These guys are honest, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and courteous. I had fairly major work done on my custom 76 Jeep CJ7 and I could not be happier with the quality of work. By far the best auto repair shop I ve ever worked with. Thanks, Ed. Thanks, Chris. Highly recommended.

I showed up for an inspection a few minutes before they opened. The mechanic was able to see me immediately and I only waited for about a half hour. I had a bulb replaced, and the inspection itself was less than $28. I m so pleased with the service and I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is what one of my motor mounts looked like. I'm so happy with getting my car back and Ed went beyond and helped me get it back. My transmission let go in December of 2022 and gave me a great deal and fixed other things. Thanks Ed and Crew for everything.

I have been going to this shop for nearly 20 years because as a single female it's difficult finding mechanics that not only have integrity but also take the time to educate you on repairs/services you may need. Ed and Chris provide outstanding customer service. Ed looks out for his customers and never waste your money on upcharges other shops always seem to have a long list print out of "recommend" services. He's a no nonsense old school mechanic that cares about providing quality service and honesty. In 20 years I've been bringing multiple vehicles for repairs/services, I always drive away confident knowing Ed has me safely on the road again in my travels. I need that assurance considering Im regularly commuting between states. Peace of mind is worth its weight in gold. Had an appt for Fri 8am for inspection. Had to make arrangements to pick up son's car ahead of time and drive 30 minutes out of my way. Only to get to A & E and find the shop closed with a sign on the door "closed till Mon" No phone call ahead of time to let me know so I could make other arrangements with another shop.

These guys are awesome!!! I have brought my vehicle to them a few times and they had always done a great job. They have always been open and honest about what needs to be done and what they feel comfortable doing in order to not waste money. They saved me a lot of money by not attempting to make something happen that they knew wouldn't be a lasting repair. I'll take my cars there from here on out.

By far the best auto repair shop I ve ever worked with. They have helped me and other family members with numerous issues both large and small. In all cases they ve been respectful, honest, quick, and very fairly priced. All the reviews that you think might be too good to be true are definitely legit based on my experience. Everyone there has the approach and attitude that help you know you ve been taken care of properly.

Everything that s good about people exists here. My experience at A&E was surprisingly good, with an outstanding customer service attitude that I haven t seen in the 25+ years in the area (for automotive shops) I ve been to. In addition to the positive reviews for the work they do at A&E, I was willing to give them a try. I arrived to a line of people in the lobby, but decided to wait - watching the people quickly peel away from the lounge, I found myself alone and my vehicle in the shop, getting the service I needed done in a short time. The staff here not only can do the good work they do, but also have that down to earth, helpful and sincere attitude with their customers.

These guys are awesome....!!! High quality work with a fast turnaround. They work on a wide variety of cars and have excellent experience and diagnostic capability. I have brought all the cars in from my extended family and they have done a great job every time. I highly recommend them...!

This place is an excellent resource for automotive maintenance and repair. The staff is very friendly and always honest and they charge a fair price for exemplary work. Ed at A&E and the gang Chris and Robbie are amazing and attentive at what the customers concerns are with our vehicles. I ve had multiple vehicles fixed here from complete engine swaps, trans swaps and a complete lowered suspension for my Chevy along with your regular maintenance service. Awesome awesome people. They were maxed out for work on the day which was totally understandable, but yet still made time to get my car started and up and running. I just got home from getting my inspection done and for a mom and pop place like it is I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. Amazing staff, outstanding service, and phenomenal wait time. Just overall a great place! I had the pleasure of dealing with Ed at the front desk and he was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere! I wish the scale was higher than 5 because they went above and beyond all my expectations!

My car splash shield started dragging on the floor today on my way home and I freaked out. I usually hate taking my car in to shops because of just general rudeness at every single one I ve gone to, or just not properly explaining or being nice due to me being a young woman. Took my car here because they were the first of SIX places to answer the phone for me. I am completely blown away by their customer service and just overall friendliness. I felt comfortable, and like my car was in good hands. Not to mention the did such a good job and fixing my destruction. Will continue coming here from now on!

Top notch service and reliable team! After taking my car to two other places, A and E was the most trustable and respectable of a mechanic facility! Looking for an honest mechanic? You can't go wrong with these guys. They will diagnose your issue and repair it. They don't try to get you to do things that are not needed. I had a dead battery, I couldn't jump start it so I thought it was something more. They charged it overnight, looked over everything the next day when the car started right up and sent me on my way. They didn't try and sell me a new battery, starter, or and alternator. Give them a try.

Spoke to a Chris, cool guy to speak with but business wise a bit pricey..$750 to change a water pump. Stating its hard to get to in the engine bay. Every where else is charging between $300 to $450.. Diagnostic was $50 but never recieved any report or anything to show what they checked. I told them coolant leaking and that's all they checked. I don't know the pricing for everything else but I suggested getting estimates from multiple locations before deciding on one.

Outstanding service, hands down the only place I will take my car in the future. I didn't feel like they were there to recommend different fixes and try to find additional problems than the one I brought it there for. Best shop I have been to in the area, and I have been to quite a few.I hope I never have to come here again, but knowing my car.. I will be back for more help soon..

Work is yet to be completed, but so far I'm impressed. I brought my truck in to get elements of my suspension replaced. I had done my homework, bought the parts I wanted installed, and knew approximately how many hours it would take a professional to do the work. After a brief discussion with one of the mechanics, Ed, the owner, came out and sized up the job himself, indicating where things might be less but providing a conservative, fair estimate. His manner instilled confidence and I booked the job. In contrast, earlier I had gone to Leading Edge Automotive to have the same conversation and left with no intention of giving them my business. The owner hid in the back room, leaving his good-hearted front help, armed only with what the computer told her, to discuss the project with me. Their estimate was 60% higher than that of A&E. It seems that my search for a local, trustworthy mechanic is over - A&E for the win.
