*this reviews was removed my first time leaving it? Sketchy.*Do not come here if you are a young woman. They will overcharge you. I paid $150 for them to just change my battery (that I also bought). They also *tried* to charge me $150 for labor to replace 1 brake light bulb. I ve changed my own battery multiple times and it takes 5 minutes and only requires a screw driver. They said changing it myself was not an option. I let them know my car has a leak and electrical problems because of it - and they leave it out in the open during a torrential downpour to allow it to fill with water, exasperating the issue.My car is back to having issues 5 days after picking it up. They didn t bother looking for leak. This place is all about short cuts and making their coin, not helping customers. I paid over $1500 for no solution.

This place is great! I went to Allen tire on forest hill and they told me that they had to hold my car(I don t have another car to get back to it). This place reassured me and told me that they can get the service done on the same day! I appreciate the work so much! I m stress free!

I went here twice. They told me that I could bring my own parts and pay a little less on the total bill, which went well the first time. But the second time AFTER they had put my parts on the car and I was ready to pay, they told me that they charged a 15% surcharge if you brought your own parts, which totally negated the point of bringing your own parts! It felt underhanded, so I've never been back.

Over the past couple years, it has always been a positive experience to get my car worked on here at this shop - never had any issues! Very friendly atmosphere and the guys are always welcoming and have great customer service. Matt Waller is my go-to mechanic because he really knows his stuff and without fail goes above and beyond to make sure I am well taken care of before I drive away. He's always given me a clear explanation of my car issues, any repairs needed, and the price before he does anything to make sure I'm on board with his plan of action. Awesome services at an awesome price, thank you Matt!!

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Mike and all his team are awesome, knowledgeable and professional. Mike helped me without an appointment to take of a stripped screw on my license plate. He just has a great attitude and I really appreciate their service. They are always honest and are not out for your money like other Service places. Thanks a bunch guys, YOU ROCK

I had a problem with my Honda Odyssey and I knew what it was and they agreed and quoted me a price of a little over $300 which was fair for the time the repair took to complete. I went to pick up the car and they told me that they were able to get it done in less time so the price was only $225. I have never in my life had an automotive shop lower the price on me. They had a customer for life and I highly recommend them to my friends.

I bought a new car and needed someone to trust. They came recommended by a co-worker, but I was still hesitant. However, they are amazing! They go above and beyond and genuinely care about their clients. They notify you about upcoming services needs and costs so you can plan months in advance. I am a long time Allen Tire customer. The staff is fantastic and the work is top notch. I just had to buy 4 new tires for my truck. They did an unbelievably great job (as always) and at a fair price. I highly recommend Allen Tire at any of their locations.

Dropped my car off around 3pm to get a transmission light diagnosed. The next day around 4pm they called and told me that the codes that came up stated the transmission fluid just needed to be flushed.Turns out, they charge a fair $190 for the flush but also charged me $135 for basic diagnostic services. I explained I felt that was a lot of money considering the simplicity of the code and service, but they said after they pulled up the code they spent a lot of time driving the car around, checking recalls, and inspecting wiring and other components. Be prepared to add $135 minimum to your bill for diagnostics unless you already know what is wrong (their words, not mine).While I appreciate the merits of being thorough, going the extra mile on someone else s dollar without them knowing isn t nice - it s frustrating. I wish they would have just called me right away to tell me what the code was, give me their thoughts, and see what I wanted. I would have told them to just skip all the fluff and do the flush. It s hard to swallow paying almost the cost of repair extra for diagnostics. One flush for the price of two!I came here based off the great reviews as we are new to the area. Guess I had unrealistic expectations. Had they simply charged less for diagnostics they d have a new regular because the tune-up was really good and this place is right by our house. Maybe I m naive, but I just can t justify giving repeat business somewhere that cost me $350 for transmission fluid flushing. I avoid the dealer to save money, not spend more! I ll just stick with the dealer here I guess.EDIT IN REPLY: I did have an appointment and waited 4 days to drop off the car. I totally understand where you are coming from. I simply wish I d have been kept in the loop and made part of the process. I ve had that treatment elsewhere and thought I d get that here. I guess I d been spoiled elsewhere! I m sorry for setting an unfairly high bar for you and your team. I agree with all you said and appreciate the service. Just still wish it would have gone differently - I also have mouths to feed and every dollar counts to me just as much as to you. Thank you!

Allen Tire is definitely the place to take your car in Midlothian. I've been using them for 20 years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Their service has been consistently reliable. Never once have they failed to impress.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Been going to this location for 7 years. The whole group, Mike, Mike, Chris, Brandon, etc have always been professional, personable and honest. They get to know their customers and see the value of long term relationships with their clients. When they can offer a rebate, promotion or argue with manufacturer for warranty protection, they always go above and beyond. There is nowhere else to go in the area for your car care needs, period.

Taylor was so helpful. He ordered parts and scheduled the work. It was nice dealing with a place that does what you ask for at the price quoted. When we went in for our appointment both Kris and Taylor were very friendly. Will definitely be returning to them for any service needs. Truck is great thanks!

