Do Not Trust This Location! We came in after experiencing some transmission issues. A red warning message also popped on the dash, telling us to get the car checked asap. We get a call the next day telling us that there are no problems, erasing the message from the system, and we had to pay a sizable fee. Mind you, this vehicle was still under warranty, but they would not help any further, and we HAD TO PAY.Of course, the message and issues happened again, and of course, we went to a different location where they found the transmission was slipping and HAD TO BE REPLACED. We will never recommend anyone to this location for any reason.Horrible customer service and horrible troubleshooting. Thanks for the stress.

Hands down best dealer experience I've ever had. Kristi and John are a phenomenal sales team. I was offered fair trade-in value for my Jeep and they got me into the RAM 1500 that I wanted. This dealer doesn't low ball their customers and they are the most transparent that I've had the pleasure doing business with. If you're not buying your vehicle here, you're wrong. 10/10!

I showed up early for my appointment as requested in the email I received. My appointment was for an oil change and tire rotation. 3 hours later, my truck was finished. What's the point of making an appointment if you're not going to even touch the truck until 2 hours later. They need to learn to schedule appointments correctly. Don't schedule them all for the first few hours of the day, and then make people sit around all day.

Morning all. My son vehicle was thee for over a month due to the strike on the part that he needed to fix the jeep, so yesterday 11/06/2023 early afternoon when picking up the vehicle the lady Ms laura said come back in 1 hour because her guys don't speak any english to have the jeep detail, ok fine so when we get back after inspecting the vehicle my son went in to pay but was a little short so I help him out he transfer fund from the saving to checking boom all done but getting outside the was more damage that was done by Checkered Flag long scratch from from passenger side to passenger side rear omg smfh seriously wow, Ms laura wanted to have the Jeep buffed out I said no, 1st you Blakely LIED to my face about detailing the jeep was dirty all she did was cleaned the windows and the inside was just as dirty, then Ms Laura hand her team LIED about the guys not speaking #ENGLISH that was rude do to the fact my son is DEAF and Puerto Rican (WOW) then agete speaking to 1 on the non speaking english worker they said she never to them to clean the Jeep they would have done it if asked. Ms Laura all you do is LIE to save face and yours is full of the devil and Bullcrap. We will be contacting the Insurance about this matter. Her LIES AFTER LIES just don't fit her job status, and at this point we are done , no buffing can fix the damage to his Jeep although he was grateful in getting it backMrs Jacqualine Strylowski

The team at POMOCO are just wonderful to work with. I get my Wrangler serviced here even though I purchased it elsewhere...and today purchased a new Compass from them. My wife was indecisive about the Renegade and the Compass...but the team never got frustrated with us, and were doing everything they could to help her make the best decision. After leaving we felt very comfortable and confident we made the best decision...as well as got the best possible price for the Compass. I would definitely recommend going here and talking to the team if you're interested in a new car. They are helpful and in no way pushy at all throughout the process.

I took my vehicle here to get my front bumper repaired from a very minor accident. The bumper had to be painted twice because they couldn't match the factory color. Also, there was dust all inside the vehicle and door panel when I went to pick it up. I found some spots on the driver side quarter panel that they got glue on and didn't bother to clean it up. Not sure why they would even need to use glue until a couple of weeks later when the front parking sensors in the bumpers came out. I took my vehicle back to get it repaired and the same thing happened again. Their technician broke the clips on the parking sensor and tried to repair it with glue. I barely touched the sensor and it popped out. I told them not to touch my vehicle anymore and took it to Pearson Toyota. I had them look at the bumper and tell me what was wrong with it and what it took to fix it. The Toyota tech sent me pictures of the broken parking sensor. The clip was broken on one side and it had glue all over it. The sensor costs $200 not including installation. I took my vehicle back to the body shop along with the service ticket from Toyota. The manager wanted my insurance company to fork out more money to replace the sensor that they broke. She, the manager, would not admit fault that their techs broke the sensor even though nobody else touched the bumper. She even tried to blame me at one point. Long story short (not really), I will have to eat the cost of replacing the parking sensor or file another claim with my insurance company because I can't really prove that they broke the sensor and they won't admit it. I will never ever be going back to any Pomoco location. They are nice to you until they get your money.

