Traveling on the road my car started making some questionable noises. I stopped by Go Green Auto Care and was met by Tyrone the owner. I immediately knew I was in good hands. He was kind, friendly, and informative. He got us back up and running quickly so I could get back on the road with my family. I can t recommend Go Green enough.

I was referred to Go Green by members of the Hilton neighborhood Facebook page. I took my 2013 Hyundai Veloster there for two jobs. Eventually both had to be re-,done at another garage. Yesterday the car broke down on Rt. 17 and was towed to American Pride Auto. I knew it was the clutch, even though Go Green installed a new clutch just 3 months ago. American Pride confirms another new clutch is needed @2400. I'm sorry to bad-mouth a local business, but Go Green has lost my trust.

I actually love this place. I was referred to him by a friend and ended up taking into nieces car. It couldn't be fixed simply because she didn't have the money but he was so willing to help amd tell her what was wrong and ways to fix it. Ty is a good guy. I sent my boyfriend to him for his truck and he fixed it right up!He also used rain water for his company which is so cool and truly stays consistent with his name of "go green"

I've been taking my vehicles to Go Green Auto Care for years. Service has always been fast and affordable. Once I took my car to the dealer for a "free oil change" after which they recommended a very expensive repair. I then took my car to Go Green for a second opinion. It saved me hundreds of dollars for an unneeded repair - been going there ever since.

Right when I arrived I was immediately greeted and helped. My service engine soon light was on and I didn't know why. The mechanic looked at my car for about 5-10 minutes, told me the issue, and sent me on my way. He didn't even charge me anything! WONDERFUL costumer service! Definitely will be returning for all my future auto-care needs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had no idea what the problem was. After a diagnostic check, the needed service was provided with a smile. Service was quick, thorough, and professional! You don t always feel like you can trust mechanics, but Go Green was recommended by a trusted friend and they didn t disappoint. This man is one of THE most honest mechanics out there. His schedules are always busy because he ALWAYS does jobs efficiently and honestly. Prices are fair. He has been helping me with my 69 impala and has love for the cars he works on. Good man. Always support your local business folks.

Excellent service, fair pricing and an honest mechanic are hard to find, and that's why we love go Green! We love that it's so close to the Hilton neighborhood and I've had a few repairs done on our cars with excellent results.

I like the staff at Go Green Auto Care because of the good experience I had with them in November of 2012. I have a 2001 Lexus ES300 that I bought used. It needed a climate control unit, which the Toyota dealership said would cost close to $1,000 new. Go Green ordered the used part for me from 1 of their sources and installed it for about $355 (parts/labor). I was so pleased with the savings and the results. I recommend them highly.

Go Green does a great job with my car. I'm a repeat customer, have been going for a couple of years, since I moved to Newport News. When I ask to have my car checked out, they always take time to give a full assessment, and tell me when I'll be needing certain maintenance and repairs. Unlike other mechanics, they don't just do the repairs and demand that I pay, or insist that the repairs must be done now. Tyrone and Leslie are great!

I'm taking my car there today to have a B service done my wife's friend recommended them. I heard some great things I believe they are ture. Looking forward to Go Green to take good care of my baby. LolTyrone took good care of my Benzs I was surprised at how professional ,and approachable he was just a down to earth guy. Go Green will be the only shop that work on my car. If you are like me, and find it's easier to hit the lottery than it is to find a honest mechanic. Give Go Green a chance you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys for the great work she is running good.

Absolutely the most honest mechanic I've dealt with in over 50 years of car ownership. He has taken care of both my wife's and daughter's cars for over 6 years. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I initially came to Go Green after RK Toyota ( now Priority Toyota) diagnosed my wife's 2007 4Runner as having a blown head gasket and the cost to fix it at $3100.00. A day later at a cost of around $220.00 Mr. Jarvis ( Tyrone) said all it needed was a new radiator. That was a year ago and the 4 Runner is still running strong. Very thankful for his honesty.Have since had other work done on my Tundra. Very pleased!!

Excellent service and trustworthy staff. It is so hard to find a local community shop that has the best interests of its customers in mind. This is one of those shops. They really know their stuff and the multitude of vehicles they work on is proof. From imports to domestic and even luxury vehicles you are in good hands.

Very knowledgable with a variety of different vehicles. Fast, friendly, and honest service. I have taken my cars here for years and always had quality repairs. Great prices and amazing service. I drive all the way from chesapeake to bring my cars here because I know they are in good hands.

I do not recommend this shop to anyone. I took my car to Go Green Auto Care, and Tyrone told me that a, b, and c was wrong with my car. I gave him the go a head to start fixing my car. Tyrone called me back two days later to come pick my car up, and ensured me that my car was running just as brand new. When I started driving (not even half way down the street) my car started acting up with the same problem that I had originally brought it in for. I turned right back around. Tyrone asked me to leave the car, and pick it up in the morning; it probably just need Blank done with it. Next morning I get the car, half way down the street; and what do you think happened? Yes, the car started having the same problem. $80 per hour and $1,000 out of money all together, and I still have the same problem with my car. I would not even get a bike repair here. Sorry to say, but Tyrone does not know what he is doing point blank period. If you have a Toyota or Lexus just go to the dealer and stay away!

I normally never do reviews good or bad but this is rediculous. Less than 6 months ago I had taken my car there because it wouldnt start, they said all it needed was a battery charge and a new battery and told me i was good to go. 10 seconds down the road my car shuts off and I had to get it towed back there AGAIN. Now they said it was a fuel pump and after a couple days a brand new pump and module installed and i was good to go, or so i thought... Car recently had trouble starting so i took it to a different shop and they diagnosed a bad fuel pump, called go green and they said theyl do a replacement free of charge. After paying the shop and the tow back to go green i had waited 6 days after waiting for the replacement pump to come in, i go to get my car and it wouldnt start and now has a check engine light. Tyrone started messing with the obd reader and got rid of the light temporarily for it to come back 20 mins later. Then he mentions not the whole module but only the pump was replaced because of how uncommon a complete fuel pump for a 2001 mercury cougar is and says the rough start is because of the low gas which obviously wasnt it and started getting an attitude when i started questioning his work. Also the mechanic i brought my car to showed me that the original pump was accessed from a hole cut (shortcut) through the bottom of the trunk/back seat area which is not how the replacement should be done. Clearly has no idea what hes doing or maybe its just bad business. Only thing i got from GO GREEN was a waste of time and money and to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.Update 2 days later: The pump He installed went out and Tyrone basically told me i was SOL because no companies do refunds on electrical parts and would have to pay for everything to be done again in full. Absolutely rediculous business

I have an Audi A4 .... my car was towed in from Hampton Audi where they wanted to hold the car for weeks....Go Green took my car in immediately ...repairs were made and very professional attitude and customer service...my Audi has found a home for all repairs and service...Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I own a lexus and usually i get the dealer to service my car, but a co-worker suggested i go to go green auto. Now my car runs and feels like it did when it was brand new! I will be back for all of my future services. Thank you