Always on time with I have an appointment and always at a reasonable price. Never recommend services I don't need - always tell me how to keep my car running optimally and shoot me straight about work they would do versus work that isn't necessary, plus give me an idea of some of the maintenance work that may be in the future given the age of the vehicle. I will continue to trust Ray and his team to keep my vehicle running smoothly. Highly recommend.

Brought my car to Allen Tire for state inspection. They were friendly, professional and service was fast. They were very helpful when I needed to reschedule my original appointment due to a work schedule change. I will be bringing my car there when future service is needed. Highly recommend!

I waited outside the shop so I could drink my coffee while waiting and one of the shop people brought a chair outside so I wouldn't need to stand. While out there, I saw multiple people drive up with minor car concerns and the mechanics did quick checks for them (oil level/tire pressure). The staff there seemed friendly and helpful and I was in and out in just over an hour (oil change and state inspection).

I've had only excellent service from this shop. They've helped me late in the day with a new set of badly needed tires and are always willing to work you in asap for mechanical work. I trust them with their diagnosis and repair recommendations. Their shop rate may be on the higher end, but you can trust you're paying for a well experienced mechanic performing the repairs.

Love this place! I had my inspection here which resulted in a couple bulbs that needed to be replaced. I also had my oil changed and everything was completed same day! They were obviously very busy and it was a Saturday. So fast and fairly priced. Definitely making this my new spot.

The best service I've ever received from a mechanic! They always use your name and remember it if you're a regular. Very personable feel! And trustworthy! I don't have to wonder if I'm going to get ripped off. They have told me many times nothing is wrong with my car when I ask them to check something out or find something but say it can wait until the next visit. Wow! How often do you hear that??!

I drop my vehicle off for service for an engine code diagnosis. They processed the service, diagnosed the issue; however stated they could not repair the vehicle and I had to bring it to a dealership. The manager Mike called me a few days later to offer a partial credit, which was much appreciated.

So I'm from out of town and in big into using local shops when I absolutely have to get my car worked on. I've used this particular shop twice and each time I have been very satisfied by the service and professionalism at the shop.My most recent experience had them replacing my front drive shaft before the thanksgiving holiday. Though I opted out of having the shaft replaced due to a technicality on my end. Mike and the guys at Allen tire made swift work dropping my front shaft so I could be on my way for the holiday.I'm really happy with the shops customer service and I will continue to use this particular shop whenever I'm working in RVA and too busy to work on my vehicle.Thanks again.

Got a flat tire in VA on my way home to Maryland. Unfortunately my car doesn't come with a spare ( I didn't know that) Only option find a new tire. My daughter suggested Allen Tire. I called them up explained my situation. They said they said they could have a new tire by 10-1030. Had my car towed to them . They had the tire on the car and rotated my tires by 10:30. Everyone who helped me at both Midlothian Allen tires was excellent ! I recommend Allen Tires to anyone looking for service that exceeds excellence in every way. Thank you Allen Tire!

I have been going to Allen Tire in the Village Market Place for probably 20 years or more. The staff is great, fully professional about the important things and they never forget to smile. The services they provide are reasonably price and done timely. Took my Subaru Forester here for a second opinion after getting a high repair estimate for repairs after a check engine light came on. They were amazing to work with, listened to my concerns, and came up with a quick diagnosis! I just got a state inspection on my Pontiac and they wanted 956 dollars to fix three things, which were the front brake pads, right front ball joint, and right front headlight assembly. At the time, I didn't that kind of money to fix it right then and there, so it got rejected. Went home that day and bought new brake pads and changed them myself which cost 60 bucks for the absolute most expensive pads, in which they wanted 72 dollars. Went up and then bought a ball joint assembly and that only cost 140, in which they wanted nearly 250, plus about another 250 for labor. Jacked it up and tested it to see how much play it had (looked it on the VA state inspection requirements and tests, in which it said to jack it up as close to the wheel as possible, off the ground and to essentially jiggle the wheel with your hands at 12 and 6 to look for play) and it had absolutely none whatsoever. Looked at the ball joint specifically, and it looked perfectly aligned with everything it's supposed to, with no sign of wear. On to the headlight assembly that the said needed replaced, in which they wanted 200 dollars to replace it. The only disable thing wrong with it was a cracked plastic piece that connects the headlight to the frame of the car. Nothing that only a bit of Gorilla Glue couldn't fix. To sum it up, they wanted WAY to much for things that cost at least half the price or didn't need replacing at all. Hereby, I do not recommend Allen Tire at all, for they will overcharge for everything or just try to screw you on something that doesn't even need replacing.

Great people here. I needed a lot of work done and I walked away feeling like I got my moneys worth. They were also very helpful in telling me what I need done in the future and giving me an estimate. I even recieved a thank you card in the mail. I've been very happy with my interactions. Polite and attentive by phone and in person. They charge reasonable, expectable prices, and by that I mean I was never shocked at a high bill but also never got some kind of amazing sweet deal. However the work was always done very well and I have had no problems.

I came in asking about a quick service need on my Jeep. These guys were extremely friendly and helpful. They quickly got to it (without an appointment) and knocked it out with no charge. Hometown type of mechanics and now I will be bringing all my vehicles to these guys.
