their service was absolutely top notch and second to none!! I have been to several car repair shops and I have never received such red glove impeccable ce as I have today! They diagnosed and fixed exactly what was wrong with my SUV. Fast and efficiently. Highly recommended. They have a customer for life!

Good place to buy a used car. One of the sales Rep was very friendly and honest. His name was Jessy. He actually was telling me which were the better cars to buy and which ones needed a lil more work. I value that cause most car dealers would tell you anything just to get a sale.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY HERE!!! bought a car for around $8,000, they told me everything was ship shape and even passed inspection. I took it to meineke, they told me that it needs everything repaired essentially totalling me at $6,000 for just that! They are scammers and only fix the cars up to get you to buy it while it most likely has awful underlying problems.

The way in which I came to meet Charlie wasn't the best circumstances for me at the time. Charlie is very professional and courteous and I was fortunate enough to have stumbled upon him. He's very honest and takes the time to listen to your thoughts and opinions about your vehicle. Charlie keep up the great work you're a wonderful person and mechanic thanks for all that you do.

I showed up today to test drive a vehicle.The vehicle battery was dead.The guy paid $10 for me to go to gas stationHe was emphatic that I bring a receipt backI happened to have my mechanic with me, who is a very well qualified technician. Immediately off the bat this truck had a huge misfire. It shook the whole truck and even made my mechanic very nervous riding down the road. I also put my code reader on it and saw the real time data for Fuel trim which indicates o2 issues or catalytic converter problems. After only making it 5 miles the truck became worse.After coming back and letting them know the situation they said they had no idea. So we said if you fix the problem I ll come back and drive it more. They said they only fix problems with there vehicles once they know you have committed to buying an as is vehicle.Also a side note a furniture delivery company was delivering furniture. An employee from goodes was guiding the truck backing it up and actually backed the truck up into a bumper of one of the cars there selling. After the delivery driver backed into the car, the employee said just go on it s ok. So right off the bat it showed me they don t care.I own a company, and have a fleet of large trucks. I highly recommend you stay away from this company. It is very shady business and I m pretty sure if you did research you will see whoever inspects there vehicles has been in trouble with Virginia State Police for just putting stickers on vehicles.FYI if your looking at the old verizon Chevrolet truck. A sticker was just slapped on it. It has a huge misfire. Catalytic converters is stopped up or bad. Be very careful of this vehicle

Do not trust this place! I have been taking my car here for a while and i discovered that they have no integrity. The mechanic told me i don t want to discredit anyone s work but whoever put this new alternator on for you put a while in the radiator trying to get to it i told him that Goodes put it in about a month ago. The owner Jamie told me that he took a loss paying for me a new radiator. Wow, they are not doing me a favor, their mechanic put a hole in my radiator and didn t tell me. My car is 6 years old and was running hot! Never again will I go to them

This place went out of their way to fix my problems. They are very attentive and keep you informed. My car is a mess and they are doing a great job getting it in working condition. I highly recommend this place. Charlie is very quick to greet you and take the time to understand and solve any problems. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Thanks for everything that y'all do!!!

Awesome this is my second time coming back to them to get another vehicle and they really treat me like family every time I come and they really work with you and they work hard to make sure you drive of lot very satisfied thank you goodies God bless you and everyone of your staff

They get no stars for me. Dropped my car off one morning, told him what the issues were and and what other mechanics said was the problem. He said he would get to it after lunch... Nope had it all day and did nothing, so I left it there. The next day around lunch he says I need an O2 sensor $700 and that was it. They didn t finish fixing it until 6 pm when they close. He gave me no explanation on what he did and why but put a lot on the receipt that I didn t authorize him to do. $717 dollars and soon as I turn on the car nothing sounded different, but thought maybe it drives better. I got down the street and turn one corner and the car was doing the same thing. Took it back the next morning, he claims the problem is not happening as much as it was. A RIP OFF!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! PS he put his receptionist up to call and she is clueless. OMG

AC quit working and was told by another shop that I needed a new compressor. Decided to drop off at Goodes on Warwick Blvd on July 3rd to see if they concurred. They had looked at it and determined it was indeed the compressor and said that would have it done the same day so I would have my car for July 4th. Oh, and at half the price. Unfortunately, there was something else going on. It worked much better, but not what would have been expected. Took it back Thursday right before closing. Charlie was determined to figure it out. Friday, he found the issue and corrected it at no additional charge. He felt so bad it wasn't fixed right the first time, he delivered the car to my door. Even though it really wasn't his fault to begin with. That wasn't necessary, but I appreciated the show of appreciation. Now my AC is frigid cold...almost too cold. It was very clear that Goodes nor Charlie take their customers for granted. Customer service like none I've seen before. They have earned a customer for life. Thanks Charlie.

Very upset took my truck to get a part on my transmission. Instead of them calling to say I need a transmission they installed the part. My truck still don't reverse. That's not the worst of it, my locks worked & doors before I took my truck, now neither one works. Window dont come down and door doesn't lock. They lie and tried to blame the tow company. Rear view mirror broken. I have more damaged then was fixed. None of my gages show the correct things like my gas etc. All this worked before I took my truck. Then was told if I wanted the part off to get a refund for this $346.56 part they would take it off. Well that story change when I called back. The great thing is I took before and after pictures of my truck. Just for proof of everything I have always done that when dropping off my trucks or cars. DON'T take you cars to these people. They are big liars!

We bought a SUV here 2 months ago now. Jesse the sales man did his job well so no complaints there. But we have taken the SUV back 3 times now for the A.C.. And the RPMs needle keeps jumping when in idle and to clean the headlights, something they promised to do prior to purchase. So first time around they fill frion and it works for a week and then hot air again. 2nd time around it was the actuator. Which they fixed no charge. Headlight cleaning took almost a whole day and I ended up urbering home and back at my expense. With the RPM they told me they had to reset the computer to adjust them. Which has nothing to do with the engine but ok. It ran good for a week or so then needle is jumping again and car is really hot and not accelerating right. So my husband being handy check the car over and find there is NO OIL AND NO TRANSMISSION FLUID...the SUV is running dry...I would assume any mechanic would have noticed that and figured out that is why the needle is jumping..and then my husband is trying to figure out why no indicators popped up as it is a smart car and tells you when to change the oil. Come to find out the fuse was removed...Nice...and while this is going on all I can think about is how they gave us a 50/50 warranty on engine and transmission for 3 months at time if purchase. They were really trying to make money on this car by having me blow the engine and have to pay them to fix it 50% on top of the money they got for the sale....Wow couldn't believe it. Luckily we caught it but the next person might not. BEWARE!!

Most honest and fair family owned businesses I have ever experienced. Have purchased two cars from them and have all of my mechanical work done by the goods. Will never go to another mechanic or deaslership. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

So glad i took an acquaintances advice to come to Goodes.!!My first time here,and felt like family.It was a rainy Saturday,first come first serve basis.Stephanie was extremely knowledgeable,down to earth,made me feel at ease on this first trip.Even got my lunch ordered by one of the mechanics!It was a long morning,but everything was explained,drove my Mini Clubman home,it ran better than its ever done.!!I will be back.....THANKS GUYS Ms.C

Goodes is the ONLY place I go to, to get pur trucks worked on. They are honest and sometimes they won't charge for little stuff. Which I don't like but they insist. I would HIGHLY recommend Goodes for anyone of my family and friends
