The store has two out of three products. The associate (believe a supervisor or manager) located the third part and made a phone call to the store to confirm. A challenge with the form of payment was resolved out at the store. The patience, professionalism, friendly and the knowledge of the vehicle parts was great. The associate educated me on the difference of the part option. High integrity! Four stars, only because I believe in room for improvement, however this situation five stars. Dyllon at AutoZone 0988 at 14365 -R on Warwick Blvd. In Newport News, Va was extremely helpful today, April 4, 2024, to me. He was courteous in addition to his helpfulness in finding the correct left front turn signal bulb and then INSTALLING it for me. Thank you Dyllon! You have my gratitude and future business. He deserved a tip but refused to take one.

Went today for a battery check. The young man that helped me went above and beyond (helping me use Apple Pay for the 1st time) checked and installed my battery and did it with excellent professional customer service. All of this in 93 degree weather! Thanks!

after being sold a dead battery from another autozone, they replaced our battery with no issue and was informed that the other shouldn t have gave us the battery to begin with. everyone was extremely helpful and helped us swap the batteries. Emily and Jonathan were the most helpful!

I was in a big bind today with my car after leaving work today.I was not sure what was wrong if it was a battery or something more serious that would cost me an arm and leg. When I went in to this Auto Zone to the counter and I need some help this young man named THRUMAN got his tester and came out to my car to see how he could help.He is only 20 yrs. old , but was so respectful and patient.He educated me on some things I didn't know,being a female and not knowing a lick about cars.He got to the root of the problem and kudos go out to this young man.He said he has only been working there for a few months.He went up and beyond to make sure I left with a running car and no issues. I felt his Supervisor should know how this young man helped me.It felt great to leave with the issue resolved.We need more people like this young man in this world. Great customer service! Thank you again Thurman for all your Help!

I recently went to this AutoZone because my car was overheating. All of the service attendees were so extremely helpful and calmed me down and assured me that my situation would be handled. They were so patient and attentive and fixed the problem in no time. I am extremely pleased with the service I received and will continue to do business with this awesome establishment.

I'm located out of state and needed to get a car battery for my dad in Newport News, VA. I called this location on July 27, 2021 and spoke with a rep named Kaitlyn. She was wonderful. She was attentive and took the time to meet all of my needs. She went above and beyond to help my elderly father with getting the right battery and ensure that he received it. We appreciate her and so should you! She is an asset to Autozone company and this location. Definitely a keeper! Thank you again Kaitlyn! I will also send this in a letter format for Kaitlyn to your store directly as well as your corporate office. Please let her know how grateful we are for her.

Clean with good customer service. Not a lot of people inside . plastic up at the registers so that you divided between them . Employee asking customers if they need any help like most businesses stop doing , but they haven t and that's a good thing . Overall my experience was good

Life-savers. After a long day of work and having to jump-start my car twice, I went to them within a few minutes of closing and they helped find AND install a new car battery. They were very approachable, extremely helpful, and I never felt like an inconvenience. Superior customer service. Would rate more stars if I could.

Been to this location twice in the past month or so and the same guy that "helped" me both times is incredibly bad with customers. Unfortunately I forgot to look at his nametag. The first time I came, I ended up not making a purchase because his attitude was so bad. I only came back a second time because they had the best price and it's close to my house.

I went in for assistance with my car, I was unsure of the cable length I needed that goes to the O2 sensor. Don was excellent and extremely helpful. Since I didn't drive the car that needed the sensor, Don told me to bring the car in so he could help me figure out the correct length. When I come back 15 minutes later with the car Don is assisting another customer and I'm "lucky" to be assisted by the store manager Jake. When I tell him my problem about not knowing the cable length, he's rude, curt and unhelpful. He tells me he won't know the cable length either. When I tell him another employee advised me to bring my vehicle in so we could figure out, he questioned why they said it. He reluctantly went to my car after I confirmed his name and told him he could learn from other store employees about customer service. Eventually his demeanor changed, however it's unacceptable for someone who is managing a store to lack basic customer skills. I'm sure store managers are rated on how well their store performs. If my first encounter had been Jake, I would never come back.

I want to share my experience at this store which was less than desirable. I was there to exchange a battery...which they did exchange, but the experience was unpleasant. Mr. Don is a very rude person that shouldn't be doing customer service. His voice and overall attitude is bitter like you are annoying him. Mr. Vicent helps us at the end but the overall atmosphere isn't the one I have experienced at other stores. I will not coming back to here for sure.

This store has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. And for me to be an ex employee, my visit to this store was horrible. The grey shirts here need to go back to the basic training. Especially the male African American manager coming from another African American male u need to find another job your to scared. I worked at store 2024 Norfolk,VA send him there and see if he can handle it. "He's going to quit".

Excellent customer service! I was having trouble getting a light bulb out of the socket. Thanks to the man at the counter we were able to get the light bulb out and new led lights back in! Great auto store!

Good service. The staff could have a little more experience in what they do, but you shouldn't walk in the expecting something Whi knows it all. I shop here more than other places. Not bad at all.

We to get a code read on my car and because of the current virus situation I was explained that they could not test my car but I could be given instructions how to do it myself. The gentleman asked questions about my car then explained step by step how to do it myself. Mission accomplished thank you Autozone. Alice

I needed a new battery. Went inside, purchased one then had to stand around waiting 25 minutes for assistance to put the new battery in my truck. "Vincent" told me he could not install it, (he said he was afraid of breaking a bracket) which HIGHLY irritated me! That's part of his JOB.. After all, I was at a car part store! My truck would not start after waiting all that time. I asked Vincent if he could at least jump my truck. He said yes. He got in his own personal truck to jump mine, ( I had to wait AGAIN while he installed wipers on a car in the parking lot AND it was hot as HECK outside). I thought it was very odd he used his personal vehicle as I know they have jump boxes. Needless to say, after my truck started I left there, picked up my daughter then drove to the Auto Zone up past Oyster Point. My daughter went inside, while I stayed in my truck with it running. She explained what had just occurred at the Warwick /Denbigh Auto Zone. The young man at that store had absolutely NO problem coming right out and putting the new battery in my truck. He said there were no worries with the bracket, nothing was wrong with it, it was just fine. He said "Vincent" was just being Lazy! The young man told me I needed to call Corporate. I will NEVER go back to the Auto Zone in the Warwick /Denbigh Shopping Center again!

Thomas replaced my car battery. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, and provided great customer service! All despite the fact that it was 30�F outside. He's a good man.
