Horrendous service and very racism . I brung my car there to get oil change and they messed up the whole cover of transmission at the bottom. The piece of metal to secure the cover was loose and hit the ground also pound back to the transmission making noise like someone hit the car with hammer. I had called the place to told them the problem right after I heard the noise on highway 295. The guys at front desk told me he had someone to take a looked at the car so even though the car making noise on 295 but I still have to run back to the shop ( 10 minutes running with the emergency light on and that freaking noise) was really freak me out. When I backed at the shop and all I got was not their false because they didn t touch the cover of the transmission but somehow the cover was loose and that secure metal fail on the ground. All they said was not their responsibility to get me a new cover for the transmission so who falls in this case? My BMW was running normal until it s got service at Seredni Tire & Auto center. The shops was not taking any responsibility for that so I left them 1 and still continued to report them to BBB or any consumer protection for this poor performance of the shop to solve the problem they did. So so disappointed at this point so I will file a complaint after the review. I also have the video I also recorded when I heard the noise on the highways and hopefully that would help me fight in this case.P/s : the oil was leaking I saw the transmission Oil drop on the ground and they said that only air conditioning water when they lift the car up to see the problem. At this point I m speechless with the answers of the mechanics who working there.

The store offers good prices on tires. the service excellent. Personnel over accommodating. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to tires.. they also provide inspections services. The waiter is very neat and accommodating. I highly recommend them for tire service.

I called Seredni and asked to speak with the mechanic that worked on my car (Owner- Mark Seredni). They stated he wasn t at that location at the time. When I showed up to Seredni 20 minutes later he was there in the lobby yelling at an employee. I asked if I could speak with him to discuss my car he had just worked on last week. We got into a screaming match in the middle of the shop. I asked him to call my mechanic friend to explain what is wrong with the car. When he got off the phone he asked me are you sure he works on cars? in the most condescending way. He refused to give me a refund on my tire alignment that he couldn t complete, because I had left a negative review from our first encounter. As I was leaving he told me to take it up with the Better Business Bureau . Overall, the owner took my money, refused to fix the car, and I still have a car that shakes all over the place. I absolutely will never go there again and would never recommend them.

Took my 2013 Ford F-150 to Seredni Tire & Auto Center to have the Air Conditioning fixed. I have had tire replacement services from Seredni Tire & Auto Center in the past and was very pleased with the staff and services provided. They fixed my AC, communicated daily by phone with status updates during the process of replacing my evaporator core. If you have an auto repair need, I would recommend to give Seredni Tire & Auto Center a call. Happy customer.

This place straight up sucks. Took car to get aligned, during alignment they claim something is bent in front end but nobody knows exactly what besides mechanic. I have now been playing phone tag with them for a week trying to get ahold of the mechanic(CEO). But he jumps from store to store and getting ahold of him is like finding a needle in a haystack surprisingly. Thanks for the great customer service!!

I took my truck in for the headlights to be aligned, and apparently there was an issue with the headlight assembly itself. Instead of calling me to let me know there was a problem, they took it upon themselves to pull the assembly and do work on my truck without my authorization. When I called the shop back and explained my frustration and ask for a refund, I was told the owner would only refund $50. That's a slap in the face.My strong advise is to make sure you get a phone call with price and labor for repairs, before any work is done!

Went in to buy an Interstate battery and took my old interstate battery in. Asked the guy at the counter to look up and see if it had any warranty left. He immediately said it doesn t . Again I asked could you look it up and he responded take it back to wherever you bought it! He also yell at me to not set in on the pad on the counter. With much effort he look up to see if he had the battery I needed and he did not. I was going to ask if he could order one but I was tired of being treated so rudely . I left and purchase a battery elsewhere.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We had our tires rotated. After we left, we remembered we had purchased the tires there so the rotation should have been free. When my husband returned to get a refund, the guy behind the counter said it was my husbands mistake not his. He talked to him like he was stupid and multiple times said it was his mistake and not his. He said you shouldn t have screwed up and went on and on. Terrible customer service bordering on being verbally abusive. He would not refund the cost. We drove all the way to the Broad Street location where they gave us our refund. No big deal there at all. They were not surprised to hear how we were treated at the Mechanicsville location. Will never return.

