I took my Audi to get the A/C fixed and an oil change - dropped it off around 130pm and expected a call the following morning for an update. At 330pm, the phone rang, and the car was already done! How impressive! Not only was the entire process quick and easy, the cost was better than I expected. I will definitely go back for all future work on my car!

If you have a foreign car please do not let them practice on your car. BEWARE! they are not mechanics. I originally took my car in for a coolant leak. They called themselves fixing the issue for 2 grand. Thennnnnn, one and a half weeks later, same issue. Then had a nerve to charge me another $400. and when I got my car back, it was making a sound that it wasn't before they laid their hands on it. They then said it was my brakes and rotors. I've never heard that sound for brakes and rotors in my life and I've been driving for a long time. Anyway, took it to a real MB auto mechanic shop and asked them to put on brakes and rotors. They told me that I do not need brakes and rotors but they will diagnose what the real issue is. Run , run and run.

I brought my Volkswagen Atlas here and had a great experience. Literally half the cost of the dealer and it now runs great. I even got a follow-up call a week later just to check in. Great experience!

David and the team are amazing. They treat you like the old town garage where the owner knew you and your family and made sure to do it right and only do what was necessary and not upsell you just to get business.Thank you David and your team for always taking care of my late mother s car.You and your team know it s more than a car to me and you ve always looked out as though I was one of the family.Again, thank you so much as always.Do yourself a favor and give these guys to try.Glenn.

BEWARE! Upon review of my recent oil change receipt I noticed an additional $4.99 for washer fluid. I called to inquire about this and was informed yes indeed they do chargeto top off fluids. I didn't approve this as I could have bought a gallon of washer fluid for approximately $3.50.Dave reluctantly told me to come back in and he'd refund me.(you will always get some snarky comments from him but I guess I'm used to it as I've been bringing my BMW to them for years)When I arrived yesterday Dave asked me if I had brought my car in? I asked why..he said "I need to suck the fluid out that we put in,"..I thought he was playing..no indeed he was not....needless to say I won't be going back....

If I could give zero stars I would. David answered the phone and was extremely rude. He cut me off while I was speaking very mean and rude. I wouldn't call, purchase or do any business with them because of him. TERRIBLE!

Had an appointment originally a few months ago for my '94 318is and was told it would be $250 to look over the car to see what it would need. Told them I couldn't make it to the appointment and they said it wasn't a problem. Made an appointment a month ago for today and it was towed there last night, I forgot to bring the key but they had 15 minutes til closing and said if I can make it there in time to do so. Got there at 5:27pm and the door was locked and 3 people stared at me from the inside as I sat there holding my key until one finally looked annoyed enough to get up and open the door. Let them know I was dropping off the key for my car which was just towed here and was told "it'll cost you $1500 before I even touch or look at the car" and to which they were called immediately after and confronted about it and they said "it'll actually be a $1000 deposit and what ever we don't use we will return" but planned to charge us $300 for a battery instead of simply jumping the car because it recently died. Fast forward to today and I get a call saying "the car is too rough to work on" and when asked what about it was too rough when all I asked was for it to be checked over to see what would be needed to fixed/worked on the guy stumbled and just said "the wiring and stuff like that" as if he couldn't think of an actual reason and told me to "come pick up the car whenever I can" So needless to say, if they treat cars how they treat customers I wouldn't spend any type of money at this shop on Hull Street, dodged a big bullet spending no money there!

Took my grandson's 2005 jaguar to Import Autohaus with a serious front end vibration issue. Dave identified the problem, fixed it, and had the car back to us in a couple days. The jaguar hasn't run this well in months. In my experience, Import Autohaus proved to be honest and provided exceptional service at a very reasonable price

I've been going to Import for years. I moved to Richmond, but I still make the trip to Chesterfield because I feel very comfortable with their shop. They are extremely honest and accommodating. I always trust my car in their hands. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I brought my 2013 GL550 in because I suspected the AC compressor was not working since the ac was blowing hot. It took a couple of days for the part to arrive but after that the job was done. I estimate that I saved a few hundred vs taking it to the Benz dealer. I have a 05 BMW that I have brought here for service as well and they did a decent job on that as well. If you have a foreign car I would recommend bringing it here.BOOM!

Moved to South Chesterfield from downtown. Used to go to Twin Star for my 3 series and was unsure I would find a reliable mechanic here I like. I've been to Import Autohaus on Hull St a few times and find their pricing very competitive and customer support top notch. Last time I went in, they even helped me replace my trunk sensor free of charge! Nice to have a reliable mechanic so close. Keep up the good work.

Make sure you are reading reviews for the business at the LOCATION you want to use. I read reviews on Import Autohaus (in general) and was satisfied, so my husband made an appointment for my car to be looked at for the heater problem diagnosis. They quoted a price of $47 for this service. My sister arrived in the morning 30 minutes late (very frustrating!) I apologized to the person at the counter. He said it was not big deal. However, we left the keys for a diagnostic and a couple of other items that my husband wanted checked out. We left and did some errands, were gone several hours. We came back to check on the progress and the counter person told us it may not be ready today, they haven't even looked at it yet and they can't order parts this late, WE DIDN"T APPROVE ANY PARTS and there wasn't even any diagnostics done yet. Needless to say, we took our keys and left. No better off than when we got there and wasted my entire day off with these people!

