Although the guy who helped me was nice, he clearly had no idea what he was doing. I had him check my battery because I bought it from them (it's only 8 months old) and I've had to have it jumped twice. He told me it was the starter and I'm telling him no because if it was the starter then you couldn't jump start it. Long story short the battery just needed water!Not ALL women are idiots! My dad was a jet engine mechanic who overhauled cars and sold them as a hobby and I was "the son he never had"! I know my way around a car engine I'm just too old to crawl around on the ground!

Bought Wiper blades. They put them on for me. It's a good thing too because one was a manufactured defect and broke. The guy went in and got another one and put it on for me. I ALWAYS go here when I need something for my car.

Great experience, When I walked in the door you could just feel the positive energy. Good people that actually want to help. I just decidied to stop by to price everything I needed for my truck, instead of calling. I'm glad I came on in. Thank you Rock for your help. You was patient. Looked up every price for me. You helped me get all the parts I needed. You went above man. Appreciate it. I've been doing business with this store over a year. Staff always helpful and friendly. Thanks for the excellent service.

This store is no different than any other Auto parts facility, but what sets it apart was the staff. They were some of the most helpful people I have encountered.They were attentive to my questions and helped me resolve my problem.Awesome people.

I like O'Reilly's better but this place was on the way home so I stopped in. Clean atmosphere and large selection. Customer service could improve though as the employees weren't too helpful. Friendly, yes. Helpful, not so much.

I was going to buy a battery only to find out that I needed another repair after an assessment was done. I appreciate that even though no sale was made, that my best interests were considered. Brian wentout of his way to make sure I was able to be safe and back on the road. Thanks for the great service!

I have had to make numerous trips to Advance Auto this week because I've had to replace my A/C Compressor. Marie has helped with every visit and she has been a huge help. She is filled with a vast of information and she is super friendly. Great job. Great customer service Marie.

I don't have a problem with advanced auto ..but some of their product prices are outrageous. I purchased a long handled razor for $11.99 because I lost the one I bought from NAPA for $7.99.

I have a great experience in advance a few days ago with a member named Edin he was so helpful that was my first time seeing him and was also my very first time I had gotten really great customer service from any auto store thanks Edin for being a gentleman hope you see this!

This morning when I went to this location I received excellent customer service from MacKenzie and Shelly! They were extremely helpful and I would definitely recommend this location due to the experience I had with them.

Horrible customer service, ordered O2 sensor and some LED license plate bulbs online which they had in stock and went to pick up the parts (which I live 30mins away) and first thing was they picked out the wrong bulbs and tried to give me the cheap 2.99$ bulbs and acted like I was wrong so I showed them the order on the phone. First problem solved, second problem was I got home and opened the o2 sensor box and the item had been opened and previously installed so I call up there and was immediately put on hold for 15mins and then they answered and said bring it up there and they will return the item with a attitude, so I get to the advance and first they tell me its supposed to be like that which is wrong, and they returned the part as defective. And said I have to drive to Yorktown to pick up another one if I wanted it today, which I was fine with but they would have to order it at the Newport News advance so that the Yorktown advance would know I was coming there which I didn t understand so I paid for the part AGAIN and they charged me for the led bulbs twice, so I said screw it and I dealt with the Yorktown advance and explained to them the problems I was having and they returned my money from leds and got the right o2 sensor that was sealed, all that mess for a o2 sensor and led bulbs, I will never shop at advance again. Just make sure you check your parts and make sure they aren t trying to get over on you!

The staff is friendly and helpful and found the bulb I needed without me having to wander around looking for what I need. I love their military discount and I always go here when I need parts.

I don't buy auto parts often enough to compare stores to each other but as a store they're OK. Sometimes they're busy and you have to wait but not too long. So far they've always had the part I needed.

Helpful counter person, but tried to tell me there was no difference between two bulbs since they both fit in my car. Didn't know that one was twice as bright as the other.

Went back to hand in the core of a part and although I should have kept the receipt which i normally do, it wasn't in the system that I bought the part. I was warned before not to trust Advance Auto by an ex manager of one, go figure right? I should have listened to her. Lesson learned.