Had a Cylinder 2 misfire in a 2018 Chevy Tahoe. Took it to Seredni and Wayne took care of me. It took a few days and several dives deep onto the engine, but he stuck with it and discovered a bad lifter. He also fixed a belt noise. I am very particular about my Tahoe and Wayne was great. He is my go to guy from now on.

I have used them for years, but will warn people they are now price gouging. I will not use them anymore. 3 months ago I had a tire mounted and they charged me $15, now they are charging $25 for the same service. I was told the increase is because of gas prices. I am tired of everyone making up excuses to rip people off. All I can recommend is the you shop around before you agree to outrageous prices.

Got an inspection, was rejected for seats & airbag light. I asked why seats they couldn't tell me. Claimed it wasn't in computer it was on rejection sticker & paperwork.

Had to get my Dad's car inspected, and they were great to work with. I got there early on Saturday morning, and they were able to take care of it quickly. Had gone when they were really busy at the end of the month, and he recommended I come back in the middle of the month, and that was great advice.

Jim continues to take great care of his customers. I had another flat tire and was able to drop off spare and get this changed first tjing the next morning. The staff has also been very friendly.

I have been a customer of Seredni Tire and Auto Center in Mechanicsville for approximately 2 years. What a great place to get your vehicles worked on and state inspection. The Mechanicsville team is world class when it comes to customer care! Jim and Ricky at the front counter are always courteous and polite. I ve had the pleasure of working with both of them depending on when I drop by as the alternate shifts. They figure out my chief complaint with my vehicle base on my description and hand off to the service technicians in the back. Those guys are amazing as well! For my tires and oil change Roger usually hooks me up. Nice guy. Always polite and friendly. For my major engine work, I ve had the pleasure of working with Bryan. Excellent mechanic! He will diagnose the problem, and let s me know what needs to be done to rectify the problem and how much it s going to cost. No surprises! He ll even suggest what to fix first and what he thinks I can get away with to save me some money! Who does that! The lady in the office is friendly and courteous as well. I can t think of her name but she can always call me by my name. That makes me feel good that they remember me and I always get the same awesome customer care! By the way, they work on everything! I have 2 BMWs that have been serviced there, a Dodge Dakota pick up, my daughter s Mini Cooper has been serviced by the Mechanicsville team and our Honda Accord which they found me a used transmission for and got that bad boy running for under 1,300.00 dollars. That included the transmission, labor, 2 tires and state inspection. That s amazing!If you need quality work done on your vehicle at a fair price, and you are looking for a friendly and trustworthy place to have your vehicles serviced, try Seredni Tire and Auto in Mechanicsville. I think you will be just as happy with the service as I ve been for the past several years! Give them a try!

BEWARE! This location prey's on those who they believe do not know anything about cars. My wife just picked up her 2011 Honda Fit from this location and was charged almost $90 for an oil change. When she questioned why it was so expensive she was told that her vehicle requires Full Synthetic oil. This is not true, it does require 0w20 weight oil but does not require full synthetic.Roy who identified his role as a salesman claims not to be responsible for pricing. Which I'm sure is true. However, his responsibility is to inform a customer of a price and obtain written or verbal authorization before performing a service. He admits to not having told my wife what type of oil change he was going to perform. On top of that he felt it was appropriate to suggested "maybe you should do your own oil change." He also argued that he knows 0w20 oil is only made in full synthetic and that I do not know what 0w20 weight oil means. Unfortunately, I have managed an automotive repair shop for over 13 years. I know full well how this business works. I also know that being upfront, honest, and helping inform your customer makes a company a lot more profit than trying to rip someone off once and losing their future business. While I no longer manage a shop I do have both the means and ability to change the oil in this car but its none of his business why we choose to have someone service our vehicles for us.Penzoil Gold 0w20 is synthetic blendCastrol GTX Ultraclean 0w20 is a synthetic blendValvoline High Mileage synthetic blend is offered in 0w20Perhaps more effort needs to be put into products offered and suppliers purchased from. Even if they bought it from Walmart they could make 100% profit and still save their customers $20 on the oil and filter alone. Not to mention the car only takes 3.8qts, even if it is normal practice to charge 5qts minimum on an oil change, you can consider that additional profit.Roy, please see the attached photos so you can better serve your customers in the future.