So far not so good. Brought my vehicle in 4 times now and still don't have a working jeep. If the place would communicate with me more, I'd be more patient, but I have to beg for information to hear anything. I let them talk me in to a repair that cost approx 1000 dollars that I knew was not the cause of the issue, but I let them convince me that it was. I'm not a mechanic, so I chose to trust the pro...I paid the repair and when they brought my car out front for me to take home, the issue happened again. They told me they would refund the money back to my card and keep looking at it. The money was never refunded. They kept the car another week and called me back. I have had the jeep an hour and guess what...same issue. All that said, I'm wondering how hard they are going to fight when I ask for my money back since my car is still doing the same thing. If they refund me and fix my car at some point, I'll change my review, but only the future will tell....stay tuned for more!

I had to take my truck in for a repair so I went to another dealer. I'm sorry I did. But I finally got to checkered flag!!! They had the most wonderful staff!! They listen to the client and try to get to the root of your visit. My truck is fixed and I couldn't be happier!! WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WITH CHECKERED FLAG ON JEFFERSON AVE!!!

I visit mainly to pick up a specific hard to find oil for my vehicle. They always have it in stock and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly!Update: 26May23Jeep had an oil leak so I took it on to be looked at. I worked with service representative Jermaine and he was on point! He always kept me informed with what was going on with my car and even remembered me from my last visit. Great job all around!

My 2017 Fiat 500 had a flat, so I decided to use the roadside assistance that came with the vehicle. Well, the Pomoco delaership was the closest one to my location (59 miles away) and was the only way to qualify for services without incurring any cost. Okay, I can look past that, and sucked up the hour-long tow truck ride to have it fixed.Upon arriving at the dealership, I got out of the tow truck and went inside the Fiat showroom. It was absolutely empty. I then called the service department number, and they directed me and the tow truck driver as to where to go.We pulled around to the service center, and I got out to speak with someone about the repair. Mind you, I had already called ahead to make sure that it could be done in a prompt manner, as I am now another hour further away from my destination due to ending up in Newport News. I had just finished with a job, so I am wearing a gray Carhartt shirt with reflective banding on it. As I approached the service center doors, an employee started walking toward me. I guess he assumed I was with the tow truck company and proceeded to bark out "you can't put that car there, i've got customers coming in and out of here all day. That has to be moved, that is for customers only." I pointed out to him that I WAS the customer, and if he wants it moved, he can go talk to the tow truck driver. His tone really didn't change much at all, and he went to bark at the tow truck driver. As the next hour went by, I proceeded to see this same white-haired, ornery, little shrew treat everyone else in the service department the same way he treated me. He is a piss-poor example of the Mopar brand, and a discredit to the entire Pomoco dealership. That's not how you do business. That's not how you treat people. That's not how you succeed.I give major props to everyone else involved in the tire fix process. The technician (I forget her name) came up with a quick fix, and I was done in no time. She is awesome !But the little shrew needs to go.

Sierra Kahler was amazing at her job! She was the same person to immediately respond back to my inquiry at 7:30 a.m. before the dealership open. She quickly made an appointment and I was able to travel over 250 miles and was quite pleased to make the trip worth my while. She handled not only all the sales portion but also all of the vehicle finance and education of the vehicle. She worked with me until nearly 10:00 at night. She also made sure that I was extremely pleased. The pricing for the new Jeep was amazing and the jeep was in excellent condition. Also the trade-in value for my existing Car was fair and reasonable. I would recommend this hassle-free shopping to anyone interested in a Wrangler. Thank you Sierra for everything!

Worst experience ever, except for CICI the Service Advisor she was very pleasant. I took my Fiat here for a recall to be fixed on 8-2-22. They installed the new fuel pump module. That is where the problem started. Waited 6 hours for the repair got my car back and all I could smell was gas fumes in my car, I asked if this was normal, they said yes it would air out. On 8-7-22 I filled my tank up and I was ingulfed with gas fumes inside my car again, I knew this wasn't normal. I took my car back on 8-10-22 explained what happened and need the recall fixed again. I waited for 4 hours for them to tell me they needed to order a new fuel pump. Haven't heard back from them as of today 8-17-22. On 8-12-22 my check engine light came on that evening, So I took it to where I should have in the first place Southern Fiat for it to be fixed correctly. Turns out the seal was leaking gas fumes and bolts where too long to properly seal the lock ring. I had to rent a car on 8-13-22 to 8-16-22 in the amount of $183 due to Checkered Flag Fiat in Newport News Virginia not doing the job correctly in the first place. I should be reimbursed by the dealership for that unnecessary cost I incurred for their error. I expect and deserve a call from the Service Manager .