Import Auto Haus did a wonderful job on my 97' E 300 D. I had belt and pulley issues and they fixed it. Highly recommended if you want your Euro Import like new again! They are pricey but you get great customer service and knowledgeable mechanics who know exactly what they are doing! Don't waste time anywhere else!

I brought my 2012 jaguar XJ to Import autohaus. it was making a crazy sound coming from the transmission. Without even looking into the problem other shops charge me thousands of dollars. For two reasons one it was a Jaguar .Two they did not know how to work on it. After diagnosing the problem Import Autohaus found that it was the drive shaft gave me options on the repair and the price. Which was less than half of the competitors price I am very very very satisfied with the work and the way everything was handled I will be returning to them is I have a problem with my car. thank you so much I do suggest anyAnyone that wants quality work in a Timely fashion to go to them thank you.Service: Transmission repair

Always thorough, efficient, honest and fair priced. I have been trusting my car to them for well over 20 years and have never had a reason to complain. You just don't find that kind of service very often!

There are lots of places that can fix a car, but there's only one that I trust with mine - Import Autohaus, Hull St. I'm very particular about my cars; they are very careful with them and I've never had an issue with "mystery" scratches or dents from careless techs. I appreciate that. As a bonus, their prices are good and they're friendly.

I would not trust this shop to do an oil change, I left them my car with an engine light on to fix I left them instructions that the thermostat had already been changed, they called me and said it was ready and that it had a bad thermostat and they changed it, I paid over $300 for a part that wasn't even bad. Didn't even get it home and the engine light came back on. Called them back the next day and they said bring it back in. I told them not to change anything until they call me first, they had it five working days called and said it was ready and they put a transmission cooler in, the bill was over $700, did not even get it home and 5 codes showed up on the car. after talking to someone higher up at import Autohaus they said take it to the Innsbruck store and they would look at it, I found a shorted-out fuse box. This was caused by the store on Hall Street, I ended up paying a another $400 . Now I still have the original problem and $1, 400 in the hole . So take my advice and stay away from import Autohaus

I'm a car guy, and I think you can tell a lot about a place by the types of cars you see being repaired there. When I've been by Import Autohaus, I've seen everything from a V10-powered BMW M5 to a mid-1960s Corvette to a Triumph TR4 to your everyday Fords, Toyotas, and so on. What this tells me is that this is a shop that has a reputation for being versatile, for being detail-oriented, and for doing good work at reasonable prices. I also know that if something doesn't get fixed correctly the first time, they take care of their issues conscientiously and effectively. That's the kind of thing that you want to see in a repair shop.

I will never return to this shop. They kept my car for two days and not once did they call me to give me an update. They charge $750 for a battery and diagnostics on an SRS light . They also wanted to charge more money after I agreed to pay the $750. They wanted another $950 for another light they found after the fact . I got robbed.

If the customer service on the front end is similar to the internal workings of this place, I would think twice before going there with my car. They put on the appearance of kind and respectful people. But I was a parts driver for them for one day! WOW what ignorance I came across...I am a 55 year old woman. Dressed average and tried to do my job ...but it was my second day delivering parts. I went in the wrong door and left the parts with the obvious parts manager at the desk. Not a pleasant tone, just a grunt ...I left by wishing him a nice day...and shaking my head. On my second return he was not there and I left the parts and left the receipts. After getting about 15 miles away I realized that I had made a mistake and left the incorrect paperwork. So, I called and before I could explain, he started cursing at me yelling things like "this is a da*$ business" (as if I didn't know since it was my job too) I patiently explained that I was coming back and HAD delivered the parts, insuring the customers were served correctly. (They even could have printed another copy...but that takes effort)After coming back to bring the papers back...I explained ...It was not my company's fault, it was my second day and apologized....the only response I got was a question about the other papers I had left and he cursed again and said "do ya want the sh$% you left?"..So, HOW real businesslike and professional is that? I am writing it here because I am a consumer that really wants to support businesses that have integrity and business professionals throughout their business, and want everyone to know ...that isn't there! If they treat the other employees (I would be considered a sub employee) like they did me...It would really make for an awful environment to work in...and we know what that does for moral...and then the work done on your car...No worries about me going back he said he didn't want to call anyone and be a DI** or anything, but he did and I lost that route...I just hope that anyone who goes there gets the perfect service that they expect from others but don't show it themselves.I am posting this here because when you try to email the manager...you can't get the email addess.

Best place !!!! Thanks!!!!!!! They fixed my car and charged me a " Whole Lot less " than that Haley Toyota Dealership on Hull street and 288 ! And they didn't lie about what was wrong with it either, like we won't mention the others did. This is the second time they helped me out. Thanks Auto Haus!!

I have used Import Autohaus for years and they do good work but they do not wear masks at this time.If everyone wore one, the pandemic would be over. I will not be going back until the pandemic is over and maybe not even after that.