Amazing, friendly service! I was on my way back to DC from the Outer Banks when I had a tire blow out on the interstate. This could have been a disaster. I obviously didn't know any repair shops in Mechanicsville, but the AAA tow truck dispatcher recommended Seredni. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly. I had my (extremely large) dog, Moose, with me and their shop is very dog friendly. They even brought him a bowl of water and gave him lots of love. Less than $85 (new tire, installation, and old tire disposal) and 90 minutes later, I was back on the road. I would recommend them to anyone!

Jim the Manager took great care with my problem as my brand new tire blew out and when I went back to my shop of 20 years for help, I got nothing. So I went home very frustrated but felt I should try a new shop. Called and spoke to Jim who not only corrected the problem, treated me so nice I plan to make this my new place for car care.

I was very unimpressed. The people are not very friendly. Lady use the F-word in front of my kids. And they said my car failed for something that was not wrong with the car. My husband checked one of the parts they said it needed and it clearly did not. We replaced the tires and took it elsewhere for an inspection. My husband was right...It passed. I did not even show the mechanic why it was failed...just asked him to reinspect it bc we did not trust the other company.Not only did seredni they tell me it didn't pass and had a problem that it didn't have... They also gave me a list of other things that I would need to fix on it that were not included in the inspection. If they do this other people they must be making a killing... By the time you include the part and the work. If they're taking off the good part ...like they told us ours was bad and it was good... They could sell and make money off that too!

These guys are first class all the way. I had an appointment at a different shop about 2 minutes away from Seredni , to get my sisters car inspected, and I got there 3 minutes late, and the shop said I would have to re-schedule my appointment because I was late. I thought the guy was joking, but he wasn t. So I googled repair shops close to me, and found Seredni Tire & Auto. I called Seredni, and Jim answered the phone, I told him my situation at that I was in desperate need of a state inspection, because I had switched cars with my sister and needed it done today, Jim said no problem, come on over and we will work you in somehow. Not only did they get the car inspected in 20 minutes, there were a few things that they could have made me do to have the car pass inspection, things that were very safe, but were going to need to be addressed by the time I had the car inspected again. So in stead of it costing several hundreds of dollars, it was only 16 bucks. These guys are extremely honest and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs tires or their car worked on!!!

Never had a problem. I go there routinely for oil changes and tire rotations on my vehicles. I have been repeatidly told that my brakes are good despite the squealing. They offered to fix it, but stated that there is nothing structurally wrong and it would just be a peace of mind fix. I typically wait less than an hour for an oil change with no appointment.

I went here 9/14 to get my car inspected. They had too many ahead of me so the man at the desk told me if you get here at 07:30 in the mornings we can get you in. So I went back 9/15 at 07:30 and the man ahead of me (I had already talked with him when we were outside waiting for the store to open and had told me he was a regular customer here and said they were good). When he checked in for a state inspectio n there was no issue. I get up there and this is not the same man from yesterday and he tells me he cannot get to me today. I go on to explain to him what the other man had said to me yesterday and he says That was probably Mr. Serendi so I turn around to leave and say Well I won t be coming back here again! and he says Your loss! So I say No its your loss! . I am new to the area and have multiple cars that they could have had my business but now .. Moral of this is: You never know when you have a good new customer walk thru those doors! Really bad customer service!!!!