Checkered Flag has been outstanding in every way. Dusty is a stand-up man who we trust without reservation. We also truly appreciated Lafeyell's attention to detail and communication with us during our Jeep's service call.

Went here to get my car inspected with a free inspection coupon I got in the mail. It took some time for the inspection to be completed but the waiting room is nice and has places to set up a laptop and work privately. Unfortunately my car did not pass but I was pleased that Helena, my service adviser was knowledgeable and took the time to show me exactly what caused it not to pass. I made the repairs myself (extremely cheeper) and upon return to be reinspected Helena again was very helpful and made every effort to ensure I was on the road as soon as possible. Good employees working here!

I tell you what... These guys put the"S" in service. Rick came out when he saw me pull up- I didn't even have to go find him... When I had spoken to him on the phone he had been courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He quickly identified some things that needed to be addressed that I had overlooked when I discovered the damage. (Somebody must have hit my car while it was parked because the bumper was bent outward at the corner.) He took care of everything with my insurance, and was extremely helpful and accommodating of my schedule. In my experience it's pretty rare to find car guys who are also great at customer service. Checkered Flag is the exception to the rule.

Their service department is absolutely terrible. I actually caught them driving my truck around for non service related purposes and they denied it! The service advisor wont answer or return phone calls unless you say the magic "im returning his call" phrase then he is magically at the desk. They couldnt duplicate the issue in the transmission. I rode with the foreman, happened right away and he acknowleged there was a problem. After weeks of trying to figure it out, they did nothing to fix it and claimed its operating properly. They are horrible.

It was great! My salesperson Nina was very knowledgeable about the my new jeep. Cindy the finance manager helped me get a great rate and a extended warranty that fit my budget. I absolutely would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Thank you for making my buying experience so pleasurable.

I loved the fact that I was greeted as soon as I walked up. I wasn't hassled at all when I walked in. It was very pleasant and hassle-free. The staff was awesome in assisting me. They listened to what I was looking for and my price expectation. Although what I wanted was not in my price range they made it happen. Thank you Dustin along with your finance department. My husband and I are already planning to return to purchase his next vehicle. I would recommend that everyone go to see Dustin if you are looking to purchase a vehicle. The experience felt like I was among family!

Kevin Steele was a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt in responding to my emails throughout the whole car buying process. He was extremely knowledgable about the Jeep I was interested in and eventually bought. I would highly recommend Kevin and Pomoco to anyone that is in the market for a new vehicle. This is how every dealership should treat their customers. I cannot say enough about the entire staff at Pomoco they were all friendly and very helpful. Please don't change a thing. Once again thanks for a great car buying experience.

I bought a car from them and 6 months later an driving only 1,000 miles the transmission went out. It was a 2016 Ford Fusion bueatiful car but damn driving only 1,000 miles and have to have a new transmission well not new they wanted to put in a used one with 95,000 miles on it but I managed to get a better one with, 54,000 miles on it thanks to the great people at Auto Pros on George Washington Memorial Hwy. They said it was a clean certified car on carfax but Darin at Auto Pros said the transmission fluid was burnt and full of metal shavings. Be careful when buying a used car from this place

Absolutely the fastest I've ever been able to purchase a vehicle!! My only regret is that I wish i had gone there first rather than wasting 2 days at another dealership. Both Dustin (sales rep) and the finance manager were great!! Check them out you won't regret it. You will walk away with the vehicle you want (all factors considered) and not the vehicle that the dealership wants to push you into!! The customer service is outstanding and working with a team that values my time and money was more than enough to earn my respect, repeat business and referrals.

I moved into the area from NJ and called a week ago to schedule my first service for my 500x. The representative said to just stop by anytime and use express service. I stopped by today at noon and my overall experience was horrible. First, I waited what felt like 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Then someone asked if I was being helped finally and I said no but needed an express oil change. He called someone and asked for wait time which was 1.5 hours before the car could even be seen. From my experience, that means about 2 hours. So much for express. Then the service advisor gave me a silly analogy about going to seven eleven with no line and then all of a sudden, 12 people show up. Ridiculous and simply poor service for horrible express wait time. I will drive back to NJ to get an oil change rather than use this Newport News Fiat dealer. I hope you treat potential new customers better than I was treated today.

