I bought a used trailer that needed to have serious bearing work. Chesterfield Trailer was recommended by my auto mechanic who I totally trust. The Chesterfield Trailer team is amazing. Great communication, got me in next day and finished the job on time and very reasonable on the charges. All staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I get my travel trailer s state safety inspection done here each year. They ve helped me out with a number of small repairs and have always been very honest and reasonable on the price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of the clientele seems to be heavy duty trailers, but they always treat me like my stuff is important too. Highly recommend.

Kevin and his team have been around along time and have always takin care of Business. Best trailer repair and fabrication in the area not to mention they sell and install the best BOSS snowplows around. I ve been a customer of his for almost 20 years and counting.

Had an issue with the wiring on my trailer and they repaired it so everything works perfectly now. Love that I can schedule service and get my trailer back same day. Highly recommended. Both Chris and Kevin as well as the entire team are topnotch and will take care of you.

Man, what a great first experience with this group! We picked up a popup camper and needed a brake controller installed. They scheduled us in, we dropped it by on Sunday evening and they did a fantastic job on the controller installation, then got all the lights functioning, and finished up with an inspection! Took my card over the phone and locked the keys in the car for an after-hours pick-up. I haven't even seen the guys, but I know from this level of service that you can trust them!Thanks for a job well done!

Great place! Had issues with my wiring from truck to trailer, had numerous people elsewhere that couldn t fix it. I bring it to Chesterfield Trailer and Hitch and they knocked it out with no problem at all. Price was great. They are definitely my go to for my vehicles and trailers. Thank you guys for being awesome!

The trailer was decent. there where several issues. the back gate would not stay down, they did fix it on the 2nd try. the retracktable wheel I bought fell off 2x, the 2nd time its lost. there are MANY rust spots everywhere, the paint chipping off in places that were never touched by anything. my trailer is lightly used (4X) and is only 8 months old. it had a really bad paint job. the people were good to deal with though.

Scheduled an appointment a week in advance and changed my plans completely the day I dropped my rig off for what I wanted to do and they still got the job done. Very satisfied with the service Kevin and the guys gave me. Will definitely return.

After completing a repair and then inspection on my trailer, I ran into an issue with the hydraulics on my boat motor which would not lift for travel before I left the parking lot. Although not boat repair people, they broke away from their work and assisted in diagnosing and fixing the problem for me so that I could be on my way!

They are a fantastic repair team. They fixed my wiring problem on the trailer hitch. Reasonable cost, and even put a wiring holder for convince. I am ready to do the Shriner Christmas Parades. Think you all so much.

I spoke with one of their reps yesterday about purchasing a 6x16' they advertised and they agreed to hold it for me until 5pm today (9/13) because I would be driving from Norfolk to get it. He told me they were going to look it over for other deficiencies, fix a couple things they already knew needed corrected and that THEY WOULD HOLD IT FOR ME. That conversation was around 2pm on 9/12/17.Today, they informed me that they sold the trailer within hours of telling me they would hold it because of a communication lapse between their staff! I arranged to take off work, cash in hand to get a great trailer from what SEEMED like honest and reputable people and they couldn't even tell the person at the register about the hold. Last line of defense kind of idea. The owner was very apologetic in our followup conversations and has offered to see what we can resolve if/when another similar trailer comes their way. He was very professional in this matter and admitted he should have taken the cash deposit, also I understand how difficult a circumstance this can be to be placed in. I hope we get this worked out.Yes, I'm still very disappointed and I am only leaving this review until that similar deal comes our way. Otherwise, Buyer's: exercise due diligence and put down a monetary deposit and get your receipt if you have that opportunity.

These guys know what they are doing, period. I brought my 1961 M101 trailer to have a coupler welded on and to replace the axle. I could not be happier with the work. These guys do solid welding and I'd trust them to do work for me again.

The guys did a great job! Put a tow hitch and wired to our SUV for a fair price and it was done same day in just a few hours!

Glad to have found them on Google Maps. The are specialized and had what I needed at a fair price. If you need a heavy duty hitch skip the big box stores and head to Chesterfield Trailer and Hitch. Nice people, too.
