AVOID! I brought my 2018 Colorado in for an oil change, tire rotation service cost was approximately $98.First Problem: Ninety minutes later I get "only an oil change" No tire rotation completed. Why? The Service Technician stated on the bill "Lug Nuts Are Swelled, Can't Perform". In other words: "The technician was to LAZY to do the work" but the dealership charged me full price for the 1/2 service they performed.Second Problem: Technician noted my rear brake pads needed replacement because they had only 40% left. NO, I had them changed in January of 2024! (I can show you the receipt for work done from a reputable business). My initial pads lasted 6 years and new pads were just installed in January 2024.AVOID: Integrity and Incompetence in the service area. My lug nuts are swollen? I would leave ZERO Stars but that is not an option.I will go elsewhere for my service. Incompetence and Integrity issues at this business.UPDATE: I brought my car to another dealership. The lug nuts were not swollen and my tires were rotated! I asked about the brakes. The answer from dealership. They are great! Like new you must have had them recently replaced.AVOID Northern Neck Chevy! Unethical and incompetent!!!

I can't say enough good things about this dealership! Over the years, I've bought several cars and a truck here - both new and used - and the team is always incredibly friendly and genuine. If you're looking to buy, I highly recommend working with Mr. Brad Smith or Alex Lane - they're both trustworthy, knowledgeable, and great to work with.But the service department is really where this dealership shines. I've had some bad experiences with other dealerships in the past, but I've never had a better service experience than I've had here. Mrs. Chrissy Williams is awesome - she always calls me back promptly and makes sure that all of my vehicle needs are taken care of.Overall, I can't recommend this dealership enough. If you're in the market for a new or used car, this is the place to go.

I took my Nissan Rogue in to have the driver side window repaired. Three weeks and $1400 later, my window still wasn't working. I was told to take it to a Nissan dealer, that the problem was internal. Nissan dealer fixed my window in less than an hour. I have never been lied to so much from a business. I have spoken to the service department manager 3 separate times. No apology and no partial refund. I have heard the sales department is great. Maybe so, but do not use their service department.

I brought my dually here that had suffered a critical engine failure just outside of the warranty period. With the prior history of the truck and having my share of issues with another dealer that will not be named, I fully expected a fistfight with GM to get any kind of coverage as far as parts and labor would go.Not only did the Northern Neck Chevrolet team go to bat for me, they stood their ground, dug in and escalated the issue as far as they could possibly take it.Chrissy did a phenomenal job keeping me informed from jump street as to the status of diagnostics on my truck, the repair process and everything that had to be done in between to get her running again.I could not have asked for better service and communication from start to finish. In fact the majority of dealerships could stand to take a few notes from my advisor, Chrissy, the service manager, Kim and Phil the technician that buttoned it all up. This is how a dealership should be run, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.Thank you guys,Zach

They did a wonderful job with installing a new battery but had I known it was going to cost me 19 dollars for them to dispose of the old one I would have kept it for myself. Then I could have sold it .

I booked an appointment for a tire rotation only and i get there to pickup and my total is over $70....I asked what was the price increase and was told that an oil change was done. i JUST had an oil change the week prior....i still had to pay for a service i didn't get.....! disappointed.

I took my truck in for around in the engine they determined it needed replacement parts which was covered under the warranty while having it there the tec had a family emergency and the service person was able to set me u with a rental beings it was Thanksgiving week iwas not having any luck they tokeme to the rental company and picked me up when the truck was done very accommodating the only thing is I did not receive any paperwork just wondering if that s usual

The personnel took a terrible situation where "GM the company" and "GM Customer Service" demonstrated they had no concern for the customer and even less knowledge of the product and turned it into an opportunity to salvage a relationship,That is the top of the mark for any service team.............bar none.

The buying experience at Northern Neck Chevrolet was very comfortable and almost family like. The salesman was very helpful and took the time to show and explain all the new features for our vehicle. Amazing customer service!EJ in parts is very professional and knowledgeable, great human being and will go out of his way to help anybody. Chuck in sales is the salesman that everybody needs and should look for. Chuck is very honest and insightful. Kim is a wonderful customer oriented manager as well. Kim saved me a bunch of money and helped me explore all options when fighting with insurance to fix an engine blew. April was very helpful and communicative. Even sales department was amazing when looking into trading it in. The receptionist was always positive prompt and never got annoyed with my obsessive calling , thank you guys.

Called to schedule recall work and they were supposed to call me back to schedule appt when parts arrived. They did not call back and I had to call second time; they had not ordered the part until after second call. work done efficiently but they could not give me paper receipt because they had to "look up prices." offered to email the paperwork to me but so far hey have not done so.

The vehicle is a 2021 Silverado. Squirrels chewed through the wire harness at some 25-30 placed. The entire harness had to be replaced. Chevrolet as a company need to have a better stock of materials to make repairs in a timely manner. The dealer had my vehicle for 46 days to get the parts and make the repairs. THIS IS TOTAL UXEXCEPTABLE. The company wants your business but when when you need something the parts are no where to be found. If you are going to TALK the TALK BACK IT UP. Looking to sale this vehicle and go back to a horse and buggy. I had a DODGE for 20 years and NEVER had a problem with it. Talking to them now to get a used vehicle. NEVER NEVER NEVER again will I have a new vehicle.

Dealt with chuck and made a new vehicle purchase. I Came in and built what I wanted. He was a great salesman. We felt prioritized even though he was juggling multiple clients at a time. He made the transaction smooth when my new vehicle arrived! Carol was also a great help in the finance department overall it was outstanding service.

2 time car owner from this dealership. I must say that there are many great people working there! My low rating is about service rendered. No fluids being topped off, once having tire lugs not tightened, and long waits to make an appointment. I once had an issue with my radio completely not working. While still under warranty I was told it wasn't covered. Thank God for GM assistance they took care of the problem and didn't charge me. Now I am dealing with a transmission repair and once again $5000 dollars has to be paid. I support shopping locally but not here anymore. Maybe Tappahannock Chevrolet will do a better job.

My experience at Northern Neck Montross Chevrolet dealership has always been top of the line. The team of Chuck, Rex, and other work team members will always have my loyalty and support. They are professional and I feel more as a family member than customer. I have been doing business with them for over 30 years plus. I plan to continue to have my daughter and grandkids to carry the torch. If government could tap into their ways of operation; the world would reap much better results. Brought my 2020 Tahoe for a growling noise, they quickly determined bad front hubs. I was in a bind as a trip planned in a few days, rental cars very tight at Thanksgiving time and no second car. They got the parts in next morning, called me to offer installation that afternoon and installed while I waited. I am super pleased and impressed by this dealership. Service writers, (April andbher coworker) easy to work with, professional, courteous and pleasent. They will have my business again for sure!