Jada was absolutely awesome sauce. No pressure to buy (even though I did) easy process, no hassles, no bull. Everything went super smooth. This is the 3rd vehicle I've gotten from Pomoco and every time it's been a great experience. So happy to have a new to me new truck ( which I've been wanting for a super long time)

Today we went in for an 11am scheduled oil change. I arrived at 1041am. It was finished at 3pm. I had to have someone substitute for me twice and reschedule 7 people and reschedule the open house. There is no excuse for not telling me they were hours behind for an oil change. I was able to make everything work, but lost 4 hours of labor time which is unrecoverable.Previous review one year agoThe factory installed a part wrong. It took awhile to get the replacement part which is understandable with covid. The only failure is we had to keep calling and we were forgot a lot. We did not get a call it was in. We found out by calling. We didn't get called that it was painted. We called and opps they forgot. We didn't get a call to schedule to switch the wrong part with the correct part, we called to see if we could schedule. The body shop did a fabulous job on the work. However, the followup was a pain. We are busy, so we have large gaps and plenty of time between check is. We were just forgotten over and over. The final project turned out great. !!

Customer Service has really gone down! I started going to Pomoco 3 years ago and the service was excellent. This was not the case on 28 May 2019, I made an appointment for 9 A.M. and asked if they had the parts needed and they assured me they did, I dropped my truck or to have the recalls serviced. They told me it should be ready around lunch time. I didn t hear anything so after lunch I went back hoping to pick up my truck with repairs complete at 2 P.M. This was not the case, not only had the repairs not been completed they hadn t even started on my vehicle. At that time I was told my appointment time was the drop off time. My truck sat there for 5 hours without anyone so much as looking at it. It turned out they didn t even have the parts to complete the needed recalled repairs that I specifically asked if they had. It Turned out to be a complete waste of my time!

I needed a vehicle and thought I wanted the Chevy Colorado, truck the year, etc. I discovered it was too big for my garage and there really wasn't of a discount on price. I looked at a few cars but they were difficult to get in and out of. Since we had such a great experience last year with Pomoco Jeep and Kevin Steele, I thought I'd give him a call. Kevin came in on his day off and had two vehicles for me to test drive to help me make my decision. Once I did, it was just a matter of finding the right vehicle and the right price. It only took a few days to find it and get it here and Kevin worked with my schedule to make sure I could pick it up when I had time. My new Jeep is exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with it. The best part is I don't think any dealer in the area could have given me a better price. Kevin and Pomoco remain 10's in my book.

I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately my experience with the service department was not the best . I bought my vehicle from pomoco 3/19 and have been back almost every week since then . My engine light came on the day i bought my car and it read Bank 2 sensor too rich , they replaced them and the same day i picked up my car the windsheild wipers were not working ! Apparently they did not put my car back together well so i went in the next day and i was told to come back another day . They fixed the problem quickly and soon after that my engine light came back on ! This time i had an intake leak and it took a week to figure out the problem ! They fixed it and then after picking up my car the same day the light came back on again !! It read Bank 2 sensor too rich and now i am being told that they had changed bank 1 sensor and only 1 sensor ! This makes no sense whatsoever . I made an appointment a week in advance so that they could fix it . The day i took my vehicle in at 10am , they quickly took it to the back and i was told they needed to get in touch with BMW to figure out what the problem was and this was 2 -3 hours after i brought it in ! Communication with the service department is HORRIBLE AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM . They did not have a since of urgency when it came to my vehicle . BMW OR NOT I am still a paying customer! Other than that , my sales person , Martel was phenomenal and so was Tony ! Only Plus side about the service department was after informing the lady at the first desk my concerns she jumped on it .

I truly enjoyed my car shopping experience at your dealership. Keith was a true gentleman that was easy to speak to. The rest of the staff were great, from Melissa to the guys in the parts department. Thank all for making my wife's gift purchase an easy one. I know I'll be back

This was the smoothest process ever! We bought a 2016 Fiat500X this past weekend. We were not pressured in any way but Joey Graham was there with us through the whole thing. He answered all of our questions and has been very responsive even after the transaction was complete! This dealership is VERY organized and we were in and out of there in a very acceptable time period. We will buy from this company again one day!!!
