They fixed the frame on my Toyota Tacoma. They even replaced my catalytic converter shield when it fell off. Good guys and professional.

Excellent work by the team at Truck Outfitters. Had a transmission issue that four other shops could not fix and these guys did. Highly recommend for all your service needs!

Came in to get my car inspected. A worker here named Nathan was helpful and courteous during my short wait. Will come here again with my other vehicles!

Contacted Truck Outfitters 6 weeks prior to me travelling from the west coast to pickup a trailer that was for sale by their neighbor Lyman Automotive. I paid $100 for a full inspection of the trailer which included a detailed inspection of the aluminum frame. I specifically said that I would be picking up the trailer and travelling over 3000 miles with 2 cars on it back to WA state. Within 2 hours of picking up the trailer, my truck started to shake violently at various speeds. I arrived at my destination after having to drive a low speed to avoid severe shaking I proceeded to find out that all 4 wheels on the trailer had loose wheel bearings that had led to a tire failure. I then proceeded to remove the wheels and inspect the bearing for damage and was SHOCKED to find that there were absolutely no brakes on the rear axle. I immediately contacted both the seller and Brian at Truck Outfitters. The seller was very upset about the whole situation and assured me that if he had known that the brakes were wasted they would have replaced them without question. We both immediately realized that Truck Outfitters had failed to inspect the brakes even though they had been instructed to and paid to do so. When Brian at Truck outfitters was confronted with the situation, he first said that they had inspected the brake linings through the inspection holes, which on Dexter backing plates do not exist. He then proceeded to say "How do I know your trailer brake didn't lock up and smoke the brakes?" I pointed out to him that the shoes were rusty showing that there had been no brakes on the rear axle for a very long period of time. Brian then told me that he would expect anyone travelling across the country with a trailer would pack the bearings before he left and that he wasn't trying to sell me any maintenance on the trailer. At this point I became angry with him because he had been instructed and paid to inspect the trailer for the specific purpose of me travelling 3000+ miles immediately. I then demanded a refund and compensation for several things that resulted in his lack of integrity in doing the inspection. He declined to accept responsibility, but said he would refund me the cost of the inspection. The damage in parts alone was $800 plus it cost me an additional 2 days of down time, 2 nights in hotels and 2 days of lost work due to returning late. Lyman Automotive stepped up and did the honorable thing and reimbursed me for the parts without question. Truck Outfitters is not a business I would recommend for any reason as a result of what I described here.

Not a place to buy a used or vintage car or truck. I helped my son buy a truck from Truck Outfitters and what started out as good experience quickly spiraled into a disaster that is costing my son a ton of money! Throw on top of that the owner and sales people have blamed all of the issues on us!! Even the shop that did some work to "fix" the issues was terrible Driven less than 500 miles and a new starter, fly wheel, oil leak, transmission leak, and on top of that after the last fix, the mechanic left it in 4 wheel low for a new driver who had no experience except for the truck breaking down which led to a blown motor. ALL OF WHICH THEY HAVE BLAMED ON US and cost us close to $10,000 after a new motor is installed. DONT SHOP OR GET YOUR CAR OR GET YOUR TRUCK WORKED ON AT TRUCK OUTFITTERS!!!! Terrible terrible experience and I will continue to make sure my bad reviews are heard. cant give ZERO stars but I would!!

New controller was broken during installation. Had to make a second visit to have A/C charged. Was charged for courtesy inspection to solicit more work on my vehicle.

From start to finish, the entire process from initially consulting with Sam about the best lift application, getting the parts in, and getting the work scheduled and done - everything was easy, efficient, well communicated, and extremely prompt. The install was super clean, clearly performed by a seasoned technician, and achieved the exact end result we needed. Will definitely be bringing all future needs to the folks at Truck Outfitters!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

The service here is top notch and honest. Rather than do what other mechanic shops have done in the past and try to gouge me for repairs that aren t necessarily needed, I am given an explanation of what they see, what to expect in performance issues/remaining lifespan, and cost break down. It is worth noting that some of the guys that work here rebuild old trucks for fun, so they really enjoy what they do. I highly recommend this place if you re looking for honest and skilled mechanics.

I went to ask questions about my Pathfinders rear suspension thudding over highway seams and was told it's $125 to inspect the vehicle and you have to make an appointment. That's a bummer! I then went to YouTube and then asked a Pennsylvania guy with a pickup truck and got the info I needed. Replace all control arms. It's better to talk to guys who have trucks in my opinion. Because who has $125 to spend waiting on a appointment date? Not me!

If you're looking for a team of mechanic's and a group of guys that know what they're doing, look no further. Bought my 1st C10 from them and lost it one of the wind storms last year when a tree fell on it. They swooped in, and we started a build sheet and they built my wife and exactly what we wanted! Didn't pressure us into anything we weren't looking for and took their time to make sure we were happy. Building relationship's in this industry isn't easy but they know what they're doing, which in my opinion is what separated them from all others when it comes to off road and classic cars. Have them build you one today, you will not be disappointed!

I just picked up my Jeep that had a 2.5 inch lift with rims and tires! Due to my Jeep being newer, it was a task to get the right rims and tires to fit properly. Daniel was very patient and understood exactly what I was looking for. The mechanics stayed a little later to make sure everything was just right before I picked it up. They team was great. They communicated very well, upfront, experienced and knowledgeable. I highly recommended this place for any upgrades for your vehicle.

I had taken my car to the dealership for repairs - short story - I was told I needed a new transmission to the tune of $4,500. Truck Outfitters was recommended to me for a second opinion. Short story - $689 later my car is all better and I still have a few $ in my pocket. They test drove my car and researched the problem. It was not the transmission - one of the cylinders needed a new coil pack and they gave my car a tune up. Even better -my car was finished the same day. They went over all of my options with me, made a few suggestions, and ultimately recommended that I only complete the work that was necessary. Very refreshing - I am usually pressured into completing extra work. They were very professional, honest, reasonably priced and fast. I'm almost looking forward to the next time my car needs repairs. Thank you for a job well done.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY'RE VERY DISHONEST! I bought an engine from this company and when I got home about two hours later there was many key.parts missing that I paid for. I tried to call back but after I paid they didn't want to deal with me. I called and texted but to no avail. After about a month I decided to give up. I repeat very dishonest stay away.

I was having an issue with my radiator and a hose, I went and asked Brian if he knew anything about it. Obviously he did! Brian Allen is extremely knowledgeable about almost everything when it comes to cars and trucks (and almost anything else with a motor!) He fixed my car right up, and when I asked how much I owed for his help he replied, "It's no charge today, we are just glad we could help! He and Dan (a mechanic at Truck Outitters) were SO kind and helpful I will definitely be coming back for all my car issues! And i would 110% recommend this business to any and everyone! Don't let the name fool you, Truck Outfitters can help you with your Car, Truck, camper and anything else you bring to them!!!! Thanks again Brian and Dan for your awesome help!!!!! You guys totally ROCK!!!!!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had these guys put a lift on my 03 Silverado. Lift looks great. Hit a few issues along the way but its expected for an old truck. My brake hoses were bad so had them replaced. When I picked up I now have a brake light on my dash. Was told it was run low on brake fluid and the sensor on the proportion valve is bad. Nothing I cant do myself but a little disappointing to get my truck back with a light on that wasn't there when i dropped it off. Other than that it was a good experience

This is about the only place I will allow to touch either one of my vehicles! They have a good turn around time and are reasonably priced. If they ever go out of business I m screwed!
