These days there are plenty of businesses that "talk the talk, but don't walk the walk". On their website Anchor Automotive boasts that there is "no wait" for VA State Safety Inspections. It's true!!!! Try them. You'll like them for "walking the walk".

This place is just what Middletown needed! Before this place opened up, there was only one good mechanic in Middletown. The Exxon next to the interstate. Anchor automotive got me in pretty quick for an inspection and helped me get my vehicle back on the road with a quickness! I can't get over how friendly everyone was, and how magnificent the customer service was as well! I highly recommend this place for your car care needs!! Not sure why they have any bad reviews. Although, out of all the reviews, only 2 or 3 are bad, and it appears the people giving the bad reviews were probably just mad that that this place didn't pass their junky car.

THESE ARE SCAMMERS. I took my Jeep Cherokee to these guys for State Inspection. They rejected me saying my ball joints need to be replaced in order to pass. The receptionist guy is so incompetent because he didn t know which ball joint they were because I have front wheel drive NOT ALL FOUR DRIVE. Got a second opinion on the matter and the second mechanic said there was nothing wrong and that they just are trying to price gouge me into paying them 500 dollars to replace something that didn t need to be replaced. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER that guy at front desk needs to be fired or this place needs to close down they are scamming everyone that goes in this place.

I've been here twice for car inspections. They were fast and professional. The waiting room is very clean and modern, with an arcade machine and other toys in a separate play area for the kids. They provide a very nice coffee bar for the adults and a big screen t.v to watch during the wait. I was very impressed and will be back!

Great customer service. I believe it was Jeremy who helped me with my husbands work van. He was very knowledgeable and quoted fair rates (even lower rates than some places in Winchester). Work was done in good amount of time! Will definitely use them and I recommend their services if you re new to Middletown.

These guys were amazing! I'm new to town and I drive a really tall van with a roof rack on top so it's not just anybody that can fit it in their shop & take a look if I have issues.Without even an appointment, I just stopped by to see how long the wait would be to get an inspection and to see if somebody could check on a possible coolant leak and they took a pause from their other jobs and fit me right in and back out in less than an hour. Now I know what work I need to budget for and I totally trust these guys!

Just had to spend almost 600 dollars on what they messed up. Van wouldn't even run when they got done with it. Also broke my key and my ac belt was take off and not put back on for some reason.