My husband called before driving an hour to get an inspection was told it was about a 2 hour wait, he didn t mind and drove the hour to sit and wait over 2 hours and then for them to tell him they weren t going to be able to get to his truck today! Talking about mad. And evidently couldn t get to him because the van in front of him failed their inspection and the owner wanted them to fix everything that failed! In my opinion the other guy should have had to wait, he came for an inspection not to get his car fixed. Overall bad experience and very disappointed.

Used Seredni several times, always had good experiences (for the most part). This past time I had my new/used car dropped off for an oil change, alignment, and 2 new tires. I noticed when I got my car back it was still pulling to the right like they didn t align it. Here I am a month later and my brand new tire they put on is showing wire inside from never being aligned. I ve heard horrible things about Seredni And I wish I would have listened and read the reviews! Never again will they have my business or will I refer them!!

Would not recommend this place They ran into the building with my truck and said it wasn t their fault it was the mechanics??? That makes sense?!? Then got a truck inspected there passed with with no problem then 2 days later the back brakes go out cause there are no pads left?!? $500 towing bill $250 in brakes calibers and rotors!!! $20 dollar inspection cost me $750?!?!? Just lazy staff and poor management.Will not be going there again and don t recommend you go either.

I wouldn't let these crooks work on a matchbox car let alone anything of mine. I recently needed to get brakes done for the yearly inspection. so to save money I changed the rear brake pads myself, but because I don't have a lathe at my home I needed to get the front rotors turned. So I figured since I need that done anyway let them change the front brakes too. So I dropped my car off told them I needed to turn the rotors and check the pads. I didn't specify "front". Well a got a call a few hours later saying that the rotors were too far gone to turn and that I needed to replace all 4 rotors and all 4 brake pads plus a wheel alignment.... over $500. I told them not to touch my car and picked it up, bought new rotors and brake pads and did the job for under $140. and had the original rotors turned as they were still good. And to think they have worked on my vehicles for years......NOT ANYMORE!!

In my experience, this shop has never been available to do anything. From state inspections to patching tires, this shop never seems to have the time. I understand being busy, but on top of it, in my experience they ve always been almost rude about it they haven't even so much as offered a timeframe when they might be able to get to it. Just my experience, you might have better luck.

Misdiagnosed ac when I explained at drop off a lack of freon wasn't the issue, but they just added freon anyway. So, I had to take it back and they found the problem (ac cycling switch). When I asked about credit for the previous $80 spent, I was informed I was credited. I was "credited" for a recharge of the system, however, changing that part doesn't cause the system to lose freon, so that was an unnecessary charge anyway. So I got taken for another 95 dollars in labor for a part that takes 5 mins to change. Do not recommend. I have had other vehicles serviced here with no issues, but I guess changing tires is not all that difficult.

I took my 3500 Dodge Ram to be inspected yesterday 10/8/19 I was told everything had passed other than two bulbs . Was going to be 58.00 . Then all a sudden front breaks and rotors where really in bad shape . I just had breaks put on three weeks ago so I was taken back . I approved breaks to be put on. I picked truck up and looked at my receipt from the work done three weeks prior and front breaks were replaced . The employees shy and sandy were kind trying to make it right but nothing can make it right . I wouldn t recommend this company to do anything . Rip off business ! William Baldwin

They were super nice when I showed up 25 minutes before closing time with a nail in one tire. I was in and out in half an hour and enjoyed the time I was there (they have a pretty cool collection of memorabilia in the shop). The service was fast and affordable, and I would definitely go back again.

We have been using Seredni Tire for years. Most recently, we requested 4 new tires to be placed on our truck for the winter and asked to keep the 4 already on the truck, 2 were like new. There was a mix up when we went to pick up the truck and the older tiers were missing. They continued to look for the missing tires and called us later the same day when they were located. Thank you, Seredni, for your excellent customer service and your willingness to place your customers first.
