Ordered in-store tires online for installation and set an appointment for installation to take place from 5-6 p.m. and was advised that my appointment would only be held until 5:15. They didn't bring my truck in until 5:59 and asked me at 6:30 where I ordered my tires because they couldn't find them.Another customer who had been waiting nearby me since 4:50 for one tire to be changed commented that she should have made an appointment--even she was finished by 6 p.m., despite being a walk-in. It's 7:15 and they are still working on it despite being the only customer for the last hour. Great price but the poor service significantly detracts.I've had many positive experiences with other Walmart locations; just the Mechanicsville one has been substandard.

Extremely poor customer service. I showed up about 10 mins prior to my appt with my Walmart app opened in case the employee needed my order number. She mumbled everything she said and was extremely dismissive and rude. Every bit about her body language and tone indicated she didn't want to be there.Then when pickup time came, it was the same, if not worse because I stood at the counter making eye contact with her as she continued her conversation with a coworker. When he finally walked away, she didn't say a word, and just held out her hand for the piece of paper with the pickup barcode.The customer service in that department needs work.

This Walmart auto center is always great in changing oil tires, and air filters. However, they are short staffed. You have to catch them when you can.The hours available on the website don't always match. Very disappointing. It took three days to get an oil change.But like I said they do a great job.

Bought tires online spent almost $300 schedule an appointment through their system for 7 AM only to get to the facility no one was around I called the number when I finally got a hold of somebody they told me they don t open till 9 AM very poor customer service need to update website to reflect correct times that they are open even when you go to walmart.com and look at the page for the auto care center it says they re open at 7 AM. So it has been 9 months since I wrote this original review and I would love to say it got better but NOPE it got worse been trying for over a week to schedule a time for new tires (different vehicle) but no one even answers.

VERY POOR customer Service . They never have the Auto center open on time or at all for the most part . I can also name 4 separate times I needed to call them and they never answered the phone or IF they finally did (after calling 3+ times) theyll answer then hang up. I say permanently shut down the auto center until you have employees willing to operate it correctly and not on THEIR time! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE other than quick pickups

Very quick tire rotation/balance, and oil change. Counter personnel and technicians were extremely professional and courteous.I realized when I got home my wheel cover was missing. Counter guy stated over the phone they would hold until I picked up after my business trip 3 days later.3 days later was told it was probably thrown away right after I left because no one knew who it belonged to.The manager told me to buy another one, show him the receipt, and he would reimburse. Really????

They literally always close early I don t understand it says you close at 7pm but you re closing at 6:30pm I had to go out of town and the nine mile rd location lights on the machine wasn t working so I had to try and race to Mechanicsville only to be turned away and I called he was told they already cleaned up and put everything away and locked the doors. What kind of customer service is that? Very poor!!!!! It s a place of business, Walmart at that I would think they would know better, but apparently not.Service: Oil change

Their quality of work is very good. Terrence was great and letting us know how long it will take for our car parts to come in and how long it would take to put them on. The only fault I have with Walmart Center here is that it's very slow. I got there at opening this morning at 7 to have a tire that was already mounted on its rim to replace my donut and it still took an hour before I left there.... SMH

Great jobs done on all three of our cars. Efficient. Hard and steady workers. Don't try to "upsale" you; if you need something, they tell you, otherwise, they do what you are there for and move on. Highly recommend. Beware, there is always a wait because they are that good!

Paid for mount and balance noticed a little shake when I picked up my car. Took it to another shop and found 3 of the four tires needed balanced and had not been. Buyer beware, poor service and a fairly sour attitude to be found here. Better off taking your money elsewhere...

Today wasn't such a great day starting it off with a flat. Called to see if the had the tire available and physically checked just to make sure since I needed the tire change and couldn't wait. Once I got there I waited about 1 1/2 hours and it was done. I was impressed considering a mechanic had just quit (my luck today. Geeze... what a dayy ) and every spot had a car in it when I got there. They took my spare off and put it back in the hatchback and mount and balance both rear wheels. I had no issues!

I usually go there to get a oil change and have the tires rotated. The guys usually do a good job. So far no complaints. I usually get there eary. Earlier the better. They open at 7. Remember this is for Nine Mile road store.

Fast, friendly and will be having four new tires mounted and balanced in the near future. UPDATE----Ended up having two tires installed, they put them on the front instead of rear, miscommunication from counter to technician, fixed the issue somewhat quickly, but am very pleased with outcome.

Stopped off here and was told oil was good. Didnt need changing yet. Nice people tho

Hot freaking mess! They had a csr back there that was jumping from register to the oil change behind the glass. Customers did not know if the register was open or not. When I finally made it to the guy that was working, he informed me that he could not ring up my battery. I stood in line for 20 min just to be told I had to get into another line where the csr was bouncing back and forth from. It looked like headless chickens working back there. Get it together y'all.

After calling around everywhere to find an unusual battery for an 11 year oldBuick I've been trying to get running after its sitting over a year without running, I reached Brittany (Britney?) first thing after opening. She fielded all my strange questions about this bizarre car with the battery mounted under the back seat, looked up the battery and found it to be in stock. She then answered several more questions I had forgotten to ask in an immediate follow up call. Several hours later when I called back, having exhausted all other venues to find a way to get this battery installed, she worked me right into their schedule and I brought in the car. An hour and a half later I was on my way home with the new battery and no fear of turning off the key.

Worst experience ever....this is my second time going to this auto care and both times were horrible. The first time was for an oil change I was told it on A FIRST COME COME FIRST SERVE BASIS I was the second person in line 3 other people came behind to get oil changes and all of their cars was finish before mine...Now today I had tires put on when I got there it was 430 I left a 7 o clock this is rediculous...i had to be somewhere at 7 and missed it because the service was to long....THE only good thing about the visit today is the mechanics are nice....

Well been hear for about 3 hours now and my cars still not ready, man at the counter said first come first serve and it would only take an hour. Well 3 hours later I m still hear. I guess this is why the pay y all the big bucks keep up the under estimating, I won t be back. Waste of my time.

It's okay my suggestion is get there early because if you don't you'll be there all day. The auto care center needs more help they seem short staffed

Took my 2016 Subaru in for an oil change and they drained my automatic transmission fluid too. When I picked up car no one told me about transmission being drained. Car started bucking bad, took to my mechanic and he discovered the problem and fixed. Went back to Walmart and service manager acted as if he could care less. Big time training issue at Walmart service center.

Just got my oil changed. Happy to see that they cleaned the floors in the car!! I think its a good price and I have never been disappointed.

Slow staff never answers the phone. I had to cancel my tire order because I like to be able to get ahold of people when I spend hundreds of dollars

Didn't expect much but called looking for tires. Out of 5 phone calls spread across a day not a single call was answered. Obviously went elsewhere.
